Laurelynn is very lovely! Congratulations on her arrival! Is that a watch strap she's wearing as a belt? I had one similar to that but I gave it to my roommate since I don't have anyone who wears that kind of style.

Homg, Karsh and Kyle together are so cute!! My boys are so mischievous, they love playing tricks on each other. Crow's been nursing his ankle lately, because I switched his foot out with a slightly defective one. So Cricket volunteered to take care of Crow while he rests the foot. He's such a sweet boy, they are great friends!

 

Such gentle, loving boys, Pandy. You are so lucky they get on so well.

 

So guys, I got Gavin his neat event arm that I nearly completely forgot about while on vacation...and I can't quite figure out how to unstring his current arm to replace it. I can't pull out the magnet/wrist part to expose the string and unhook it. Help?

Designedforsmiles : She wears a set dress/belt bought on Mimiwoo website. (I wanted something quite simple/fresh adapted for "running into the fields by a nice summer weather".
But I also have an unused strap watch which would finished as belt too... lol

 

I'm guessing it's because he's too tight. Check the other arm. Maybe you can get that wrist off to alleviate some of the pressure and then you should be able to get the wrist off the other arm. Then put back together both arms. This worked for me when once. I think the wrist was just stuck a bit for me though.

 

Mm, well I mean the tensions not too tight, I can pull his arms apart at the elbows and shoulder, but I just cant' grip something that small firm enough with my man hands lol. I don't want to use pliers or anything and risk damaging the resin....

EDIT: managed to push teh ball joint far enough to the side to use some pliers to hold the elastic and unhook the hand. Successfully re-strung the new arm on. Gavin now feels badass despite his femmy face.

Pandy, I can practically feel the love through my computer screen.

So, I had a pretty badly yellowed WS MNF Soo head and a Resinsoul WS body that I meant to put it on... Didn't work at all, because her head looked like a lemon compared to the chalk white of the body.

So I broke out the RitDye, and dyed the body with just a touch of "tan" RitDye, and the head with just a biiiiiit of "rose" RitDye, and what do you know, now they match almost perfectly! The only downside is that of course I had to remove the truly wonderful faceup the previous owner of Soo gave her... But I don't see how else I would've found her a matching body, given the yellowing.

Once she's dry, I'm giving her a new faceup... I just hope I can do a decent job!

 

Oooh! That sounds like a sweet combo! I hope you'll spam your girl once she's done, yeah? :3 How did you attach the head to the body? Is it modded or did you use a neck connector?

 

It's funny that you say that because I actually got one all written up over the weekend and just have to post it! I was wondering if I would get anyone interested but it should be fun I'll be posting it tonight so keep watch.

I still haven't decided what MNF I am saving up for, but I'm leaning pretty hard towards Shushu. I do know what wig I want to get first tho! It's the blond wig on Miyu's basic page, KDW-31 (Blond); however it's been out of stock for a while. Does Fairyland only keep a small sock of wig styles that they occasionally cycle through? I don't know why but I'm a bit in love with the wig and have my heart set on getting it...

 

Hey guys XD My sis bought me an adorable miniature camera for my bday and I want to take pics of my MNF holding it. Alas, her no.3 hands won't work well Does anyone have any suggestions as to which hands I could get (mag on). I want one hand that looks like It's clicking the pic, and the other to look like It's holding the camera. So far I'm thinking no.7. Any suggestions?

OMGosh~ I can finally post a photo of my first ever BJD~!

Everyone, I would like you to meet Illestrezia Angelique de Serre, my MNF Shushu~!

She got here before her clothes did so I didn't want to post her in the borrowed clothes from my friend (my friend has an Iplehouse JID so Illi was SWIMMING in her clothes) so finally I can show her to everyone!

That's my fourth official face up attempt and I'm not too happy with it so I'm hoping I have time this coming weekend to wipe it and make it softer looking =3

Please ignore the clutter, I got a new camera JUST to take photos and those clothes arrived today so I was too excited to bother cleaning before pulling them onto her and taking photos asap XD

I checked the online tracking of my DES. She's already here in the country. I crossing my fingers that she'll be delivered to my uncle tomorrow and will not be charged by customs.

As for my own girls... One of them is no longer a girl. I got a Kid Delf Bory today, and before I knew it, MariLou (who didn't have "her" own body) claimed his body and a boyish wig. Then "she" informed me that MariLou was short for Marius Louis and not Marie Louise.

Sheesh. And I have a girly wig on the way for him, too.

So, other than MariLou turning into a boy... Flore got her body a couple of days ago, as I've mentioned, and the body was chalk-white and her yellowed head looked like a lemon on it.

Her are head and body dyed to match:



At the moment, I don't have a neckpiece, so the head sits pretty low on the neck. Once I get around to it, I plan to make a sort of replacement neckpiece (but simpler than the original) out of apoxy.

 

Ahhh I've been so busy with schoolwork that I haven't been browsing DoA >.< Here's some Zari spam I just ordered some new eyes for her, gonna make some more clothes for her, and I'm gonna be re-doing her face up after I get back from vacation I've been meaning to do all this since I got her in May but summer classes have been kicking my butt x.x



And I know I'm like 3 pages late to say this, but congrats on your Karsh Kimochi!!!!!!!! You're gonna love him, Karshes are awesome
