After having the poor girl for around two years I eventually got around to giving her a faceup. These eyes and the wig aren't her permanent ones although they suit her better than the ones I intended to give her. The dress was purchased from a fellow DoA member. Very cute! She has such natural-looking freckles. It's a shame you aren't keeping the eyes as they suit her rather exceptionally. She looks like a nature nymph in human form.
The tan skin is a lovely colour! Well done with the faceup, I agree her freckles are lovely. I think the wig suits her perfectly. She looks so wistful, like she is longing for someone.
@Bellamina thank you and although I had intended a sort of boho, child of nature, free spirit but with a bit of a wild, wilful streak look for her she had her own ideas and somehow preferred to settle on the more gentle side. I’m a redhead with lots of freckles myself so I did my best to keep them as random as possible. I agree totally that these eyes really suit her, they’re cheap acrylics that I forgot I had. When I say I will be replacing her eyes it’ll be for something similar in colour but sturdier quality that hopefully catch the light better. @Seafoam Shade, @sinervium thank you so much @aihre thank you, not the look I had intended but as soon as I tried this dress on her (because I forgot where I put the dress she’s meant to have ) I couldn’t believe how perfect it was and my whole direction changed. I blame the wistfulness on the dress, I got it and the backgrounds from the master of beautiful and wistful doll photography, @mmilena. @castironteapot thank you
