I guess I'm bouncing quite quickly. Last night, I realised my baby was officially dead, and this morning I started working on her little sister. I use the same plan, with some corrections here and there (I guess the big advantage of doing it twice is to know what was wrong the first time). The thing is that I think I really need encouragements now (which is a fairly new feeling for me). So I started the base. I'm allergic to styrofoam, so papier mache does save my life! *lol* Edit: Ok this photo is quite pointless, but it's the first time I try it that way and I never guessed the first step could look so ridiculous. There's even a ball cracking. So let's share the hilarity: I'll update more soon.
Whenever I screw up... and I've screwed up a lot... wether it's something breaking, an outfit not sewn correctly, or my 3d program crashing in the middle of work without saving *sobsob* I just figure it's God's way of saying, "Come on... you know you can do better than this. >:/" So like you've said now you can improve and build on what you learned the first time. :3 she was adorable then, she'll be even better now! coincidently, your tiffee shares my name, even with an "H" at the end. I you for that. XD
Thanks! ^_^ I'm very good for the non-saving part as well. It's crazy how many pictures and/or animations I did twice... But except for one exception, the second time was the best. And my Tiffee is not "my" Tiffee yet. I was saving like mad for her and my mother had pity of me. Since she (tiffee) was on sale, she accepted to buy me one for christmas (i'm very lucky indeed!). But she ordered the last day of the sale and sent the money in paypal the same day as well. Paypal said it could take to 8 days, and Souldoll will erase the order after 7 days. Plus, we have almost a complete day of difference, which means the sale ended on the 14th for me. So I'm kind or freaking out. But I already accepted the order might be deleted. I'll have her later, that's all. When I first saw Tiffee, she reminded me of Sarah in Road to Avonlea (yeah, I watched that as a kid). And I really love the name Sarah, it's so pretty, so I decided to call her so. And you know, almost all of my favourite heroines are named Sarah. The beautiful Jennifer Connelly in Labyrinth (at least I share HER name *lol*), Sarah Von Trieck the dark witch in Grande Ourse (I'm sure you don't know that tv show, but it's excellent), etc. There're so many.
Hey! I've been using the same method too! It isn't as messy, and it's a great way to recycle. I havn't posted any pictures though because...well I'm terribly, terribly shy. Looks lovely so far, and I can't wait to see how much this one progresses!
