Ordering Migidoll layaway

    1. So, back in September i put a Migidoll head on layaway by emailing them. The communication had been super quick up until the last payment. I was accidentally 2 days late. I was busy that week and just plain forgot. I sent it as soon as i remembered with an apology. But i haven't heard back. Normally they'd answer within a couple days that the payment was received but it's been a couple weeks now and my anxiety is getting to me. I also left a message on their Q&A on the site just in case but nothing there either.

      Do they often drop off the planet suddenly like this? Most companies give you about a week of being late before they cancel it but since they don't specify, my anxiety is telling me "oh *** they cancelled it." Anyone have experience with them this way? Or at least just tell me i'm being crazy and they wouldn't cancel because of a payment being 2 days late :sweat thanks in advance
       
    2. If they didn't send you a late payment reminder, I don't think you should have anything to worry about. Although I would be worrying too since it's been awhile since you sent the payment. Unfortunately, I haven't ordered from them before so I can't be of any help with their communication style. Have you tried checking the company feedback thread etc for info about how layaways with them usually go?

      Not sure if the impending holiday would have any indication with slow communication, but have you noticed a lot of posts on their Q&A board that need responses? Perhaps they are just delayed in reading and replying to inquiries. Did you try posting URGENT in your title for your particular entry on the Q&A?
       
    3. It does make sense they'd send a payment reminder if they were going to cancel. So since i never got any of that you're probably right and i'm worrying over nothing haha. I couldn't seem to find anyone talking about it when searched but i could've overlooked it.

      Unfortunately the Q&A board has the messages private to everyone except the poster so i wouldn't know if they've replied to anyone else. For now i'll just keep waiting i guess. I'll update if/when they answer or if the head suddenly arrives or something.
      I think i just needed someone to tell me i don't need to worry haha. So thanks for that!
       
    4. You're welcome! If it's been awhile since you posted on the Q&A, maybe shoot them another email just in case. Make sure you put "URGENT Payment Verification for Order #" in the title in all caps like that as well. This will hopefully get their attention if they missed it.

      Some Q&A boards won't allow you to click on the message, but will have like "user so and so" posted and then a little indicator for whether or not the company replied. You just won't be able to read it. Does it only show your messages?
       
    5. They finally responded to my email! Almost a month later without an apology for taking so long lol. But they said it was received so that's all that matters. And i can finally relax about it. Thanks so much for trying to help!

      ETA: i received the head randomly today. So weird that they just quietly sent it, but at least everything is fine now
