I guess this girl was technically an impulse-buy, though I've been following Olga, her artist, on instagram for a while. I wasn't expecting a preorder to open up when it did, however, and I couldn't resist getting her while I had the opportunity. I'll be honest; it was her beautiful hands that I fell in love with first -- I'm just in awe of their delicate elegance. There were three faceplate options, and I chose the elf-eared 'Rhein' face, since I wanted to make her into a lichen/moss fairy. Her dress was also made by Olga. Her box is one of the prettiest I've gotten, so far. The brown paper frame holds the box closed. Her padded cushion, and COA booklet. She was also securely wrapped in bubble wrap and foam sheets. So tiny! o_o She has henna-style tattoos on her hand, back, and abdomen as well as manicured toes and fingernails. Her wig and antlers are magnetic, and her eyes are 2mm. Her hair is silk thread. Ugh, so elegant! The camera doesn't do her shimmery blushing any justice; she has iridescent blue and pink shades on her skin. For being so small, she has so much detail -- even veins and creases on her feet. Olga is such a talented sculptor! The little lantern house that I decorated for her. It suits her pretty well, I think! I named her 'Seirophora'. I'll eventually get her a pair of fairy wings, and maybe a mushroom to sit on. (I knocked her antler crooked and didn't notice til just now, oops! xD) Thanks for looking!
She's so wonderful! I adore her little lantern, she looks perfect in there. Her hands and feet look absolutely incredible, so detailed. I hope to see more of her in the future!
She is so strikingly beautiful! I love the lantern house you made for her! The whole thing has such a strong and beautiful fantasy vibe!
Oh my goodness, so dainty and cute!!!! You're right, those have to be the most precious doll hands I've ever seen!
It's a pleasure to see a Melian doll. She is absolutly gorgeous. And she will be even more with fairy wings!
So small and beautiful. I’d be terrified of handling her lol. That lantern is a very cool home for her too.
Thank your for sharing your Melian doll. I love the tiny 23" cm and small 33" cm sizes. Olga makes really dainty dolls; the look of them lends themselves to that elvin and fairy easthetic so well.
