Hey, I am German but am living in NL close to the border. I'd love to come to NRW for a meet if we find some more people
Awesome! I have at least two dollfriends that would come with me. And it would be my first meetup as well.
Hello, I am also from Germany, about 50 km south of Hamburg. Before Corona we had some meetings here in the north, but it has gone all quiet now. Would like to meet, but can not travel far at the moment.
Same here live in the north of hessen, I think it depends on where in Germany a meet would be, I would travel like to Düsseldorf or Frankfurt.
I have family in Frankfurt, so that would be fine for me too. Hessen, NRW, NDS are good for me. I live so close to those states, I can drive through their borders in 1 hour.
Hi everyone, I'll be visiting beautiful Dresden in the second half of November (for a weekend). If anyone's from here, I'd love to meet and doll
Hi! I'm from Germany as well. I live about 50km southeast from Hamburg. I'd be willing to travel for a meet, but no more than six hours by regional train. So NRW would be possible. I'm also planning to go to the Dokomi in Düsseldorf this year, maybe meeting around then and in that area would be an option?
Hi there again, Düsseldorf sound good. There are a lot of great asian resturants or other cute shops - I'm scared that the Dokomi isn't the right place to have a meet.
I actually meant meeting in Düsseldorf somewhere either that weekend for a couple hours or maybe the Monday after/the Thursday before the Dokomi? I don't think meeting at the Dokomi would be necessarily a good idea... but if I'm already there anyway it would probably make things easier (at least for me) if the meet could be around then?
I can only join meet-ups on Saturday and Sundays as I have work during the week and it takes 1,5h ride via train to Düsseldorf for me.
I need 5 1/2 to 6 hours to get there (if I'm not already in the area) if I'm using the regional trains I wouldn't have to pay extra for. Sometime during the weekend does sound good though. I might be able to combine the meet with visiting a friend in the area too.
Hi everyone! I'm from Germany as well. Is there a place to chat for German doll collectors somewhere, like a Facebook group or a discord or something? I'm also in Northern Hesse so I'd be happy to know if there are any meet ups planned nearby (or far, too).
Not that I know of yet. I only meet up with my friends who live in my area and we have a Whatsapp-Chat. Edit: Gelenkpuppen aller Art is a rather new FB group with only 10 people by now.
Hi guys, I'm going to Germany around Easter! Week before Easter 14-20/04 Brilon - area south of Padeborn, then moving over towards Trier and Luxembourg, week after Easter 22-25/04 in Luxembourg. Will have 2 dolls with me: HID woman and Granado 70Adagio in contemporary casual clothing that I want to take photos in beautiful landscapes and historical places. Would love to hear your recommendations as to where. If anybody wants to meet up, let's talk and arrange time and place, I'm reasonably mobile, just try to avoid big city centres where it's difficult to drive and park.
Is anyone going to be in the area around Dortmund on Monday, June 9th? I'm going to be at the Dokomi next weekend and I'll stay with my friend in Witten until the 9th, so if there's anyone who'd like to meet-up on Monday the 9th in that area, please let me know.
Hi! I'll be in Germany Xanten area, then Padeborn area in week 29 (mid July). And again beginning of September Travemunde. Anybody around there?
Will anybody come to the Anime Festival Kassel in December first weekend? I´ll be there on Friday and Sunday. On Saturday I will be in Düsseldorf for the Mahou no Yoru.
Oh I am from Kassel I would be on the Anime Festival with two of my friends who are also in the hobby but I will be just on Friday there.
What time would you prefer? And then a meeting point. Or should we wait with the where when we know the weather forcast? I try to take the train from Frankfurt to Kassel on Thursday evening. So almost any time should be alright for me.
Do you want to meet at the Convention or somewhere else. So would 15 o'clock be okay? And should we also Look for a placed to eat?
Yes. When it rains we can find shelter. For eating I´m not sure if we should reserve or do it spontaneously.
I don't know exactly whom I met but I found three darling people yesterday at the Anime Festival. I maybe should check the meet ups more frequently. I was the one dressed as Qifrey from Witch Hat Atelier.
Anyone here in Hamburg? I dont have any friends in my area who collect bjds, would be nice to know some :>
Not quite Hamburg, but I can get to Hamburg Main Station within half an hour to an hour as long as the trains cooperate. :3
How cool! Would you be interested to know each other and meet up one day✨for me it takes about 20min to be at the main station with the S-bahn
I totally forgot about the meeting I´ve been working a lot because of sick co-workers and my private life fell short because of that.
@bluemooncosmea Late to the party, but also interested! I am about 40 min from HH main station (also working occasionally in Hamburg) and would love to meet!
Even later to the party … It's nice to know that there are still active community members in the Hamburg area!
Oh that sounds bad. Maybe next time. @everybody: Which events will you join this year? And anybody near Frankfurt?
Who's in for a meetup at Barbiecon April 18th? @kelpie and me usually take the chance to have a look around and have coffee and snacks afterwards. Not a lot of BJD stuff, but you can get lucky and find BJD items or even 2nd hand dolls for sale. It's a fun event with nice people. https://www.covergirl-design.com/hamburg-convention
