I spent a full 6 hours straight on this boy. @__@ I have a headache. Meet Wiz... My uh.... Elf? Tell me what you think of him~
Awesome! He looks very suprised to be there. His ears look really great! I am a sucker for big ears. ;n; My only suggestion would maybe to give him more top to his head? It's a little bit short and it'll be hard to get a wig to sit on it.
LoL! Cute!! Very nice for a first head! Congrats Nepherim!! He sotra looks like --- Dobby from Harry Potter... ^.^'
Another one who likes the ears~ Though I dooont know the look you're going for so I cant really say "Do this and this", I second the adding onto the top of the head. Also it seems like something oculd be done to lessen the thickness of the sockets since, how deepset the eyes are (Unless that's what you're going for). Other thing is you would do well to indent a little just above the bridge of his nose, 'cause, you know how on any or well, most people, the nose doesn't come down at the same level as the forehead, it like...indents and then comes back out? ...That sounds like babbletalk to me D: I'm so bad at wording things ;3; But yeah. This looks a hell of a lot better than my first (and second) heads did. Maybe it's the angle of the pictures? But it seems ot me his top lip could use more clay.
I have to say that if that is your first head, you did a good job! my only comments would be to say that the bottom lip should tuck under the top lip and that because of jaw alignment and teeth, the upper jaw would protrude just a little, therefor the lower lip is tucked in at the sides..and not be the as the top lip. and I agree there should be a dip from the forhead to the nose..though that could be his species. I sculpt artdolls as a hobby, and been doing it for well over 5 yrs...if you want to see some of my dolls go to www.catdancers-creations.com this isn't a plug for my stuff, just wanted back up my experience...
