I've worked on these outfits for some long time - including lots of research. Most of them were finished a couple of months ago but I'd not yet managed to take any actual photos (just snapshots to share with friends). so today I made myself take some pix with an actual backdrop. I still need to get the gals in their fancy dresses to take photos with the guys in their dress uniforms, but that's for another day.... redressing these big dolls sure takes effort, doesn't it?!! Six dolls make up this group: EID Luo rs = Captain Jack Aubrey SJ Demian sb = Lt. Tom Pullings F65 Rick tan = Dr. Stephen Maturin HID Rebecca grs = Sophie Aubrey HID Rebecca peach = Rowena Pullings nSID Mari rs = Christine Wood Capt Jack and Sophie Aubrey, and Tom and Rowana Pullings The guys are in their "undress" uniforms (i.e., daily wear) and the gals in casual dresses a couple without a nice backdrop.... Dr. Maturin and associate/gal friend Christine - and their pet sloths The men in their Dress uniforms - Jack's dress hat was quite the job!! and a few photos of Lt. Pullings' undress uniform outfit as it was being made. I made the scabbard for a sword that I had on hand. (Capt. Jack's sword and scabbard were purchased on ebay)
