I had a surprise delivery today! Just got her tracking number this morning and when I checked it she was already here! Meet my darling jackalope, Fable~



Her ears will come in with her wig, but in the meantime I'm too excited not to share her! I just have her on my Soony's body for now, proportion wise it looks really nice but I can't say anything about color match as the body's beauty green. Oh, and I grabbed a comparison of her and my DWC-02 for you Vampire, here it is~

 

Marchen Waltz is definitely pinker than Volks.



That's an SDGr Alice body on left, Marchen Waltz Ceylon in middle and a DollsTown freshskin Elf body on right (2009).

All have been stored in boxes in a dark closet.

Just heard back from Marchen Waltz. Dreamy Chocolat will be up for sale from September 2nd. YAY!

 

I'm so excited, I just received a white resin Aimee today!
The resin match looks really good, I'll have to take a photo. The body I have for her is a Volks WS body, lieselotte's first version. Because the volks body is from 2010 it might have a smidge of mellowing so I think if MW white resin was on a brand new volks WS resin that it would be a perfect match.

I just saw the dream chocolat head and I'm in love I was wondering if anyone knows how April Story (4sdolls) resin matches with Marchen Waltz normal skin? I'm searching for a nice and more mature body for her and the one from AS looks really nice :<

 

I have an April Story body coming within the next couple of months, will be able to post a resin comparison pic then. But Marchen Waltz NS has a yellow undertone which is a great match with Volks NS. From the comparison pics I've seen it looks like April Story resin has a pink undertone. My NS Aimee is on a yellowed Volks swarikko body from 2006 and the resin match is perfect. Also, she has a 9.4 neck opening which is great for Volks body. But with April Story body there will be big gapping around the neck joint. Hope this helps!

Here is a comparison photo with volks if anyone would like to see. Both are white resin.
Volks Una was made in 2012 and Marchen Waltz Aimee was made in 2013 so there is no yellowing on either doll.

Thanks for the reference pic! Marchen Waltz WS is like paper white! So glad my Aimee is NS, it was really easy to find a body for her.

 

how's marchen NS with WS body?? are they match??

 

Has anyone seen the body being offered on the Marchen site for sale it's a Bambicrony Bellezza body, neck measurement 9.2 cm neck. Also no pictures of any Marchen heads on the body or any text details saying it works with any of the heads. Surely they would not advertise the body if the white and normal resin was not a near perfect match and the neck size worked. Does anyone know more about color and size match?

 

TreeLore: One of the members mentioned on this thread that she had her Marchen Waltz girl on a Bellezza body, and the resin match is perfect, as well as the neck opening. I think it was the NS resin tone she was talking about.

Is it just me or the new moonlight dream Chocolat head looks a bit bigger than the older open eyed mold? It says on the MW website that the head size is 9 .. And it looks proportionately fine on the volks body ... Assuming she's on a volks body in the promotion pics.

edit: just checked the site, she's on the belezza body.

Marchen is going to release a new boy and a girl sculpt! I am sooo excited! Has anyone else checked them out yet?

 

I love these girls....I have been admiring them for a while and I saw Cherry tart, although she's more then I can spend at the moment....does anyone know how often MW release sculpts?

I've fallen head over heels for MW's Elena head omg it's so unique! I really want to find one and make it into a boy on a Volks SD10 body so his baby face matches his baby body!

 

Does anyone know if the rerelease their limited dolls again down the line. I only found out about this company the other day when I saw a gorgeous Stella head on Tumblr, and she's sold out now TT^TT

 

I'm seriously in love with MW. I'm thinking about snagging both the WS Charlotte & WS Chocolat. I'm not a super huge fan of WS.... but they're so perfect. I'm just really nervous about the fact that they're both...well... WS, and I read through the posts, but no one seems certain about what's a good match for them resin wise.

 

Hoping on to this discussion, I have a Marchen Walts Stella head that's going to be here very soon. I'll try to get some pictures of it vs my dolls. I am hoping at least if I can never get lieselotte, I'll be pretty happy with her. She looks just precious.

At least, for the whiteskin you could get the Bellezza Body. As for the body, I'd look into Leekeworld or loongsoul white. I can't confirm anything but they're both pink-whites.

Is it the bambicrony body? And where did you see that the Belleza body is a match for the skin? I was considering purchasing a Resinsoul color matched body.

 

Well, seeing how Marchen Waltz carries the Bellezza body. I feel like it's a pretty safe assumption it probably matches. XD I'm sure you can ask to double check though!

Anyone else ordering while the event is on? I plan on getting Stella! I'd get the dreamy Chocolat as well, but I don't think my wallet could take it lol, though that is an incredibly adorable sculpt.

 

@Biff If you wanted a body to match the normal head -- you can order the bodies in normal skin.

@Sylph What event? Oh! They're rereleasing a bunch of heads. I ordered a chocolat awhile ago. And am waiting on a body.

 

@orangediscord They have their winter event going on until Feb 22nd and they're opening up orders for a heap of their limited heads that had previously been sold out.

@Sylph Ah yes, I wish I had known about it last month. I ordered a Chocolat in whiteskin, and would have preferred her in NS. That being said, she's still a beautiful sculpt, so. ;-)

I wonder when they use the word "limited" don't you! it seems there is no limit to the limited!!!

 

@TreeLore haha they're probably not limited in a specific quantity, but they're not like some molds that can be ordered outside of specific periods.

 

She's just a head and has a start of a faceup, but I've got a wig I think now and eyes..plus a flower for her hair

Thanks! Btw I forgot to mention, the resin's a really good match for Fairyland actually. Dreaming Doll isn't too bad but it's a bit lighter. Right now i'm still thinking of going with the Bambicrony though, when I can get the funds.

 

I just put down my first layaway payment for Stella! I'm going with Claire for her name, and I'm getting her Crobidoll's CRWL-77 wig in light black, and I'm still looking for the perfect blue eyes for her. She's gonna be my sweet princess

 

I've always loved Marchen Waltz dolls, but when I saw Stella, I knew she would make a perfect sister with my Volks girl.

Oooo, I love their outfits! And I knew that Stella looked a fair bit like Lieselotte, but I didn't realize how much until I see them together

 

@prince_of_the_netherworld Actually that's what drew me to MW in the first place. I'm a huge fan of Volks' sculpts and I feel like a lot of MW's dolls bare some sort of similarity in style.

Your girls are gorgeous! Who did their faceups?

 

Yeah! they make perfect sisters!

At first, I was afraid of the resin difference in colour. But once I got the faceups done, they were basically the same.
And Seony is the artist for my girls

 

My girl is home She came with some extras too, a cute hat, hairtie, folder, and a really nice scented sachet that I can't quite place the scent of, but it's smells super dreamy! I pinched Gale's eyes to see how good 18mm's looked for her (though they were meant to be her eyes originally lol).

 

I received the Belleza body and oh my god, the posing is wonderful. I loveee the body.

 

Has anyone tried to access the Marchen Waltz site lately?

 

Just checked for you says page can't be displayed. Their server is no doubt down temporarily.

 

It's been down for a few days now -- but I'll check again later. I do notice that Marchen Waltz doesn't seem to have much activity on DoA. But their sculpts are sooo lovely.

 

They may be moving servers or something like that. I can't see them disappearing.
For heads of course the market place has many of them.

 

Their site is still down and I've not been able to get a reply back from their email. I'm considering emailing bambicrony.

 

Saw their site was down the other day and got worried. Hope everything is OK.

 

is there still no news about what happened to them?
