Sculpts Male BJD suggestion!

Jan 17, 2026

    1. Hello everyone! The title says it all lol I am looking into diversifying my doll collection. I mainly collect female fashion dolls but I recently have been going down the rabbit hole of fantasy male bjds. I am a big fan of the Wuxia or just high fantasy genre but still would like the doll to retain a somewhat realistic faceup/sculpt. Ringdolls is definitely on my radar but they seem to sell mostly 1/3 scale? I'm mostly collecting 1/4 scale. I would love to get some suggestion on other different brands that y'all collect and recommend! :)

    2. Ringdoll has recently started releasing their dolls 1/4 (Baldwin has had a release to the smaller size.) I personally was not super happy with the quality on the 1/3. Conceptually cool, but I am not happy about their quality control.

Miracle doll has done 1/4 and depending on your range, some where near 52 cm. It's not quite 1/3 not quite 1/4. their demon Landon had a human body but fantasy face, and ever so often they release more fantasy oriented dolls.

Is also keep an eye on dream valley, I feel like every couple months they show new fantasy characters. I prefer uncle size so I'm quite pleased they constantly sell those 1/4 size because it means I'm safe from being too tempted, haha. Their lizard boy was very nice though.

    3. Raccoon doll has 1/4 size dolls with elf ears. They are pretty realistic looking too. Might be more of what you're looking for.

Otherwise would recommend Iplehouse as well, they sometimes will have fantasy dolls, like elves or vampires.

    4. conarium on staceyspinkocean has several interesting sculpts, such as anming. good selection of independent artists there also.

    5. I was reading up on Ringdolls and some people said that back in the day, the quality was not good but they did improve recently. I’ve also heard that the wait time is pretty long but I would think that’s pretty universal with any brand if you’re buying a full set.

ohhh the female raccoon bjds look gorgeous! I forgot about Iplehouse. With the size that I’m looking for, they mostly do young boy/girl sculpts. I think besides Ringdolls, SartoriaJ is another brand that I came across that does a few adult looking bjds in 1/4 scale.

Have you bought anything from staceyspinkocean? How is the customer service and wait time? It kind of reminds of another website called luladoll that sells different types of dolls as well.

    6. If you look at the FID section on Iplehouse rather than JID, those are mature 1/4 size fashion type dolls. Basically all their 1/3 size sculpts, but shrunk down. :) I personally love Iplehouse dolls.

    7. Doll Leaves is in a bit of a weird place right now, but if you're ok with looking for secondhand, I have two of their 1/4 scales, including Ben, who has elf ears, and like them quite a lot. I believe Denver Doll also has some of their 1/4 sculpts in stock currently.

    8. i have several times, including that sculpt i mentioned, and have found it to be one of the best experiences i have had purchasing dolls. excellent communication, quick shipping, immediate notification of any issues, and no customs fees (at least for me.)
