Magic Mirror Studio Saoirse and Siobhan 30cm discussion part 1

Hello everyone! Today I will update my blog with the layaway options, since many people have asked me about it : ) Please, stay tuned! Also, I will open soon a facebook contest and you may have a big surprise there... ; )

 

I had been following and wanting this doll for months... and finally I can have one! TAT Even I have been making experiments whith her future makeup. She will be an ultra-cute oni!

I made a comparison picture of Magic Mirror Dolls, they are just awesome! I love their curves and pointy ears. I wish Nanyalin can made future preorders with fantasy skin colors!!

I'm confused about the fitted mohair wig option. Does it come in a certain color? Or is it the half wig shown on Siobhan?

Hi everyone! Glad ot see the discussion still alive ^_^! The fitted wig default color is white, so everyone may have the opportunity to dye them on their favourite color. But I will try to have more colors available!

I am mad with myself. Mad and sad and mad again LOL! I have my friends Saoirse staying at home for a while (thank you Michiru ), and she is so absolutely stunning AND beautiful AND amazing, and I didn't preorder one for myself (I wanted a Siobhan, though). Arrrggg I could not afford it, even with the layaway. I do hope there will be another preorder someday, meanwhile... I have fun with my friend's Blueberry!

The first batch of dolls ship tomorrow ^_^! Early next week goes the rest of the fully paid orders, and lastly, the layaways. I hope I can have them all shipped before the end of the month! And they arrive with a little surprise for the people that took part in the preorder : )

 

Today I've had the opportunity to visit Nanyalin's house and finally meet her. She's a lovely girl that lives in a dolls Paradise! Her atelier is full of dolls and doll parts everywhere... And it was like comming back to childhood

I've had Saoirse and Siobhan in my hands and even though I loved these cuties since I saw them in pictures, all I can say now is that I'm now totally and deeply in love!!! I've spent a loooong time playing with a blank light tan Siobhan, I was just fascinated... and tons of ideas about her came to my mind. I hope I can soon bring to life one of them ^_^

 

I just paid my last layaway invoice, I hope to see my girl soon!

 

All the non-layaways completed and shipped out! I can't wait to see the girls around ^_^!

I love what Nanyalin did with her make up and she immediately took over a wig I had just finished making for my planet doll Renee, but she wants to make clear that the dress won't be her long term style; it was just what I could find to fit her.

Your Siobhan is so cute, I like her dress and her eyes.
Dress up this fairies is a little bit hard. I can't find anything for my Undine, things like wigs for example.

 

Thanks Ashe - I was really pleased to discover she can share wigs with the planetdoll tinies but they are really hard to get wigs for too. They take a perfect 5 (not 4-5 or 5-6) if that helps.

I had to discover the unpleasant truth for the wigs myself, after buying five 4'5 wigs from CanCan =_=UU. Same for eyes, sometimes is 8, sometimes is 10, depending on the brand... and the clothes are not the easiest, also, because of... you know, curves. Lots of them. Granted that I won't look bad at anyone that decides to leave them naked! :_PP

I am so pleased to see the thread grow with more arrivals! Ashe, it was such a pleasure to meet you two at the Ldoll. I remember you had a hard time to decide wich one of the girls you wanted, haha! I think the couple you got looks awesome and I love the water/fire combo. Super lovely!!

Tide, your girl looks just amazing in those wild curls. I do not know which wool you used to make that wig, but man, happens to be one of the most stunning things to wear on the head I've ever seen on a doll XD. Happy to read that you liked her faceup! I was a bit doubtful of leaving her little noggin' so pink, but I thought she looked SO cute that I had no heart to remove the nose blush. Great choice of eyes, too. They compliment the pink skin so much!

I just saw Roseanne's Siobhan IRL yesterday and am in love. How did I not see these girls before?? I am hoping to sneak in under the April preorder - keep your fingers crossed!

Thank you! I forget exactly which wool the wig is made from but it was either Wenseydale or teeswater and it was artisan dyed (not by me although I made the wig)
