Maybe someone will find this interesting ^^ First I modded Volks MSD Maggie's nose, then I put her on a Happydoll body. I got a cute Maggie head. I love her eyes, mouth and face shape, it's adorable. But I didn't like the nose at all. So I modded it just a little... I started with course sand paper, then moved on the fine sand paper. I worked slowly and since I have a terrible eye for symmetry I used a mirror to check as I went. I'm very happy with the shape. Next, I got a Happydoll Elf body. it fits! The lip at he back of the head is a little ugly but the head fits so well and moves around perfectly. Old-type Happydoll resin is much too yellow for Volks. In fact it's just yellow. So, I need to make it match. So, I blushed the face alot, to make it darker. Then, I blushed the body with the same pastel. It's hiding the difference alot. First I simply coated the body as it is. Then I brushed pastel around joints and prominent areas of her body. I then used the brush to lightly dust the whole body. I'm going to coat her again tomorrow and she'll be done ^-^ Here's how she looks on her new body! After blushing the face and before blushing the body, taken with flash to show the contrast. Sorry the photo is quite unclear. After body blushing! How the head fits on the body She's nearly finished ^-^
she looks very different before and after O__O you have done a great job beacuse you've modded a lot the nose and she still looks beautiful congratulations ^^
Very good nose mod! You even managed to keep her profile in a straight line, and thats so easy to mess up when changing noses.
If anyone is interested in seeing her finished- http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111149
Oh she's wonderful!! I know what you mean about the "little ugly ones". None of them are UGLY, really, but it's just so much fun to be hands on and really make them your own ... Excellent job on that nose!
