me either she is taking a while though, i got a bit of sun/dry weather today, then it clouded over and started raining again. i'm not sure whether pino is actually going to be a girl though. this faceup is looking decidedly boyish at the moment. emrys and noah may get another brother after all. if so i really hope they make pino a basic so i can try and make a girl next time. i love the girl on the website.

 

@auntbear Me too, that's why I ordered mine with the face-up, I think Luts have done a great job of this little one and I doubt very much if I could do it any better.

 

maybe if they release it again they will keep the same faceup. if so i may have to consider actually getting a doll with a default, something i haven't done in ages!

 

I hope they will release Pino with elf ears!
But first i must wait until Mytyl is home.
She was ordered for me by Think Pink a few weeks ago.
Then my Hansel willhave a sister.

i almost got my pino's face done, but he/she decided he/she wanted to be a red head and all the lashes i have are too dark. none of the wigs are quite right either. im going to order new ones but there is likely to be a postal strike/lockout here that they are predicting might last for two months! so no new supplies of any kind for a while

Yes, I read about it @auntbear, but didn't realise it would go on for so long, what a bummer! Nowhere near by that you could get hold of them?

 

My little Pino touched down this morning, hopefully she will clear customs quickly and arrive on my doorstep tomorrow. YAY!!

 

Not yet, unfortunately. I've already posted a question on the Q&A and got an "oh, so very sorry about this case, she will ship this week" answer. Not sure what that means, but it's been 60 business days and adding a few wigs should not have slowed it down that much. Seems a long time for a tiny doll with just a faceup.

 

unfortunately no. we have some pretty good fabric stores for clothes, and i can sometimes find props locally by repurposing dollar store stuff, but other than that nothing anywhere near. i depend on the post for all the real doll stuff

fingers crossed that she flies through customs!

 

That's a bit slack of them, you actually ordered yours before me, still hopefully she'll be on her way today or tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat too. There is a shop in Sydney that supplies Monique wigs, but with the prices they charge, it's cheaper to order from Marcia even with the postage and $'s lousy exchange rate. Go figure that one out!

I will say a few prayers auntbear and hope the strike doesn't last for long.

Custom's are pretty quick when dolls come in via EMS, so I am pretty sure she'll be here tomorrow (that's providing Aust.Post aren't on the go slow or send her to the wrong suburb).

I also understand when a doll decideds they are a different hair colour. It's funny

I love her, her face-up is just gorgeous. I wasn't happy with the size or colour of the eyes so I changed them. Not overly happy with the wings either, as I didn't realise I had to add magnets to her back and the ones they sent are so strong they just keep sticking together!! Very frustrating, I don't know why they don't add magnets into the resin like Fairyland do, it would make life a lot less complicated.

Hi guys! I recently got my first resin baby and she just so happens to be a Luts Tiny Delf! She is the Mytyl sculpt and I am so in love with her! Her name is Shu. ^ - ^ I am going to make her all the clothes!!!! ( ƅ°ਉ°)ƅ

Everyone's TDF look absolutely adorable! I have a GRETEL ELF ver. arriving tomorrow! I can't wait~ He's been my TDF grail for some time now. Once he arrives, I'll share him! And, since I'm new, I'll be able to be a part of this forum with him!

I changed Tian's wig and decorated the IKEA glasshouse today. The only thing is, I'm not sure about this furniture for Halflings, so any suggestions you might have will be appreciated.

 

Rasa was supposed to be a boy, but when I opened the box, this precious girl came out. So, here she is! Isn't she cute?

 

She is beautiful~ What a sweet face!

 

Thanks, Snow. She has a new pair of eyes and wig on the way. I'm going to keep her orange hair, but her eyes will be violet! That way, she's a little different from the company photo, which I was drawn to~ Can't wait for your YUL to arrive!

 

I can't wait either! And I'm sure Rasa will look even prettier with violet eyes!

 

Well, my Pino FINALLY showed up, after a string of not very happy Q/A messages and a lot of sad, not so accurate excuses. Anyway, at least he's here just time to go to Comic-Con, so I'll get proper "intro" pictures during the panel. He's already ditched the brown wig for blonde and the glass eyes he came with for smaller Safrins, just have to figure out what to dress him in. For now, he's asking to be called Patrick.

After I received the eyes, Rasa just wasn't bonding... But, I was thankfully able to gift her to my sister! No better home~ Well, it's no longer a girl, but I love what she did to him! Now, I am questing a MYTYL~!!

 

So this is the new luts Pino. Pretty interesting to see an owner pic. I like your Patrick a lot. Is that default face up or self-made or?

@Xanadu Dolls That setup is absolutely ADORABLE! Look at that tiny oven, aaaaa....and I can't get over the matching hats and outfits.

Thank you, the oven is actually a digital clock. I still have to make the Halflings bows to complete their outfits, but they'll be finished over the weekend.

 

Xanadu Dolls, so cute. Can you tell me what size eyes you used?

 

Thank you. To be completely honest, I can't remember whether they were 10 or 12mm. I just know I looked in my box of eyes for something smaller and lighter, unfortunately my eyes aren't marked with sizes (very sloppy of me I know).

 

Hi I am wondering if a Tiny Delf 20 body can be used with a centaur? Or does it have to be the regular Tiny Delf body? Thank you very much

 

I would think it would be any Tiny Delf body, since they sell legs when they sell the centaurs.

clochette....Question! Wasn't Pino only sold as a full set? If so do you have plans to make a fairy...(with another doll)? Very cute doll.

No, I bought my boy as a basic with faceup (and the brown wig in the site pics, which he promptly refused to wear). There were lots of options for what you could add or not add. I didn't get the fairy parts because the attaching magnets weren't embedded into the resin..you'd have to tape them onto the doll. So, I opted out.

@clochette That shirt is too cute to deal with. I'm loving his whole outfit, actually, but especially the shirt.
@stellarphenomena Ohhhh she's perfect in that outfit...and is that a hosta plant behind her? Awesome use of scenery I can't get over how little and delicate she looks next to the huge plant behind her.

Xanadu Dolls, Aw thanks! I didn't care for the sculpt that modeled it, but it's cute for a few of my others.

 

Omg all your little boys and girls are so cute! I am super excited because I just ordered a TDF20 Gelda in the darkest tan!! I wanted to order a Tiny Delf since they first came out but never got to it, but I'm so glad I finally did! At first I wasn't sure which sculpt to pick, I had the hardest time choosing between Kai and Gelda but in the end Gelda won. I'm sure she won't be my last, as Hansel is growing on me too....
She will be my first full Luts doll and my first tan doll from Luts aswell (I've always wanted to have a doll in that delicious dark tan). I've read through all the TDF threads and am really grateful for all your helpful tips! I ordered some extra hands aswell so I can show everyone how the regular TDF hands look on the TDF20 body.
So anyway, I am happy and can't wait for my little dark girl to arrive, please keep spamming your little ones, everyone!
Oh and btw I used the layaway option from Luts and can't recommend it. It's super confusing and the "form" you're supposed to fill out doesn't work and it took about 4 messages on their Q&A board to finally let them know how I wanted to pay and when.

I'm sorry, I have no idea >.> Guesstimating from the picture of the boy with his arm spread out, I'd say about 8.25cm? It looks like about one-and-a-half shoulder-to-wrist measurements. Sorry!

So, they are available on the website all the time? Or is there a certain time for pre-orders?
I've heard that e.g. when ordering from Lati you have to wait up to 10 months to get your doll. Is that the same for LUTS?

They have basic TD available all the time and the wait time is usually between 8-12 weeks.
