Gosh thanks for telling me that! I bought some sealants recently and I was genuinely going to spray my msd inside the house since it's so cold outside, and be like what-ever, "it can't be that harmful if I do it one time".

All of a sudden I am second-guessing my order for a strawberry Tyltyl tinytaur in real skin brown/tan. Would I like the pink with the normal skin better? But then she wouldn't be a sister to the choco cookie Peter in real brown...I don't want to mess this up! It's my first time ordering anything from Luts AND my first time ordering a bjd that has any human parts.

 

I think real skin brown and strawberry will look adorable! Pink/brown is one of the cutest palettes in my opinion. And if you type cute palette in google, pink/brown is a recurring theme! I wouldnt worry if I were you, Im sure she'll be perfect. plus luts tan skins are beautiful chocolate brown colors, and not orange like other companies.

 

I did this exact thing. I put TDF hands on my TDF 20, and to me it isn't so bad but it may be a personal preference.
The ball part of the wrist is technically too big, and does slightly hinder movement/posing, but it may be worth it if you
really hate the TDF 20 hands (which I kinda do..)

Always great to see Usagi- she's so cute!!! Hmm, the TDF hands don't look too bad at all! I do wish the 20 hands had a bit more...versatility. If they just put spaces between the fingers, I think that'd help a lot.

I didn't notice there was anything wrong with TDF20 hands but now I can't stop disliking it myself too. Just...want to...separate those fingers, agh.

 

*squee* I have adopted a Mytyl from FFD! She should be here early next week!

 

Maybe some day, they'll give us more variety in the 20 hands......

the tdf hands don't look that bad actually. since my tdf 20 girl will be ns when i finally get her i might get the smaller hands and try modding the wrists for better movement if they haven't come up with better td20 hands by then.

 

So it really can be done! :O That's great news to hear, and those hands look adorable on her even with the tad too big wrist. >.>; The tdf20 hands, while still cute, seem to remind me too much of fashion dolls like Barbie and whatnot. They're not as expressive as the basic ones.


Maybe luts will decide to make more hands for the 20s though. It'd be amazing for them to have the scissor and rock hands too, and maybe even some heart ones. ^__^

 

I agree with RainbowMarbles, pink and brown make a wonderful colour combination, I don't think you will have any regrets.

In response to requests for Mytyl photos, here is my Persi (short for Persephone). She arrived a couple weeks ago, and was my birthday gift to myself.
As for the TD20 hands, I actually prefer this style because they make her so much easier to dress. Very slim sleeves just slide right over them.
As my first fairy doll, she is a little out of my comfort zone, but finding a style for her will be fun.

Aww brio she's lovely! The blonde wig looks gorgeous on her. And that is true, about the slimmer hands. It is nice not needing to mess with them when you dress the doll.

 

One thing I do like about TDF20 hands is that they are so petite.
Brio, such cute Mytyl! I can't stop loving that expression. Has anyone ever thought that those lips remind the style of Garnet from steven universe... I didn't think about it until I kept staring her for hours at Luts site, thinking of buying her in dark tan color and then Garnet's image came to my mind XD could be just me, but I want to buy her so bad

excited because I just made my first payment on a tyltyl centaur! This is will also be my first BJD....looking forward to seeing the new centaurs once they start to arrive

 

A good choise to get your first bjd as tinytaur I think it adds up excitement even more when it's such special type of doll.

 

I now have a tinytaur (that is the cutest name for them I have heard!) on layaway! I cant wait for him to get here! He is a Bubble mint body with Kai's head and faceup! I'm so excited! I saw a luts honey tiny delf at a meet up and fell in love! I'm so excited for him to come home although I have no idea what story he will fall into or if he will make his own but I am excited to see what he has to say! cx

yes thank you! I have many other dolls which are not BJD...but have always liked centaurs and fairies and that kind of thing. I can't wait to see and feel the resin in person, it looks so nice and I have never even seen a resin doll in person!

mine is in the pink color, regular skin tone, and I have also ordered her a carrot red wig

 

After everyone gets their orders, this forum will be flooded especially with TDF Tyltyl centaur images That is what I wait to see!

Also last night I had a nightmare where my tinytaur was literally tiny. It fit perfectly between my thumb and index finger measurement - but then again, would it really be a nightmare if it was so tiny, hmmm...

They're from Fairyland, I think they're 4 Littlefee size but they look good on pukifee or tinytaurs too

MSD (Volks Mini Super Dollfie), KDF (Luts Kid Delf), MNF (FL Minifee), and other 40-45 cm dolls (approximately) are all considered mini sized dolls.

Haha, I saw a really cool bow in Guild Wars while playing a pirate quest, I think it's called the siren bow or something like that, it had the shape of a mermaid but unfortunately it had a skull for a head, but otherwise I thought it was a neat idea so I made it with wire and Fimo for my archer. I love how you and my friend mentioned the boob thing. " Oh, his hand is at the right place. Hurr Hur!" Yes. Yes it is, it helps with his grip lol.

Did anyone see Heidi and Jack as TDF20? They look great! I wonder if and when they're going to be released. Probably some while after the Centaur event.

I just ordered a normal skin Heidi with a pink body . My Taryn (Hansel) will be happy to have company . And maybe they can swap tail and hooves for a different look. This is a old photo of my Taryn. I should take some more.

Probably around june. Or maybe late may. I suppose the ones who ordered the first day as event started get theirs sooner than the ones in the last moment

I guess I will have to wait a while since I ordered my Heidi tinytaur so late. I don't mind that much though, after dealing with certain other companies awful waiting times this will be quick in comparison .
