Hi I have a question just wondering what the normal shipping time is for the tiny delf ordered off the website. I looked in the waiting room in it varies quite a lot if I'm looking at it right. I really want a brown skin Alice with faceup any idea how long they may take to ship.

 

It definitely varies. It depends on the time of year; if an event is going on, etc. it may be 1-3 months but I would say it averages to about 1 1/2 months.

Fuzzyfeet You can also get them from Fabric Friends and Dolls...she has a brown alice with faceup in stock at the moment. I bought my Tiny Delf 20 from her and she was lovely to deal with

I second Fabric Friends and Dolls. They have good customer service, in my experience

 

I am thinking I will get a Tyltyl, I can have the head for my centaur and the Lati yellow head can use the body...oh dear, the perils of floating heads and headless bodies...I cannot have either!

 

i'd like to see how the tyltyl will look on a tiny20 body. i'm hoping it won't look too babyish, 'cause that's the combo i'm thinking of getting

 

I have bought Tyltyl for my centaur, I think if she looks babyish or not will be entirely down to the styling really...

 

I definitely agree. I mean, Luts dressed them up like babies, so they tend to look babyish in their company photos. I can't wait to see other pics!

 

i think it will depend on the faceup too. luts ships fast enough that i will probably wait till there are some owner pics out to order mine.

Well hopefully mine will not be too long. I have ordered the default faceup as it is cute...might put longer eyelashes on, have not decided yet.

I really wanted little deer tdfs - or maybe they'll do honey delf sizes? that would be cool. But most of the body is already sculpted for the tinies and I have to admit I wouldn't at all mind more little hoofies prancing around.

Luts has reused the KDF centaur body so many times now that I am sure they will also release the TDF centaur body again since it was such a huge success.

I agree! I'd love a tdf deer! You'd think they almost have to try again with how well the first batch and the kdf sized ones are doing~

 

My Miku just looks so cute in her new dress that I sewed for her. You can't see them in this picture but I got her these adorable bloomers from Etsy. It just looks so cute.

While I'm posting here about my sewing, would anyone like a dress similar to this one? I'd really like to get better at my sewing and what better way than making gifts for people. Of course it would be in Tiny Delf size. I have a variety of fabrics from left over sewing projects. Since my sewing is still mediocre at best I won't charge anything for the dress. You would just pay the shipping. (which wouldn't be much since it's so small and light.)

 

i'm still hoping for either a td deer or the pegasus. personally i'm hoping more for the deer since judging by the price of the kid delf pegasus the td one would be crazy expensive (especially since we already were complaining about the price of the tiny 'taur!) but it would be really hard to resist!

 

I would have a very hard time resisting a pegasus! I hope they will do one. There's always layaway at FF&D

 

of course ideally they would do both! all those kid delfs 'taurs need little brothers and sisters!

I need to get better at sewing. My real problem is measuring and patterns. Usually I have to end up playing the guessing game and being pleased when it works out haha.

I hope y'all don't mind me popping in here to say hi. I just managed to arrange a layaway for a tinytaur Alice on the mp and am so excited I had to share!

I was wondering though, do any of you dress them in items other than the fullset outfit? I'm wondering if I can squeeze the time to make her something dif but am slightly baffled as to what style would look best on her little centaur body.

I like the fullset outfit a lot but I did a quick search on flickr for Centaur Clothes https://www.flickr.com/search/?q=centaur clothes and you could do one on google for ideas!

 

any top you want! I have one in a kimono top on in like a sundress type top, and one if a warrior style top

 

My three bald and naked tinytaurs at least got new eyes from Oscar. Next are face-ups, blushing and wigs

 

I have a little dress mine is going to wear when I prise her out of her fullset outfit, and when she gets her proper head (Tyltyl)

 

My tinytaurs will stay naked

 

since i didn't get the fullset my 'taur is naked so far (and happily so), but she will probably get a top or two on her human parts when i get around to making her some

 

haha! thanks for all the input guys! I'm pretty sure I don't want to leave her naked so I just have to figure out what kind of 'style' I want for her I guess... also, figuring out a name would be good too. :P

Congrats CuriousRaven! The tiny delf 'taurs are my favourite 'taurs (I have 3 different sizes)
My little one is currently rocking a Hiblythe dress Hiblythe's Etsy link but the body fits really well into any shirt or short and/or loose-bottomed dress. They also look pretty cute in leg-warmers. I'm hoping to get a tutu for my girl someday too, the way her arms pose she reminds me of a ballerina

 

Congrats on becoming a 'Taur owner! Mine is called Artemis, and I am going for Ancient Grecian/Roman look for her. I got the fullset with the body and a bonus Lati head.

 

Ah, the tans are super cute. I saw a WS taur on there earlier but she's on hold so I assumed it was you!

My boy is named Cinnamon. I rarely purchase fullsets - really the only thing I did was his faceup! But I really liked the fullset and red wig with this character so it worked out for me!

Hey guys. I had a question for you. So I have a Tiny Delf Dorothy (Miku as I posted here) and I can't help but notice she is a bit hard to get to stand...I'm not sure if it's because I have her in these gigantic boots or if it's the way she is strung...Her leg joints are very...sticky? They don't move as fluidly as my MSDs. Though it might be because she's new and just needs some playing with.

From what I've seen apparently they should be easy to pose and even balance on one foot but I can't seem to get her to do that...Any suggestions? (I'm way too nervous to try and re-string her myself as I have never done that before)

 

it's probably the boots, i have a lati lea on a newer tiny delf body, and she is a perfect poser.... until i put her boots on. the boots go over her ankles, and somehow that completely messes up her standing abilities.

 

That would be my guess, too. Both my girls are from the MP and their striging is perfect. They can do one foot stands on either foot with a little fiddling. Their arms are a little stiff though. Their feet are so cute I haven't even put shoes on yet to see how that changes things.

 

Darn...I figured that might be causing it. Because I really can't see her ankle joints and they don't move much in the boots. The boots were so cuuuuuute though lol.

Oh well. This just means I have to get her different shoes. :P

 

My girl has boots from Luts and can stand in them. It takes a bit of fiddling to get her balanced sometimes, though.

 

Oh, she can stand in them it just takes some wiggling and moving. I just remember reading that the Tiny Delfs were really easy to pose and I've been struggling with mine.
