Luts Senior Delf Discussion Part IV

My Laila girl got a new style! Working on a permanent character for her and everything, but for now at least here's a pic of her new style:



(eta: please don't mind the ghost dolly head reflection lmao her girlfriend wanted to be part of the pic but I didn't want to balance both of them at the same time on.. okay, it's a television, she's literally balancing on top of a flat-screen TV lmao. Have I mentioned how much I love the posing on this girl lately?)

I can finally share Colette in her full glory (complete with dolly photobomb) now that she has her Fairyland body. This girl is the love of my freaking life but, damn, she was a lot of work to put together.>_o

@reitsuki Colette's outfit was made by AyuAna on Etsy. All of their outfits are one of a kind, unfortunately. However, they periodically make similar outfits (for example, I have a lavender tutu-corset dress from them, too), and I think they may also accept commissions. Their stuff is a little pricey, but totally worth the cost.

Hi all! I think all of your Senior Delfs look amazing! I have a quick question. I'm looking at a Senior Delf boy, and I don't understand the differences in the male body types. Are all of the differences cosmetic (different level of muscle definition) or are there significant differences in the male body types? Thanks!

 

@bananapudding The Type 1 is single jointed and has no mobility joint in the thigh, but Types 3-4 I think are all double-jointed and are cosmetically different more than jointed differently.

Thought I'd revive this thread with a pic of my girl I really want more Luts dolls -- I just have my Laila right now -- they're so beautiful and they pose so beautifully!! I love this girl so much. Pic is a little old -- I have some new ones but I need to edit them, so these are from before my recent move. Still pretty.

Thank you very much! Unfortunately, I cannot help you in search of doll sized glasses, as that one and a couple of others were given to me and I was told they were random finds. I'd love to fine more myself!

Trying to make it possible for Kana to wear the top-most dress (the back won't shut all the way). I actually like this effect, might look into getting her a colored long dress for the under layer.

 

Hi, guys! I am a new owner to the thread! I have a Winter 15 head named Darche (with modded elf ears) and a Forgotten Story Uriel open eyed head named Eion, both on hybrid bodies. I don't have many pics of Eion yet as he really needs to be restrung badly and is super floppy and won't do anything I say, but Darche has had many loving photographs taken of him thus far.

Kana got a new dress, perfect to show off how much of a princess she is!

 

So I have about four dolls that are going to be in my doll family and the one from Luts is the Senior Delf Sherard version two. now i looked up the measurements for an sd13 doll for one of my other dollfies on my wishlist and i saw the cutoff point for boys is 60cm and the Senior Delf doll is 62.5cm or 24.5 inches so is he able to wear SD13 clothes? since he's only two inches/centimeters taller?

 

2.5 cm is .9 inches so I don't think it will be much of a streach. I would thing they would fit.

 

SD13 should fit on occassion, pants might be a touch short but i don't really find that an issue until you deviate up 65 cm.

Hi everyone! I'm new to Luts dolls and have a quick question about a Senior Delf Girl!
I've fallen in love with the Harmony head, and see that Luts offers her as a full doll on the Senior Delf body or in Luts My Choice (either Senior Delf or Delf girl bodies), but does Luts sell just the heads anywhere? When I click on the Option Parts tab on the sidebar, I see bodies, hands, and feet offered, but no heads.
Is buying the full doll the only way I can get a Harmony head, other than the secondhand market?

Luts doesn't sell the heads separately. They occasionally have an event head, but I don't remember it ever being one of their standard sculpts. You'll have to find it on the secondary market, or find a split partner who may want to take the body.

They did run an event once, in 2015, where you were allowed to buy heads separately, so perhaps they'll do that again one day! That's not a definite, but maybe if you ask nicely on their message board they'll see there's interest in doing that again.

Hi I was just wondering if anybody have the type 4 girl body?

Wanting to get a really large busted girl goes all the way back to when Dollmore released the first Glamor Model Doll Girls. But I've been a bit shy about ordering a big busted girl

So I was wondering if anyone here have a type 4 body, and what you think of it?

 

I got a new outfit from Souldoll today and put my SDF Howl in it. It's not actually for him, but the boy it's meant for isn't here yet so he gets to look fancy in the meantime

I had to reinforce the eyebrows - they were a bit pale/faint when I got him.

 

UGH I knew I missed out and would have regret. Darn you for selling him to not me! ;P But thank you for the picture! He really is lovely~ I've begged luts a lot to re-release him -sigh-

Yeah, since it is the same company and relatively same size range, heads does not matter as much as bodies, as the bodies vary in function, sort of.

 

@Fate I was the one lucky enough to purchase the head from @Yumeiro - and he's still one of my absolutely favourite dolls.

(For what it's worth, he predominantly pops up in the New Delf thread not so much because he's on a type 4 Delf body, but because he's usually photographed with an Aragorn. )

Does anyone have any hybrids? I'll be getting my hands on Luts senior delf summer 2016 event head, so curious to see some different bodies that have been used.
