Luts' payment options?

Hmmm. I bought a few wigs and shoes from Luts about a week or so ago, and I believe their Customer guide is outdated, because they now have a secure online from like all other big companies do - where you fill out the type of card, expiry date, card number, cardholder name - stuff like that.

And after, you just click "submit" and they confirm you order in a couple of days.

About the Visa thing - I bought with Visa. The pop-ups that they mean are simply extra precautions on the side of your bank - like, you have to enter the security number on the back of the card and verify that it's really you. It only takes a couple of minutes to fill out, and then your order form is processed.

That's what I know, anyways. I'm not sure if this situation is different when you order dolls.

BTW, Abadon is a gorgeous boy. I hope to own one some day. = )

 

Oh, this thread is perfect! I'd actually rather go with PayPal, because I am very familiar with using it, but while I know some bjd sites use it, but I thought Luts only uses credit card and wire transfer. Is PayPal an option if you proceed with the credit card payment? Thanks!

Yes, thank-you, I hadn't even checked under there because I really hadn't been interested in a wire transfer, this makes my life much easier.

If you're using credit card, be aware that you will be charged foreign transaction fee or currency conversion fees by your financial institute. I'd say Paypal is the way to go if you want to avoid paying fees. Just pay with your credit card through Paypal instead.

Luts does take Paypal and it is easier to use.

 

How does the luts paypal option work? I'm only seeing wire transfer and credit card. Wire transfers are a pain, and their credit card site is not marked secure. I'd prefer to use paypal.

Then you will see the selection of bank wire transfer and paypal option on the botton of page. Please choose paypal.

Remember given paypal account address because we have several accounts and it is given by randomly.


Access your paypal account and send money to the given paypal address of LUTS.
Don’t forget to write your ORDER NUMBER on paypal note. It will help us to handle your order with speed and exact process. (without order number, sometimes we can not find your order. It happens quite often...)

 

From what I've read on other threads wire transfer is considered to be the same as paypal,or a paypal option comes up or something of the sort.

 

The paypal option comes up on the second page (the one after you put in your address) when you select wire transfer. Be sure to copy down your order number and the paypal address they give you so you can plug them into paypal when you pay them. It's a bit fiddly, but not too horribly difficult. I just paid, so we'll see how it goes!

 

Oh boy,now I'm a bit worried.
Will they be sending a quote to my paypal,or will I have to send them direct cash with the non cc?

^_^ Don't worry DarkNeko, it really is simple! Just follow the instructions they give, I edited my post a bit further up with the instructions from their F&A board. It seems difficult, but just follow along as you're doing the order.

You know that little bar on the right side of the paypal page under the send money thing?And I can leave a note with my order number?

Yep! You're sending them the money with however you want to pay through paypal. And I think that little bar is the same thing. You get two fields in paypal before sending money a "subject" and a "comment" or something very similar. I put my order number in both of them just to be sure.

Since you guys have used luts before can I ask, How much do they charge for shipping (roughly) to the US? I want to order a KidDelf, but I don't know how much they'll charge for shipping. Sorry for the (probably) dumb question, but I'm not good with fourms really.

 

I just made an order for a SSDF Flood and a wig, and my shipping came out to ~$70. It might be a little less for a kid delf, because they're smaller/lighter, etc.

So, to confirm on the paypal thing:

The paypal address they give me with my order confirmation is the one I'm supposed to use? They don't send a separate email or anything?

These are silly questions, but when you're dropping this much money on something, it's nice to have a sense of security.

 

When I ordered my shiwoo they sent me a comfirmation email and it has an email address in it of where to send the payment.

It's very easy and fast,but be sure to put your order number as your title and add it to your comment.

Payment is comfirmed monday thru friday,so they'll get your payment on monday! ^_^
