Thank you! I was only brave enough to try again because my friend was having such good outcomes with the Rit Dyemore. But boy I was still so nervous oxo

To be honest the Abadon was a whim purchase and the original plan didn't work out for him. So I just randomly looked at my partner and said "Let's dye him grey!" And then he was gorgeous lol

And then we were GENIUSES and started dyeing him at night and had to stay up til 5am to get him finished.

Next dye job gonna get started at like 10am I swear X'D

 

Anyone have any updated pics of some model delfs? I really need to snap a picture of my boy Prophet (Cian in brown skin.) He has a new wig and It makes me haaaapppppppy as a clam

Thank you! ^^ Ironically, his original character for the sculpt changed and I was going to sell him before I tried some new clothes and wig/eyes on him. Made a whole new character and I really enjoy him this way. Seems to suit him really well!

 

It's funny how that happens! I've often had dolls pre-planned and then they end up being opposite of what I had wanted. xD

 

Finally finished (i think) the front of Archer's tattoos. Now he just needs his back piece, a wig and some horns. He's on the "old" body.

Thanks very much! hehe I can't wait either, I'm not certain what his final look will be- if it weren't for the fact that I feelit's out of chracter I'd be tempted to say forget it and just leave him bald!

 

Lol I can't lie - I have completed a faceup and have been like that before. "Awww. But they look so good bald. Let's just leave them like that. X3"

 

Hah, yeah. His head is pretty big so it's tempting but I think I can find a wig that isn't too poofy. He's about a size 7-8 instead of the usual 6-7 of most minis these days, so when I saw this big buff body I knew it was the perfect fit for him. He's a Seed Dolls Peabody head.

 

I was wondering what head he was! I am like "... I am usually better at picking them out.. but he escapes me." Lol
But yes. I agree the body works great for him.

I haven't posted here in ages, but I finally gave my Avalanche (old body) some love. He's cosplaying Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians.

How did you end up making the staff for him? ouo

 

Thanks! I had an 18-inch length of wire already wrapped in paper tape (it was probably florist's wire). I bent it to shape and covered it with a mixture of brown and silver polymer clay, then carved some bark texture lightly with a small pointed wooden tool, brushed on a bit of PearlEx pigment in a sparkly white (to simulate ice) and finally baked it according to directions. I wish I had used a little less clay. The staff came out thicker than I wanted and it's hard for him to hold. But I'm glad you like it!

 

I think it looks really great! You really did a fantastic job on it. ^^

 

Hi! I'm waiting for Carmine in normal skin which I ordered him on kid delf body because I want to find clothes for him easily (and I think his face is not too mature for a kid body right?) Now I only have SDs and I'm so excited to have this small guy in my house soon!

 

I fixed Jack Frost's wig so that it fits better. Here's a new photo:

 

I really prefer the model delf body! I got one for my KDF Irus head. Though the KDF heads on the male bodies are a lot weirder to look at since the 'slim' is still VERY BUFF. But my girl gets away with it even if its a bit bobbleheaded, lol.

 

Yay, I can finally play in this playground! (I have an MDF Bory head on a Soulkid body and the Soulkid head on the MDF body! Two boys for the price of one!)

Model Delf - BOY New Type3 Slender

There’s a new slim body. I think the limited models (with kid delf heads) also come with this new slim body. Does anyone just want the body because I kind of want that elf Bory head in brown skin lol.

Also interested to seeing more pictures of MDF Diez, he looks handsome!

 

I love the look of the new body! It is my most favorite out of all MDF bodies.

 

Model Kid Delf BORY Romance Elf ver. Limited

This is the limited elf Bory with the new body.

The new body is great and my fav out of all the MDF bodies but I just prefer kid delf heads on kid delf bodies because otherwise it just looks a bit disproportionate to me.

Hope more people order dolls with the new MDF body!

Also are there more MDF out there on KDF body? Would love to see more reference pictures!

 

Has anyone swapped a male MDF head onto a female MDF body, or would anyone be so kind to swap theirs for me? I am a bit seduced by the fantasy resins.. A lot of the male sculpts would make for very mature ladies, but I can't tell if the neck size is too big (male mdf bodies have an array of neck sizes from 7.2 to 8.2, and the girl's are 6.5... but maybe it could still work?)

(Not sure if LUTs would allow a headswap upon request though..)

 

Earlier this year I received my kid delf Yuz on a model delf body. I'm so glad I waited so long to get my doll because the model delf body matches the character so much more than a kid delf's would. XD I don't find that it looks disproportionate at all, but maybe that's just Yuz. O.o


Question though, do normal MSD shoes fit on MDF or are they too big?

 

I'm thinking of buying heel legs for my Lazuli. Does anyone know if they come with replacement string? I would expect the string to be shorter than the one that comes with the flat foot version because the legs connect at the knee instead of at the ankle. I don't want to cut her existing string in case I want to go back to the flat feet later. And if I have to buy string separately, does anyone know what size? Is it 2 mm or 1.5 mm?

 

You could just retie the elastic shorter without cutting it.

Does anyone know how Abadon looks next to a regular msd girl (with the typical larger head)? I see his head is around 6-7, and the girl I'm wanting to pair with is a Doll Leaves Betty, and the stats on Alice Collections says her head is 18.?cm. Do you think that is too big a difference to look good together? I have neither doll right now. I'm trying to plan ahead first.

 

Hi all, I've wanted a mature mini for years and I'm seriously considering a model Delf (Diez, to be specific)... but before I take the plunge I wanted to ask: how easy are they to dress? Will they fit clothes for any "slim mini" or are there specific companies that have similar dolls?

Ah! Thank you so much, it really helps to have the links all in one place. Yeah, I'd be getting the slender body. The others just have too much muscle for me.

 

It used to be you could depend on Luts to make or sell clothing to fit Model Delf male bodies, but I recently ordered pants, a tee shirt and a denim jacket for my original muscle type 2 body boys and of the 3 items, only the denim jacket fits. The tee shirt didn't go over the shoulders and the pants wouldn't go up past the MDF knees. I suspect they've resized their clothing to fit the new bodies. Those of us who have the original muscle bodies have been left up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

 

I'm having trouble finding pants for my new MDF...I really don't want to pay EMS shipping for just a pair of pants from Luts directly. Does anyone know where the pants come from (like how some of their clothes come from treedesign)? Or any ideas on where to get pants?

Also, do MSD shoes fit them or are they too big, anyone know?

 

@xyuemoto I actually have a girl body, but some pants I bought don't fit right. You may be right about the company sizes not being the same on the nine9style/treedesign website, and if so that sucks. I'm not even sure if the pants on Luts will fit a girl or if they're only for males. I'm confused about most sizing because I have mainly SDs and YoSDs, lol

Sorry I didn't specify which body I had, completely slipped my mind.

 

It's okay, it was my fault for not stating. Maybe I just got a one off pair of pants that don't fit and others will be fine, lol. Like I said before I don't have much reference for MSDs so I may just be having a blond moment. Thank you for your reply though! I appreciate it.
