As for the sewing links, thank you! I did find a cute dress in there I want to try. Sadly nothing that I think would be ok for my boy. I'm sure I know the answer to his but i have a pattern for a minifee shirt, would that fit him? I really doubt it. Should I just look for regular MSD stuff? I found a few patterns but they all said for 43 ish cm dolls, and he is 45 so I don't think those would work. I am still pretty inexperienced at sewing though so I could be wrong. @lividdarkangel I have Avalanche on the slender body and as long as it's long enough and not made for slim minis (aka minifee size) he can usually wear it. Very skintight clothes for MSD are out of question as those are too small unless they stretch, but slightly baggy clothes fit fine.

 

Oh he can wear regular msd stuff? That's great to hear! Do you find it difficult to find things that are long enough?

 

His body isn't much bigger than for example Dollzone's boy body, arms and legs are little bit longer so with a lot of pants they leave ankles bare. That doesn't bother me personally since my boy wears boots all the time. Same deal with long sleeves, they are just a little bit short on long sleeved ones, but if you have them wear tank tops or t-shirts or looks fine.

I actually own one pair of pants bought from Luts that is specifically made for model Delf size and comparing it to other long pants I have it seems that they're about 1cm longer than all the other MSD size bottoms I have. Exception with pants in JID size, they're as long, maybe even few millimeters longer but a lot wider.

I have the slender Model Delf body and have found a few things that fit! My guy is currently wearing TTYA clothes. Their jeans fit perfectly. He can also wear most Iplehouse JiD clothes.

I put Larimar into a Glitter Girl bathing suit! It works really well, I promptly bought the the two other swim sets as well

Two new model delfs have been teased on Luts’ twitter. I wonder if they’ll have some kind of fantasy version.

 

I guess they'll get the usual romantic eyes + possibly elf ears or other fantasy creature treatment unless they ran out of time like they did back when Breeze and Maria were released and push them back to the next event. I'm kind of two conflicting opinions about Citrine and Topaz; glad that they're not on the new gigantic mdf51 body since I was already preparing to be disappointed about that but kind of disappointed since it's two girls instead and I'm not a huge fan of either's face.

On the other hand, glad to be safe from another event, makes saving up easier.

 

I think Citrine (Citrine? The one in white) is really cute, but I might just be thinking that because I imprinted hard on Kiwi Romance and she has a similar mouth/expression.

Anyway this is just me tinfoil hatting but the shape of that skirt's a little suspicious. Maybe she's a centaur.

 

Looks like Citrine and Topaz have been added to Luts site now, sadly no centaur parts, just a big dress on both. No special version of either yet(?), though I guess the regular ones go up for sale tomorrow so they still could add those later today/tomorrow. Or this is the new model Delf trend: they add normal version in the summer event and special one in the winter? That'd be less work for the sculptors and allow more time spend on the more popular sizes like kids and seniors. I just feel like MDF isn't a very popular size. (Though of course I could be completely wrong about that and I just haven't realized it's more popular than I thought.)

Edited to add: just realized that they're both marked as limited too. The sales period is marked as "2023. 07. 10 (Mon) 11:00 ~ 2023. 08. 11 (Fri) 17:00 (KST)" so it seems that they won't be available for too long and not at all after the event. O_ô

 

Yay. They look cute but luckily I am safe from Topaz. I am so glad Luts posts blank pictures of their sculpts .

 

I always look forward to mdf releases, none grab me this time.

Also I thought this event is the last one to order in any of their fantasy color, but I don't see all of them in the skin color choice.

So, did anyone by chance end up getting a MDF51 boy or just the head and might be able to check how their heads fit on kdf45/kdf bodies? I love these head sculpts but I'm not into these beefy bodies with tiny heads and they even seem big on the standard MDF bodies

Anyone by chance has a (Lavender) MDF Carrot Elf and can show me pictures? I have a blank one and just can't decide on a faceup...

 

I just asked luts on how long I have to wait for my doll. It'll only come around Nov-Dec... I haven't a doll in years! I didn't realised it'll take this long hahah. Did anyone waited for almost 4-5 months for it?

 

That doesn't seem too unreasonable! They were shipping nude dolls in three months earlier this year, but with higher order volume from the summer sale + if you ordered a face-up, it's not surprising that timeline's been drawn out some.

Wow! I might have to spring for the MDF51. I have a DV that's 51 and I love the height, but for me the proportions are a little wonky. But the MDF51...

 

Does anyone own the new version girl body with the smallest chest? I would love to see it from the side if possible

Good news I just received an email that Luts has shipped my Topaz DD How exciting!! That was pretty fast!

 

My Maneul came but I won't have a chance to set him up til later this week.
First impression is this sculpt is one of my favorites, he's so sweet!

 

Ohh this is so exciting, when you get a chance to set him up I would love to know what size eyes you used for that sculpt

 

She's here! I'm shocked at how small her head is. But the body is really sturdy!

So happy to see some model delfs in the winter event! I saw them on the luts Instagram account and they both looked so good, I always love the romance versions of their heads! Can't tell if they're regular mdf or the new one but hoping they're regular lol. I hope mdf gets some more love during the event, I'd love to see some more outfits for them.

It's the season for interesting hybrid thoughts... was wondering if anyone has both a girl and a boy MDF and wouldn't mind putting swapping the heads? I'd love to see how a male sculpt looks like on the girl MDF body

 

I just ordered my first mdf,Lapis he will be Jaskier from the witcher(already got a Geralt,IH fid Rex) so exited!

 

I'm looking for a male doll to add to my collection and thus far I'm considering an MDF Lapis but I'm unsure about the resin color and body type. Do any of you have pictures of Luts' different resins as well as their different male bodies? Any recommendations or things I should be aware of?

Maybe odd opinion but I'd like the elf version with the normal face instead of the romance one better. I guess I'm just getting tired of that expression since they use it for every limited doll these days. :/

 

They revealed another model delf, a boy called Antimon. He's 51cm tall so uses that bulky bigger body.

 

Luts needs to stop hitting it out of the park. My wish list just keeps getting longer...

 

Hello! I'm looking at ordering my second MDF girl (Carnelian is just perfect for a character I want) and getting her direct from Luts this time. However, I'm looking at the options and there's one for "Basic Legs." I have no idea what this means, and I'm afraid to order incorrectly for what I want. Can anyone help me?

 

If you pick first option in the first drop-down (option that does not say heel legs ver.) the doll will come strung with basic legs (flat feet, not heeled). If you want to add on heeled legs, there's a separate page for them.

If you pick the second option in body type (heeled legs ver.), the doll will come strung with heeled legs. If you choose to add on basic legs too, then basic legs will be included in the box that you can switch to later.

There's no separate listing for basic legs, but the heeled legs do have a separate listing. So it's a way to have the doll come strung with heeled legs but still be able to get the basic legs as an optional add-on if you want them.

 

Perfect! That's what I thought, I was just anxious because I don't remember that being a question when I ordered my Jean back in 2019/2020. I can go ahead and order her then, woohoo! Thank you so much!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had pictures of Model Delf TERRA Romance ver. Limited? I am really in love with the romance ver of Terra. I saw him on sale on Denver Doll Emporium a while ago and should have grabbed him when I got the chance. I would really love to see some owner pictures if there are any.

 

I sort of made a pattern for a bustier for the MDF Small Boobs and i'm glad it came out ok!!

 

anyone planning to grab heads from mdf or mdf51 lines in this event?

I wonder if mdf and mdf51 heads will be save or if any will be on the chopping block. Especially the 51 line... is it popular? I don't really like taller dolls but curious to put mdf51 on normal mdf body.

 

If they’d released Vampire Lazuli I would have bought her (and a body) in a heartbeat!!! Sadly, she isn’t included by the look of it.

 

Question for model delf owners - do you guys have anywhere that you buy more ornate costumes (IE: royal uniforms) for this particular size, or would MSD still eke out okay?

 

@urahara I'm sorry I can't help you on royal costumes. I don't have many clothes/pants for my mdf boy and he is on the old discontinued body as well.
