Hiya KDF thread! I swore off MSD's and then Minifee's broke me. But... there was always one head from the KDF line I couldn't stop thinking about. The 2012 Winter Event head, aka Elf Kiwi. I got one from a friend in a trade and then got her a Minifee aline body. And now that she's finally all put together and not borrowing some other doll's body I thought I would share my darling, Kitt.



Also, sorry I've become a bit over addicted to instagram filters. >.>

 

All the Wintery '12 love makes me wish my girl wasn't packed up! You guys' girls look so great, I really love that sculpt!

Did I miss something???? Have you guys seen this photo displayed on this wig sale thread??? Are KDFs getting new hands???

Edit: Never mind... just realized it was the MDF body... :/

 

duskblue, I clicked that link and was blown away by the cute doll, and of course it's Hodoo! XD I feel so silly, being all "WHO IS THAT OMG" with a doll I already own. n__n;; Though mine is the elf one, it's really no excuse.

Edited to add: I guess that means KDF / MDF hybrids are a go? I might be tempted to try that one!

 

Lolita, they have the "KDF/MDF mychoice" options up now, I believe

 

I see they finally put Corni and Lio on the My Choice..YAY! $40 extra looks like..hmmm I may have to get one and then swap the heads on the bodies. like get one of the basic heads in the same color as the Lio and Corni I already have on order then swap them...now to decide who to get. I don't see it listed anywhere but do they always have the My choice or is this only for a limited time? Hmm actually on second thought if I'm going to do that I think I might just get the regular versions of MDF..though I would like to get another animal head doll I think I'll wait to see if they come out with any new ones in the future.

 

oh gosh i want a KDF + MDF body ..... but i cant decide on a sculpt! i love so many of them~ can i request some mature-ish looking gals please?

the model type bodies are the same size as the kid type right? they are just more expensive 'cause you can choose all the options?

 

auntbear, I think they're generally the same size, however not all clothes will fit the same depending on if it is tight fitted. I think the proportions are a little different in different areas due to the MDF body being more mature. I imagine they're skinnier in some places and wider in some other areas.

 

This is definitely looking into. OwO Not that I have money, but it's nice to know what's out there! I guess I can always buy an MDF body separately to see if I like it for a current floater and if not I can just grab another head~ So many options, and I want them all!

Rebbits: your girl's face up is amazing!! Much better than I thought. I'm guessing it's done by Luts? love the purple tones to her!

Kat looks lovely in that sweater, Aliyahbetd! RSB photographs very nicely - I'm glad that I made the right choice getting it for my upcoming boy.
