Luts Kid Delf Discussion part 11

The Luts My Choice allows you to choose which head/body you want. They already have it for the larger dolls.
So, it will be possible to get a KDF head on a MDF body and vice versa.

 

wonder if they will put the centaur bodies in it? or not because they were limited?

kitty blue a little late answering your question but here is my bory with a 6cm and a 5cm evethe cat so you can see how the two sizes look for scale. personally i like the larger (6cm gray) if you only have the bigger dolls. but the 5cm is nice if you have tinies as well since it works better with the little dolls.

Ooh. Having a My Choice option for MDF and KDF sounds pretty great. I definitely want a MDF girl, but I'm completely uninterested in Annette and Blanchet, so that might give me some better options.

 

Hey guys, I was just wondering what your opinions are about a Elf Berry/Jamong Human ver. Moonlight in RSB is with the Elf Type 1 face up. I can't decide on whether I should go with RSB or RSN. They both look extremely cute!

Anyone perhaps have pictures of their KDFs in RSB or RSN?

Just got my Corni boy yesterday, and thought I'd post a couple of quick pic's of him.
Sorry about the quality, it was pretty late at night before I really had a chance to play with him, so the lighting wasn't the greatest.

Anyway, he and Lue seemed to hit it off pretty well, so it looks like Lue has a new pet...err, friend. ^_~





Lol, His wig isn't the look or style I was originally going for, but it seems to be the one he likes the best.
Plus, I like the fact that you can see his pretty eyes, and the bangs don't tend to get caught in his eyelashes as bad.
I'd hate for his eyelashes to get all messed up, they're so cool looking with the different color lashes!

He is supposed to be a fox demon, but I may have to find him some larger more fox like ears. ^_^

 

Honestly JRyu, with that hair, skin color, and shirt combination, your Corni reminds me of Michael Jackson. Thriller/Beat It era Michael Jackson.

Yep! That's face-up A. ^_^
I chose it because I really like dark, smokey, dramatic eye make up, even on my boys, plus I liked the combination of colors used.
However, I think it must be either the tan skin version of face-up A, or the boy's version, because there doesn't appear to be any purple used on the upper lid.
Instead, the same grey color that is below his eyes has been used very faintly on his upper lids, with a bit of what seems to be gloss applied just above the eyeliner.
The black and white line detailing looks to be the same as in the pictures of choice A.
I think his eye make-up still looks gorgeous, even without the purple.
Besides, now I have a reason to order one in a paler skin tone, lol. ^_~

Seriously though, I have to say I had the same reaction myself this morning, when I looked at the photos I had taken, and wondered if anyone else would as well. ^_^
His shirt being the same color as the jacket in Thriller never consciously occurred to me, although I'm sure it added to the Michael Jackson resemblance subconsciously. ^_~

I ordered faceup A too i was really taken with it. I ordered corni with normal skin, i hope i like it ><! lately ive been wondering if i should have gotten white skin but i think normal skin will fit her character/style i have in mind better. in any event i cant wait for them to release a limited or some other style corni and leo because i really want an excuse to buy another corni in a tan color X3

 

Well, MJ was a total cutie pie in Thriller, so I think you're good Honestly, though, he looks great as a boy. Very adorable!

 

Fffff. Guys! Someone responded to my WTB thread for a Dollpamm Momo!!! I am so excited. I think she is smaller than a Mini size doll. She is technically a tiny but yeah! I know this is not related to LUTS but I am so excited for her. I should have her on Saturday hopefully.

And I have exciting news: my tan (real skin brown) Bory Zeus with the claw legs arrives together with a body for my girl Yul. These are such lovely dolls! I like the bodies - and I love the tan (my first tan doll!) I am happy!!!!

Well I placed an order with FF&D for Berry and Jamong with elf heads on Pegasus bodies. I'm excited to get them! I just seem to have an ever growing herd lol but I can't wait to see them with my Sayters!

 

Serein and xbabymia - I have made a few pictures of my Bory Zeus for you. I ordered him blanc, in real brown skin and with his fantasy legs and extra hands, but not those for the lightning flash. Which mean I only have a nude doll to show you now. For Yul (who´s head I got by chance) I bought a Romance girl body - as white as her head is though you won't say that with her face-up. I will change that face-up sometime in the next year or so.
My plans for this duo - Zeus is a hunter - he will receive a bow & arrow and a greenish/ brown outfit like the one the original Zeus wears. Yul is his deer prey. I do not know about her outfit yet. As this is mythology, this hunt shall last forever

On the posing: Zeus can stand on 1 leg, has nice posability in the thigh-joint, body and arms. The head moves well up, not so much down. He can stand and sit well and he can squat - even with one leg stretched (see picture). And he is tall! (See picture of him standing next to Yul on the Romance body). The real skin brown is a lovely tan, no orange at all, very much a mocha colour.
Negative: the elastic could be thicker - and there are seamlines (sorry, Resinsoul has cheaper dolls in all colours and no seamlines).
I like the huge fantasy legs/claws

The romance body feels nice and solid/sturdy (I like that), but it is not big - an elegant poser, only she can look down very well, but hardly up? Does anyone know if this body is suppose to be able to stand on one leg?

 

Wow, he's incredible! The fantasy legs are super awesome. I really like the story you've got going on for them. My Yul can't look down very well either on the type 2 body.

And I took my Yul out of her box yesterday and for a moment I really considered taking her sales page down. Her sweet little face made me feel so guilty so I may end up keeping her, lol

 

She is sweet. Have you tried a face-up on her, or does she have the company face-up? It helps me to paint them a couple of times. My Yul can look down, just not up -and she needs to with that huge Zeus in front of her. I have given him a donut in his head and that helps with him now being able to look down better. For her that won't help.

Ohh - I just found out that my Viscount Woods head looks amazing on this body. So when Luts ever has a fantasy kdf with body like Zeus (2 fantasy legs, predatory) - hopefully with claw hands and wings... I will be game - in normal skin this time

And if it ever stops raining Zeus will get a face-up!

 

Oops I meant up! xD My Yul has the human faceup from Luts and it's very beautiful. But I'm worried that even with a faceup and new clothes, I still won't bond with her and I'll be out of a lot of money. Gahh dolls are so difficult!

 

so I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Pegasus Jamong a couple days ago. She'll look so cute with my Borytaurs!

I only have the normal kid body but no problems posing my girl on one foot.

 

I've held all three girl bodies in my hands and the only one I've gotten to pose on 1 foot is the type 1 small chested body. Though both of my romantic bodies are a little "off" in the stringing, and the mutli body I held for a VERY brief moment, was not wearing shoes. I suspect she could stand on one foot if her feet were completely flat . The multi-body is the most sturdy body out of all three.

indigoparaflax, those piercings (?) give your girl so much character. I love it!

Serein, it might help if you sit down and stare at her while trying to think of a story or personality that really resonates with you for her while you wait for bites on your sale. That's how I ended up bonding with my first doll. Ultimately you have to do what makes you truly happy though. That's what this hobby is about!!

Cyador, that's an adorable concept! Poor Zeus, always hunting but never catching fast little Yul~. Your Zeus looks really cool in RSB and I really love that first picture you showed of his posing. Congratulations on getting him!

catw07, that's so exciting~. Did you get her with one of the faceups?

 

Have you all seen the new Type 3 girl body? I don't really like the way the joints look.

 

It's probably because they're all single jointed joints. I think the boobs look too together as well. It's possible to make them look like they're in a bra without making them look so... odd. But then when I look at the multi body the boobs look very similar but it seems to flow better with that joint than the mid joint. Strange.

hmmmm yea those boobs are really offputting somehow. i think the multibody boobs are really nice-- they have cleavage without looking deformed out of clothes lol. i think the next girl body i get from luts may be one of the new model delf girls that are coming out-- depending on how those look.

Lol, the boobs do look pretty wonky. But they look like the ones on the type 2 body just the joint at the waist instead of under the bust so idk. The body is not my favorite.

Hello again, Kid Delf thread! Long time no see, what has Luts been up to with all these fantasy creatures?! It's so amazing, I've enjoyed looking at everyone's pretty fantasy dolls! *o* I may have to get my hands on one of those centaurs; they're amazing!

question on wig sizes...anyone who already has the Lio and Corni, I know the site says 19cm for head can someone verify this..I want to get a few Monique wigs and want to make sure I get the right size since they are a little pricey..from 19cm I'm guessing 7-8??. thanks ahead of time.

 

Hey all. long time no see! I lost a lot of inspiration for my Darae, Lucy, over the past few months... Giving her a new faceup and taking her for a quick photoshoot with some wildflowers reignited the spark though! Waiting anxiously for my DC Bella who should be arriving any day now.

 

I go through this, too! I am, however thinking that new clothes will happen before new face-ups, as it's waaay too humid here to think about spray sealing. Her new freckles look amazing! She looks very at home outside.

Awwww, she's so precious with those freckles! My girls were originally supposed to have freckles, but I just don't have the patience to make them look right! I love Lucy's purple eyes, are they urethanes or acrylics? They really seem to catch the light well!

 

@EriChanHime Thank you so much! Giving your doll something new, like a new outfit, can be really inspiring and remind you why you love dolls in the first place. Lucy loves the outdoors; we have a large forest right across the street, about 40 acres. Wildflowers are everywhere and there are all sorts of sunny nooks and crannies to take pictures in. It's such a treat having something like that so close!

@Aine-Rosalie Thank you!! Her eyes are purple urethane Mako Eyes. They're very reasonably priced, at about $25 per pair. I have two pairs! I highly recommend them.

 

I haven't been around for a while, so I would like to spam with some of my boy Yul. He's a bit of a bad boy. I'm waiting for my elf Berry to arrive!

I'm getting ready to welcome my own boy, my first KDF-size boy in fact! He won't have a body for a bit because I'm broke, but I'll finally have at least part of a Borytaur.
