Luts Kid Delf Discussion part 10!

Finally back with a group photo...still need wigs and faceups but here they are: (oops forgot to put on the horns/antlers)

 

they are gorgeous even without faceups. luts did such a nice job with looks/proportions of those bodies!

 

yes they did, though the boy head for some reason seems to look smaller, therefore more young looking than the girl..still they are gorgeous and I'm so happy I got them..though now I have a extra pair of legs for each laying around because I was going to hybrid the centaur bodies and possible keep these two on human legs. aw well I guess that is an option I have if I want them to be human at some point.

I got her in the mail this morning from my friend. Autumn is finally here. I'll take pictures when she is properly dressed and wigged. Ahhhh this is so exciting.

TP just mailed me that they have placed the order for the (human) body of my Yul (I got a head last week) and I found & bought the antlers today Now it is waiting for the day Lust comes with some satyrs (human body with (2) hooved legs) and then she'll be perfect!

 

thank you...having some difficulties with taking photos of the black resin, when I put them on a white background she blends in too much..lol..might have to choose a red backdrop next time. I have the same problem with my dollmore black resin catish girl. At least with the Satyros its only the lower part of the body..still trying to figure out how the heck I'm going to blush the black resin.

Thanks! I am super happy with her. She's just so amazing to me ;u; Can't wait to do a forest shoot with her soon. Just gotta' wait 'til I'm not busy and the weather is right (not-windy, slightly overcast, and dry would be great.).

Kitty Blue, they look so good together! I didn't realize the boy was ever so slightly taller than the girl, its such a cute feature. Also, that black resin is really stunning.

I so love my Yul. I've settled on the name Wisp. It might change later, but it might not. We'll see if she likes it. Here she is with Abigail. She's giving out pony rides! Only to people she loves! Hahhaa.

Omg i saw in their FB a teaser pic for a zuzu kid delf and its sooo pretty, its a cornie and the outfit, wig etc look so good, i hope the full set are not much expensibe.

 

Oh god, a new era of terror! Please just be the one girl, because if they start transforming all their zuzus into KDs, god help us…@,@ Imagine Frise KD…just no, please no...

 

I finally got to take Autumn outside today. Here she is. I photoshopped her eyes blue because that's what they will be in the future. Right now they are a plain brown, but soon! Blue!

 

Mmmmmm. Personally I'm not really a big fan of the "Kid Zuzu Delf". I like the idea of an MSD-sized anthro, but I dislike the face. It reminds me of Dollmore's Catish dolls, which I personally think aren't animalistic enough at that scale to be aesthetically pleasing. I'm also disappointed that they chose Corni, a cat, to be their first MSD-sized Zuzu Delf. Every single MSD-sized anthro that I know of on the market is a cat. I'd much rather see some other animal - even if it's just a dog or a rabbit - in this size instead.

The one good thing is that wig they've got in the promo pic is beautiful. I want it.

 

I really hope the Zuzu KDF isn't limited. I made an audible gasp when I saw it! I love it so much >&#969;< It reminds me a lot of Dear Mine's dolls, which I've always wanted one of ^^

 

Oh man... KDF Zuzus!! I might be really really really doomed!!

 

I guess I just meant that this may open the door to other MSD sized ZuZu that we might actually like, because while she isn't my type, if they do a boy of Frise, or maybe a boy of Wolffy...I would die with how much I would need that doll...die. So, yeah, Corni, not really my thing, won't get her, but a boy Kid ZuZu, I'm behind 100%!

 

I hope the Kid Zuzus don't have KDF bodies. I hope they will still look anthro with the option of paws. It would be cool if they could be a family character of the original ZDFs. I'm really hoping they will have some similarities to the Zuzus other than just the head, ears and tail

 

Ahh my Yul arrived! I'm completely in love! Though getting him to stand is a nightmare, the legs are really difficult to position! I can't get his back ones moving at all D: Though I think I'm in love with kid delf's again, I can see myself getting another! (Also I only have a phone camera, photos do not do justice)

 

congrats! sorry to hear your having difficulty with the legs I found mine pretty easy to pose, thats really odd unless maybe the strings are too loose or too tight??

 

I also have a hard time positioning my Yul. I think I'm going to hot glue suede her and see of that helps a bit. It helped her floppy neck problem. It's just that her legs like to go all akimbo and her back legs like to stick together. It's strange.

 

i have to agree with the naysayers on the kid zuzu so far. it still looks too human too me and more like someone in a cat costume than the regular zuzus. cute, but not something i would ever feel the need to bring home. (though a spectacular custom faceup might change my mind later on...)

I like the new KDF Zuzu so far. But I agree she is a little bit to human like. I hope the other releases will look a little bit more ZDF like. The face needs a little bit more anthro feel to it. Like Truffle. She's got a nice and furry face

But still I'm a bit tempted to get KDF Zuzu Corni. But I'm gonna wait for as long as I can before maybe ordering her. They might release some other KDF Zuzu sculpts that I like better.

I am not fond of the kdf Zuzu at all. I don't really like anthro dolls in the first place and she just looks....weird to me. I can see the appeal though!

I'm sort of iffy on the new kid delf zuzu corni...on the one hand, I love anthros but on the other, I prefer my anthros to have a more animal like face. I'm gonna save absolute judgment until I see some pictures of her body though (probably doesn't help that corni was never one of my favourite zuzu's anyway)

The back legs are the part I can't pose, front ones are going everywhere but the back seem glued together and moving them upsets the balance!

 

yep if you move the back ones you'll have to move the front ones to counter balance since they aren't straight down like normal legs. Its definitely 100% better than my Impldolls though I can't put them in laying down poses but the Luts are great to do that with.

For all the Yul owners: Does your Yul's left horn (the longer one) wobble and not stay on her head very well? I'm wondering if it's just my Yul or if it's other Yules too. It's just frustrating. I almost wonder if it's cause the horn is bigger, therefore weighs more? I've tried messing with the magnets but that doesn't seem to help. Just wondering, thanks!

Hey guys. I am falling more in love with the half unicorn dolls or half deer, etc. Where do you suggest that I start looking for dolls like this?
Any brands that you guys suggest?

 

Nevermind, I saw that Luts has a Bory Unicorn. I want it so freaking badly. D; But with everything that I wanted the total was like. 700 dollars. Whyyyyy did I get into BJDs? Lol :P

 

Also, luts only has the centaur dolls during specific ordering periods, so youve got plenty of time to save before their next ordering period we dont know when that will be, or what the doll will look like, or even if they will make more centaurs... But with the success theyve had, i think its pretty safe to assume they'll make another one eventually!

 

Woooo Calia came home today~! I'll have to take some nice non-phone pics later but I was getting ready to head out so this'll do for now lol. Also I swear she has eyes in, they're just really really dark OTL. I'm waiting on her permanent pair from MakoEyes still.

 

Yes, that one horn seems to slide a little further down on her head and is very wobbly(?).

hmm I haven't noticed a difference in my girls antlers...I'll have to take a look later. I surely hope they do another Centaur I missed out on Bory and I almost regret not getting my girl with the tan Centaur body. Please, please, please let them do another. Or better yet what if they did an MSD version of Lio the Griffin...that would be sooo awesome!

 

Kitty Blue and Zia89 you are responsible for my impulse-buy of an in-stock Yul satyress from a dealer! I just had another birthday *sigh* trust me the fun stops when you're 40 - but at least I get birthday money now (because I'm so impossible to buy presents for at my age!) And it BURNS - right through that pocket of mine - till it's gone And now it is definitely GONE - But I seriously can't wait to see Diana, my white 'deertaur' I say in my defence I did try to fight it - impulse buys are bad, right? I fought for a whole hour!!! But then I thought, did I regret my last birthday impulse-buy of 2 dollzone dragons? NO and I thought about the emblem of the village I live in (a white deer) and the strange compulsion I'd had to name my impldoll Tony 'Richard' (which a little online search told me that a white deer was the emblem of Richard II of England - wierd coincidence or what? ) And I also thought about how I'd wanted a 'centaur' doll as my moon is in Sagittarius....And of course this IS the actual year of the horse (yes I know she's a deer - but pfffft - same difference!) And eventually I managed to convince myself that IT WAS FATE for me to buy this doll! Such is the power of 'dolly logic' - which I have been putting to good use for 2 years now So what choice did I have but breeze through paypal and blow all my birthday money? Age has to have some compensations - right??? I could have had a week in Greece, but ....MEH - it's over in 7 days - a doll will still be here making me happy every time I look at her! I am just slightly worried about what my son will say......and what his dad will say.....Oh well - I clicked the paypal button anyway!

 

Sadly, Borytaur is a limited. His ordering period was last summer. So, he's not available to purchase any longer. But, with the popularity of the horse dolls, I'm sure they are working on new ones. We'll see what they come out with for the Summer Event. It sucks, but all dolls made for summer or winter events aren't available after the event is over.

 

I hope they come out with a Cat-taur judging by their zuzu one. If anyone's ever seen The Twelve Kingdoms anime... I'd looooooove to make a Sanshi-esque doll. hnnnnnng... need four legged kittytaaaaaur! lol

Shironami-Nah, both my girl's horns are great. There is however, fogginess on them from sanding that I wasn't too pleased with. Over it now, though xD
