Luts Honey Delf Discussion part 3

I'm really interested in Pin! I know it says on Luts's site "Honey Delf PIN (Old Ange PIN)". But when I'm trying to search/ google for "Custom House Ange Pin", I find nothing!

I'm interested in owner pictures. Am I using the wrong key words when searching?

 

I used Ange AI Pin, but I only found this one:

I honestly don't recall an Ange AI Pin.

 

I've heard about Custom House before. But that's all. I might have visited the site in the past two times or so. I'm not familiar with any of their dolls.

But I found it weird that nothing showed up about "Pin". Thanks for the picture though

I've never really owned a human standard (26-28cm) sized yosd before. But I've had it in the back of my mind for at least a couple of years. After Luts started the releasing of the old Custom House Ange AI sculpts I was sold!

Has anyone seen any owner pics of the Honey Delf Corni yet? I haven't been able to find anything online besides Luts' promotional pictures. She's super cute but I'd like to see what she looks like in owner pictures.

 

Here's my Coco again~ I didn't think I was going to have a "favorite doll," but it's definitely her! She's really sweet.



I'm struggling a bit with clothing for her, though, because of the slightly larger size of the type 5 body. Has anyone had luck with particular brands or etsy sellers that fit it well? This set was from a seller that no longer makes 1/6 clothes, unfortunately, or else I'd go back to them for more.

 

Would IP BID clothes fit the type 5 body? I have BID clothes but no type 5 body yet to try.

 

Are there any owners of "Sunny"? She looks so precious!

 

My Tarte is finally here! I'm so glad that I decided to get her despite the lack of photos at that time because she is as cute as a button! Here is Tarte with default company face-up and no body blushing (I did request to have the face-up exactly like the official photos with obvious lip colour and blushing). I also bought the same sparkly eyes that was in her official photos, but its not showing well here.

Quick candids of my Coco! Volks YoSD clothes seem to fit the type 5 body well, I had a little trouble buttoning the back of the second outfit (Volks Pop Star or Candy Pop? I forget the name of it, rip) but I got it on with a little gentle wiggling.

I got him in february 2016 but this is the first time I post my Brownietaur boy Robin. The pink girl is his little sister.

I wasen't too keen on having his lower body in all blue, so Luts let me have brown mane, hooves and tail. Luts are awesome!

I admire anime styled dolls so much. I'd love to own one, but I have been focusing on semi stylized BJDs. I'm kind of afraid to get started on collecting anime styled dolls as well.

 

@manabusama Your Brownietaur is awesome! LUTS is such a nice company to allow people to do that.

 

Thank you Luts are the best! They also allowed custom face-up for my KZDF Curly. Most companies would not accept custom face-ups on a limited doll no matter what. Well it could be they allowed it since I ordered a boy Curly though, and the default face-ups were too girly for a boy. Even so, Luts really are the best!

 

I love how luts will change the hooves and tails if you request it. I didn't know it at the time or i would have changed mine! Your's is just lovely!

 

I had a centaur character in mind. And it just wouldn't have worked without the brown parts. But I would of course have accepted it if they said no. But Luts are so kind and listens well to they're customers, so I thought asking could not hurt

I ordered a girl Madeleine in real skin brown a while back and may get her around april/may time if what my dealer said about the 4 month wait is true!
Aside from LUTS themselves, and I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but what places do you all reccomend to go for clothes? I found a cute hoodie on Amazon -Link- that I bought and it fit my other Yo-SD who has quite similar measurements to the type three body but I'm looking for some cute jeans or sneakers/canvas shoes.

Also those centaurs are so cute! I wish they weren't limited because I really love the honeydelf centaur body they do, I can just never get the funds together in time to make the limited release. :c Well whatever, one day they'll probably do another release! ^-^

 

there are lots of cute clothes on etsy. anything for littlefee should be perfect fit since my littlefees and honeydelfs can swap clothes. yosd's should also work, but that size can vary more

 

So my Tarte arrived back in late January, but I only just finished making a wig for her so it took a while before I got any good photos of her. She's soooo unbelievably precious in person! Her sweet little face just melts my heart.

How do you find the poseability of Honey Delfs? Do they generally come well strung? They're absolutely adorable, and I have been eyeing several of the "dreaming" styles as candidates for my (first ever!) doll. They're just so precious ... !

 

I've only got one on the Type 2 body, and she's my first/only Luts doll, so I don't know if this is true for all Honey Delfs but my girl is an incredibly flexible and natural-looking poser. She can sit straight up, cross her arms and legs, pull her knees up a little, bend over while standing, sorta crouch, sit with her legs turned out to the sides (I think that's called "suwariko"?), and lean back a few degrees. Just about the only thing she can't do is slouch forward, but that's not a huge issue for me. Her stringing is great, not too tight or loose, just right.

The only issues I've had are that her joints were a little slippery right out of the box--which was really easy to fix with sueding--and her feet use resin tabs instead of more typical metal s-hooks, which has caused her feet to fly off a few times when I was trying to take a pair shoes off to redress her. Probably wouldn't be an issue if you were careful (I'm a little haphazard when I dress my dolls lol), but it is mildly annoying to have to restring her whole leg when that happens.

It's kind of a relief to know her stringing was good; as a newcomer, I'm a bit intimidated by the thought of having to entirely restring a doll right off the bat. But I'm sure more familiarity will come with the territory once I actually own one, haha.

edit: omg i got too excited that I forgot to ask. I can't seem to find her hands replacement anywhere. Not that I'm complaining, but sometimes have extra hands could add more zest to her poses. Does anyone know where I can buy Honey Delf hands? seems to be out of stock everywhere

@konstrain Your kiddo is so cute! As for the hands, LUTS said a few months back that they need to catch up on their orders and so took them down. I'm hoping that means they'll be back one day because I need hands for my kid delf.

I am so excited that it looks like LUTS is going to have another Honey Delf centaur release... and they will have a centaur body in black. I've always wanted that!

Yay, more honey delf fans!! I've been meaning to make my order for the gabrielle sculpt soon, but have been having too many problems with the site I used. I live in canada, too, and I'm afraid I'm going to be attacked with customs fees.
I have a backstory, name, and look already all picked out, and I'm so sad to not have my baby home.

Sadly I haven't gained access to marketplace yet due to my noob level (been in the hobby for over 2 years, only recently made an account on here) and havent had much luck.

Thank you. The wig is not from LUTS. I remember purchasing it from Fabric Friends & Dolls, but I can't remember the brand…
