Yeah, the new Delfs were the first full SD dolls I got and they got me hooked. Love my Claus and Aragorn and it's so hard to for me to find male bodies with the same graceful lines as them. v_v

I kind of wonder if the New Delfs are still too new to really be super-popular yet? I know it's been a few years, but maybe? I probably wouldn't have one if I hadn't gotten my Claus in a trade...they just weren't something I'd looked at seriously. I love the Luts version of this body though. I'd owned the type 1 and 2 CP Delf boy bodies and just couldn't deal with them (the type 1 girl body isn't giving me any problems though). The type 4 is perfect! I haven't had trouble with her since I pieced her together! She's not kicky at all!

Dug up some old spam of Jeanie for the new thread. I ordered her a new wig and she's in the middle of getting a (hopefully) fabulous dress. Which will mean new pics.

Jean's dress is still just in the planning stages now, BUT her new wig came today! I love it so much! I'll have to try and get pictures of it Saturday. I'm so excited about it!!

My Nina doesn't have a face up yet (she's being sent to a face up artist next month) but here's a preview picture of her blank. I'm so excited to have her that I can't stop sharing her to everyone I know.

Has anyone ordered a Delf Ann yet? I completely fell in love with her and since I need a SD girl she's going to be my next purchase. I got sucked into their new limiteds so it'll be a bit before I can get her.

Hello all~ I'm popping in the new delf thread now that my light tan Aragorn will be coming home soonishly (I'm assuming within the next couple weeks) :3 He's off getting a face-up right now, but everything for him has arrived home and I can't wait to dress him up! I originally wanted two Aragorn's to make twins... and sometimes I still think about it. He's just too cute! ; - ;

 

Oooo! Shiny new thread! And I have a question to ask. If I want to buy clothes for the luts delf boy type 4 body from Sadol, do I pick the luts delf option or the SD9 option? Because the luts delf option could be referring to the older delf bodies and if I'm not wrong, the older delf bodies are larger? Sorry if this is a silly question.

 

The new Delf bodies are pretty much the same as the old ones, so Delf is still the best option! :3

Hello fellow Luts lovers! It's nice to see other people's pretty dolls and I thought I'd share my girl too ^^



She's a Delf Succubus Clary and I love her so much >__<

I had a question for you other Delf owners - is restringing the new Delf any different than other BJDs? My Clary is my first BJD and for some reason, LUTS forgot to send me the booklet that shows how to restring her o_o;

 

So beautiful~ Idk why the new Delf line isn't that popular, their faces are so graceful and beautiful.
And restringing her should be the same as most single jointed dolls. The only difference would be her extra joint parts (shoulder cups), the boys are a little different (more joint cups) but it's basically the same.

Luts is my fav company, ever since I started browsing BJD companies. They have such a wide range of beauties~

 

I really hope I could see some owner photos of Delf Ann! She's one of my grail dolls and I have not found one single owner photo of her online

Hi! Popping in for a quick question in case anyone can help out~.

I just recently got my own Claus (RSB, I just love him) and while he looks gorgeous and perfect in person, I noticed that in pictures I take of him he has fairly dark, sunken-looking shadows under his eyes and by his nose. Almost like he hasn't slept in a while, the poor dear. Since I've seen so many Claus owners in this new thread and the last one, do you guys know if there's a way to make that part of his sculpt less pronounced? I knew it would be part of the sculpt when I got him, but he's due for a faceup soon, so I thought I'd ask since the pictures I've seen here don't look like they haven't slept in ages~.

 

use lighter colors? the rsb+faceup colors make those parts darker so they look sunken and panda eyed. also probably creative light directing?

Here's my Eden not helping at all. I personally like the darkness around his eyes, it gives him smouldering eyes once in a while. |D

Lynessa, your Kara is lovely! Someday I hope to buy her too - hopefully after Luts hears my request for mobilty leg joints for the Senior Delf Girls >__>. Everyone has such pretty dolls, it's nice to see non-company pics for a change .

I've had a pretty long break from ordering any SDs. My focus have been on the MSD size and smaller. I was so sure I was done with the SD size. Not so sure anymore though

I was going to finish my SD family with a SSDF Cane and SDF Frey. But William have stolen my heart completely So I guess it'll be Cane and William then. OMGosh I need a William!


Why must this hobby be so difficult sometimes

 

I had a Delf boy once. A CP Delf Lishe. I don't miss him but I sure miss having a Delf boy.. I got my Soony girl in 2012 right before Luts discontinued the old sculpts. So I feel it is time to soon get a boy. My stylised BJD family misses having a Delf boy.

Yeah, I was expecting him to be a little darker, but he is gorgeous.

He really is a lovely sculpt. I'm severely tempted to order another in NS, but I too need a William in my life. XD

 

I fell in love with the William sculpt after I saw the picture of him on thread one SDF Frey was my grail SD doll for the longest time but then I saw William

It's gonna be a hard wait ordering him.

I only have an RSB (my claus) but now I wish I ordered my aragorn in RSB/LT. The company pics made him look weird but so far the owner pics make him in dark skin look awesome *========*

 

You could always make him a twin ;D -nudge nudge.- Don't listen to me! I'm an enabler.
Aragorn is cute in both skin tones~ I really had a hard time choosing between NS and Light Tan for him, I fell in love with both.

i'd feel weird buying another considering I asked luts to switch so I wouldn't have twins for that double delf deal

Hi everyone Your dolls are all gorgeous, wow! I love the face up on Koma's LT Joe (great eyebrows) and MiyukiChan, that bright blue looks so good with your Aragorn's tan!

I'm new to Delfs and have a couple of questions, so I hope it's okay if I ask them here! I have a NS LLT/Delf hybrid, and I was hoping to get high heels and jointed hands for him. Do any of you have jointed hands on your Delfs, and if so, who made them and how do you like them? Also, do you have a favorite place to shop for your boys? Either for clothes or shoes (esp heels, of course)!

 

Delf Aragorn has such a sweetie face...

 

Does anyone know if the head circumference changes for a SDF sculpt on the Delf type 4 body? I'm debating on getting either Bliss or Spica, but I'm unsure of what size wigs I should be looking at. Thanks!

Selenae: I don't believe the head size changes when you order a different body for it. So you could get 8-9 inch wigs. Or even 9-10, but they'd be less fitting. There's more options for 9-10 on Luts, if you're looking at wigs there.

Selenae - My understanding is that the Delf, Senior Delf, and Super Senior Delf heads fit on all of those bodies and are interchangeable, so I think they're all 8-9s or 9-10s (though like MiyukiChan said, 8-9 inch wigs fit better in my experience)
