Resolved Lullaby vs. Vexxed

    1. She hasn't been online for almost 3 days, and the Ringdoll body she sent to me arrived 2 days ago with some problems. I really need to be able to talk to her to resolve these issues as there is actual damage to the doll.

    3. I just saw this thread after I replied Vexxed's PM.
       
    4. I feel sorry to do this. But finally I choose open this issue no matter if it is a misunderstand.

      I list a ringdoll RGMbody-3 in MP from Oct, 2017. Last month Vexxed contacted with me to ask about the body. Since the thread is for a whole doll at the beginning, so I said he will come with COA(a card from Ringdoll) in my thread and forgot to edit. Then I told Vexxed the body won't go with COA, and she asked me to take pics of the card for her, and a handwritting with both of our names. She said she would like to keep the official things of him. I did it and said she would get the official doll box. Then she paid as a personal payment.

      I packed the body carefully and shipped promptly as soon as I got the money. I said a free shipping in my thread with registed airmail which will take one to two months to arrive. But I thought Vexxed so trust me and I didn't wanna keep her waiting so long time since she paid via personal payment. So I chose EMS at last which cost me more than $100 to ship the body to her(EMS charged as volume, equel to 11kg. I usually unstrung the doll to a small box, but considering Vexxed like the official box, I cover it myself.) At that time I felt very glad to do it and really hope she would be happy to receive the body.

      Yesterday, after three days hadn't visited DOA, I received several PMs from Vexxed. She said the body came with two stains on his shoulder and then she found one of his finger was broken. Before she received any response from me, she took these problems as my fault and paging me here. She said I didn't mention the body is damaged and with stains in my thread. They were there before shipping and the pic in my thread just can't show them. She said the packing is good so the finger can't be broken.

      I honestly sweared that I myself packed the body just before shipping and I never see these purple stains when he was in my home. And the hands were intact without any broken finger. He was in good condition and as Vexxed said "thoroughly wrapped". I have no any reason no mention such big problems in my thread if they were there. Unless I thought the buyer won't find them after received him.

      Here are the pics of stains that Vexxed gave me. I don't know if they are any fingerprint with purple ink. I don't know if the package was opened during the shipping by customs or post office. It is a rare case. I feel sorry about this and I try to understand as a buyer who received a doll in such condition. I shipped over hundred dolls overseas from 2007 in DOA. Sometime if the doll happened to damaged during the shipping. I always glad to work with the buyer to resolve it. I just feel really sad and disappointed this time. I did everything the best I can but received query this way. It's really make me upset. Of course I still would like to pay some money for the broken finger whatever who should be responsible with it. The only thing I regret is I didn't take detail pics of the body since I packed and examined him carefully before shipping and I unexpected this will happen.

    5. Vexxed said she doesn't want to try cleaning off the purple stains until she has an idea of what they could be. But now I think maybe she should try it. If the stain can be clean off, she will belive I have no any reason to keep them before shipping. If fact, if they can't be clean off, at least they can be sanded off. I have no any reason to keep them. I don't know why Vexxed take all of these are intentional. I took the pics of card and handwritting as she requested pleasantly. If she asked the detail pics of body, I would do it too.

    8. I did clean off the purple markings, although they were a bit stubbon. I PMed Lullaby multiple time so she could see pictures of the problems with the dolls as I uploaded them. I really wasn't trying to be accusatory in the post, I just wanted to talk so we could resolve the issue, which we are now doing. I consider the matter resolved. Lullaby did a great job shipping him to me, I was just concerned that since the shoulders weren't shown in the sales photo it may have been pre-existing and wanted to know what best to use to clean them without necessarily resorting to acetone, which was needed.

      As I said, we're now talking which was the whole point of paging her so I consider this resolved.

    14. @Vexxed @lullaby the thread is only closed once all involved members have reported that the situation has been resolved. As lullaby didn't report any resolution until today, the thread wasn't considered resolved until today.
      Additionally, the moderation team is entirely staffed by volunteers and not all moderators have the ability to resolve paging threads and remove the paging flag from members, so threads are typically handled once a moderator with those abilities is online and able to deal with them.
      In the future, the fastest way to get the attention of the moderation team is to post in Ask the Moderators - this will bring the situation to the attention of the entire moderation team rather than relying on one specific moderator to log in.
