Contest Lucky #13 WINNER POSTED! (and calendar submission gallery)

    1. The moderators have decided to include a 13th image in the 2010 calendar. We are posting all of the entries that were submitted for the 2010 contest. Members may vote for any entry that is 1) not already in the calendar and 2) not by an artist whose work is already included in the calendar. These entries are marked, so please don't waste your vote on them!

      Because this entry is not eligible for the top prize (already determined - congrats again, seisei!), we are allowing entries received late. The numbering of the entries has been changed up a bit so that it's not immediately apparent which entries were late.

      The selection is being done by a silent vote, much like the Little Art contest. Entrants may not solicit votes or identify their entries to other people.

      How to Vote

      Each entry is numbered. To vote, PM Entry13 with the number of your favorite entry. You may only vote for ONE entry.

      Please put the entry number in the SUBJECT of your PM and do not write anything else in the subject.

      Voting Time

      Votes will be accepted from August 18th through August 20th. Voting closes at 8:00pm EST 8/20/09.

      The winner will be posted on August 20th.

    8. We will be closing voting early due to timing (again, I need to ferry things over to the new house). Voting will close at 6pm.

    10. The Lucky 13 winner is #50 by Sakuli with 96 votes!

      Sakuli's image will be the 13th image used in the 2010 calendar. In addition, she will receive a $20 gift certificate to Celga.

      We have also decided that we will be offering two versions of the calendar - the standard 13 month 2010 Calendar, then an extended 15 month "Lucky 13" version which includes the top 3 member-vote entries. (Permissions have already been cleared with all artists whose works will be used.)

      In 2nd place for the Lucky 13 was #54 by Erised D. Sire with 30 votes:

      Both of these images will be included in the extended "Lucky 13" 2010 calendar.
