Omg he's perfect...Loongsoul keeps outdoing themselves with their fullsets, just, WOW. I definitely have to own one someday. His face is so elegant and soulful, and I think my favorite thing has to be the print on the outer robe. Just, so many stunning details.

I just put Loongsoul's Alkaid on layaway, and I was waffling on whether to get white skin or the rose, and after seeing your photos I'm glad I went with the rose in the end. The white resin is beautiful, but it's very... well, white! My personal tastes run more warm. Your fellow looks gorgeous in the white resin, though; it really makes him look like he was shaped from clouds.

(I see you're a fellow Georgian! Maybe after the plague passes you'll let me come over and stare longingly at Yun Zhong Jun--)

Technically speaking I shouldn't have gotten Alkaid either, especially since I have another doll on order (9 weeks tomorrow....), but as soon as I saw him I fell madly in love and knew I had to have him. That, and the fact his fullset is limited, and the new doll 15% discount on ACBJD..... If you throw "LIMITED" in front of something I want to buy I have a bad habit of jumping immediately to buy it Right That Second instead of waiting for a more reasonable time. Whoops! At least since he's on layaway I can pretend he's a Christmas gift to myself....? (And, like, I got my credit card specifically to purchase BJDs, so it's fine, right, right....)

Yes!! Hopefully things go back to 'normal' relatively soon; a meetup would be super fun!! I have friends in the hobby as well, but none of them are local, so it would be really nice to see people in person. Maybe by then my second kid will have arrived.... If I don't die of impatience first............ (What an ironic hobby for me to be into since my patience runs so short!)
