Resin Comparison Loongsoul Resin And Size Comparisons

I think it is Immortality of Soul, close though! And Tsukasa, thanks for the LS/IoS pics! I've been thinking of getting an Anos but was stumped as to what body I could get him.

 

i have just ordered a loongsoul girl body in NS-Y, so when the body is home i will take comparison pictures of the body against Souldoll NS, Luts NS (old), Crobidoll NS, Dikadoll NS-P and Luts NS (new) ^-^

 

It would be very much appreciated if someone were able to post a pic of a Leeke/Loongsoul 1/3 hybrid. I have a poor disembodied Cliffe head who I'm sure would love to have a Loongsoul 1/3 boy body, but those poor Leeke boys are known for their massive heads. Here's hoping for a good fit and no bobble heads! xD

Before I traded my WS LoongSoul boy I had put my fiancées Luts WS Elf Chiwoo head on it and it looked fantastic!
The resin matched and the proportions were good!
I only got one photo of it, though.

LilacForFirstLove - it's both Luts and CP, since my older sister both have a CP Harang (and a SDF girl body) and is getting a SDF head soon. ^-^
i hope i will have my loongsoul body around the end of july, start of august.

 

Normal yellow looks so pink. Is it really that pink in person?

Here is my LingYu head (NY) on Jace's body (NP). I was playing around, so this wasn't meant to be a serious comparison shot as it's night here and the lighting in my house is .... like a cave XD



You can see with the flash that the NY basically just looks really pale compared to the NP. The NP, to me, has so much more color depth than the NY. But then I've only got a NY head!

This LingYu head is growing on me now... he's so darn cute! I think he'd make a good boyfriend for Jace, but I'd have to get him a proper wig and some Eyeco eyes. Oh and those are 16mm acrylics (from LS) in the LingYu head. They're a little gap-y on the corners but I like the look of the size. Soft glass would fit the contour of the eye socket perfectly I think, but I'm not about to take Jace's eyes out to try. :X

 

If anyone has a Loongsoul NY & recent Dollmore NS comparison, I'd love to see it! I'm interested in a color match, but also in a size match for the LS girl body and Dollmore Youth Eve head.

 

Okay, got my white skin Emily today, so here's some info!

Here she is next to a CP Delf boy body (pardon the lack of head, it is off for makeup!). The CP body is just about 1 month old and is pretty much exactly the same as the WS Soom (Beyla) we have in the house too. As you can see, the LS resin does not really match it. LS WS resin has a definite pink undertone while the CP/Soom WS has a more yellow undertone. However, they are about equally dark, so if you wanted to stick a CP head on the LS body I think some blushing could make it look fine.



Here is a pic without flash. For size comparison, the girl is a ~57cm Volks sunlight skin FCS with SD13 girl limbs and the M-bust non-jointed torso.


The flash sort of drowns them out, but here is a pic next to Soom Heliot if anyone wanted to see a size comparison. IMHO they are really cute together!


Unfortunately, my sister's white skin SSDF from Luts still isn't here (business day 48!), so no comparisons with that.

And though I don't have a pic, Domuya's white skin is a lot lighter, but the tone is similar so if you wanted to blush a Domuya head it could probably work on a LS body. But IMHO the Domuya Flexi-2 girl is a way better poser than the LS girl body so I wouldn't suggest that anyway. xD

 

Sorry to double post, but I decided to take my Domuya Flexi-2 body out of storage and try my Emily's head on it. I think the Domuya body has mellowed a bit since I got it a few months ago, and so the resin match isn't nearly as bad as I'd thought it would be and is actually pretty good. And since they are a similar tone, with a faceup it looks perfect!

The Domuya neck is thinner than the LS neck, but it isn't noticeable unless you're looking at it from below and there is no wig to hide it. Note: that ball thingy at the top of the neck is a joint (makes for great mobility), it is often visible with the original Domuya head too.

Overall I think that the Emily head works really well on the Domuya body, it would be a good choice if you want something more poseable and a bit more womanly for your LS girl (big boobs aside, the Domuya body is curvier and is also 2cm taller). Now the tough choice for me, to let Emily keep this body or to get a CP Delf head for it like I'd planned!

I am looking for pictures of Loongsoul's TAN SKIN in comparison with other companies tans - especially Resinsoul.

Elzaim ~ I don't think that LS is making tan skin anymore, though the rep said that they are working on the tan skin and hope it will be available soon (post 139 here). I mention this just 'cause I don't think we know if their new tan skin will be different or not, so it may be a pain to try and find LS tan matches right now. I wish you good luck with your search though!

 

Huh.... that's funny. Catas, the official dealer here on the forum has a post in the news thread with 5 skin-tone colors and tan is one of 'em (granted it's an extra charge...)

I really hope the didn't go away with it - or at least hope they'll work it out and have it available sometime soon. I REALLY want a Jing Ling in tan, and I'd love to get him on a 70cm body.

Really? That would be awesome! Their tan looks really nice. But, I could only find 5 skintones listed as available in the old Loongsoul news thread, while there are just 3 offered in the current news thread and on Mint on Card. ;_; I could be missing something though! ^^

 

Oooh, I've recently fallen in love with Loongsoul's dollies. It's terrible, I shouldn't have done that. >_>
But, does anyone have any comparisons of the NS-Pink resin with other resins?

 

Hmm, can anyone compare DZ's WS and Loongsoul's WS? I'm trying to find a decent body for a planned doll in WS with a DZ head and another company's body.

If anyone could post pictures of crobi doll normal skin, in comparison to loongsoul.
I just want to see what would work together.

Oh manz. I really want the B head that is new. I'd like to know some more resin matches too. Especially with a nice body (maybe a not too detailed) that is around 63cm...I'm not a fan of DikaDoll and they are 63cm. Customhouse/Dollcatch boy body is 63cm and I'd like to know that match too! As well as Crobidoll? Or any cheaper bodies because I'd want a body fast that isn't expensive! @D@;;;

I don't have any other dolls at home to give more examples unfortunately, but if we have a local meet-up anytime soon and I still have my Emily, I'll drag her out to see if I can compare to any other resins. The normal pink is a really lovely tone though, not too pink in person like I was nervous of.

I'm looooving the Loongsoul 1/3 male body, but does anyone know if the Normal Yellow is a match for Volks(rather Migidoll-Volks NS)?
I looked through the thread and I don't think it was mentioned yet, unless I missed it. @__@;

I´d like to know if Loongsoul NS yellow or pink tones matches Dollfie Dream NS, can anyone give me a clue, please?

 

I have a photo of Jace (NS pink) next to a mini Dollfie Dream. I've no idea what color the MDD is though, so not sure how helpful this is:



I do believe Jace has yellowed slightly, and I think flash might've been used in the photo. If I remember right, they did look really similar in tone, but I think the MDD skin tone was a bit less pink, more yellow in tone. The Loongsoul NY might be a decent match.

So, I'm waiting for 2 heads from ANother Secret and they say
that their resin matches Volks...so I've been on the ever tiring
hunt for a body...then I came across LS and I think this is the
perrrrfect body for my boy! But, before I get too excited about
it I'm hoping someone can post pictures of the LS boy body
with a Volks boy head for resin comparison etc. ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated XD

edit: I'm not very concerned with proportions (as in bobble
headed..) as long as the heads fit on the neck without huge
gaps I'll be happy.

 

my girl is a Supia Rosy NS head on a Loongsoul NS-Y body.
there is a difference since the head is more pink but it isn't much and i think it will be covered with the faceup she is getting

 

Anyone know what an EID/SID WS girl head looks like on one of these girl bodies?

The Iplehouse WS is more of a pinky undertone as well. So was wondering if it would work. ^_^

 

Anybody knows if Loongsoul tanskin matches with DollZone tan?
The idea is, to put DZ Cosmo head (tanskin) on LS new boy body (72 or 73,5 cm)

I have a recent (September 2010) MnM head that needs his own body. All my other MnM floaters are a bit on the yellowish side but tend to match pretty much anyones WS bodies. The new MnM head seems to have a pinkier cast to it than the previous sculpts so thank you to "Dolly" for posting the comment above.

I wanted to get in on the LS Winter Event but was unsure if the WS 73.5cm body would work. Pretty sure that it will. Still, if anyone can post comparisons photos of the following............
