Ordering Loongsoul (Ordering Make-up)

I would also suggest paying an artist, they’re almost always better!

 

I'm happy that this help! Sadly, I feel like a lot of Chinese companies do not do a great job for their face-up...Loongsoul and Ringdoll are the worst ones(I think, according to the pictures I've seen), other companies I have not seen pictures as bad as theirs. The other thing is that it takes a longer time for them to make the doll if you want their official face-up, and official face-up is very pricey...So I do not really recommend having their face-up. There are always a lot of talented artists on IG/FB!

Personally according to my purchases, I think Volks has the best official face-up, and IPlehouse's face-up is also very nice! I only purchase face-up from these two companies, other than that I will find an artist to do the face-up.

 

True! Face-up is the most important thing for dolls. I hope you will have the best results.

Also, it is funny that a lot of Chinese consumer HATE ringdoll......The company and some of their consumers said/did staff on social media that a lot people got very mad at. Adding on to that, the company has a major quality problem(at least in China).Well, it’s very complicated. lol

 

I think I lucked out because all of the Loongsoul and Ringdoll I have, their face is very close to the offical promotion pictures or was great quality. Overall, my Loongsoul face up is better and more detailed than Ringdoll. I have 2 loongsoul and 4 Ringdoll. 1 Loongsoul is on the way so we'll see how that one goes.

I used to love Ringdoll but I HATE them now. I'm still waiting on a pair of tan heel feet that I ordered 14 months ago and still waiting. I only recieved info last week that the heel feet are done but need to be another 2 weeks to redo. So from that email it only took them 2 week to make but took 10 months of me and dealer to keep bothering them about it. And they refuse to cancel my order when I requested it before they started on the remakes. So much time is wasted with them because they wanted their $22 Dealing with them is a nightmare when something goes wrong.

Edit: wanted to add that 2 out of the 3 Ringdoll that I pre-ordered had some type of problem with transaction. Mostly with quality control, missing items, and wrong order.

 

Loongsoul has some rather lovely sculpts, so if you ever decide to order from them I'd suggest a blank head that you can commission an artist of your choice to do a custom faceup of your choice. (I actually always recommend that with any company, as I do love custom works myself xP) It will speed up the delivery time of your order, support an artist and give you the best chances to have a final product that you will love~
