Loongsoul Doll 1/4 doll discussion

Hey all, does anyone actually know the circumference of the most recent 1/4 girl body's neck?
Ive seen 6.5, 6.9, and 7
Alices actually says both 6.5 and 6.9 on their site so i emailed asking for clarification and they said 6.5 was the correct measurement. But loongsouls website says 7 so I'm more inclinded to think 6.9 is accurate
Does anyone have the doll and can check for me?

 

I get 6.5 on my girl. I have a DIM head on her and she fits really well. The only thing was the ring that came with the body didn't fit into her neck hole, so I had to replace it.

It's version 3; I think that's the most recent.

 

I recently acquired a Twinflower Bhu Zhi on the second hand market and I'm completely in love.
She is my first 1/4 sized doll and I'm blown away by her posing and quality.
I'm surprised this range doesn't get more attention - I struggled to find owner pics of her before purchasing. I will post some pictures when I am next on my laptop.
I already have my eye on another one.

 

Oh my gosh please share!! I love her so much and have been wanting her for a while. I just am not a fan of the current LS MSD body and don't know a good match for hybriding

She has the company face up, which is lovely and is on the new body which I really like. Let me know if you would like any more detailed pictures.

Do you know when she was made? So if her skin is the new resins or old resins?

 

She was made around April 2021 so not sure if that was before or after they changed resin.

 

Yes that should be the new resin! I haven't seen a lot of pics of that either so this is helpful (especially since i would like to hybrid her). Do you know which skintone she is? Thank you!!

I got my first loongsoul body from the secondhand market, the B-G42-01 from 2013 with with the waist joint. Anyone know of any companies that sell heads separately that would fit/be proportionate?

I've heard that DiM is pretty good, but they're defunct, as well as Mystic Kids (but none of the sculpts speak to me).

 

I have another LS MSD on the way - Living in a Mirror Ghost Jing. On the 2nd hand market from the same lady I brought my Bhu Zhi from. She has a very different face and I can't wait to see her in the flesh.

I have a Chili I received earlier this year, in light rose I think. She's wearing Bhu Zhi's wig (found separately in one of the facebook sales groups).

Does anyone know long often Loongsoul has tan events? Or are you able to order tan pretty regularly? I've never seen it as an option on Alice Collections.

 

Far as I have watched it they have 3-days events (yes, that short and few retailers pick them up) about every half year. I managed to take notice two years ago around new year and managed to get one through my regular newcloversinging.

 

Wow - I can't believe they're THAT short. That makes it so, so easy to miss, even if you already had the funds set aside for it.

 

Yes. Sometimes they make their tan/tans avaible as part of an event but sometimes it's limited to only their new releases so I learned to stalk their weibo homepage and use google translator to find out when the events were and then contacted newcloversinging with the info plus the doll I wanted in tan.

 

It looks like Loongsoul is discontinuing the majority of their 1/4 sculpts. (The only one not included on ACBJD is Bu Zhi.) Do you think they're discontinuing their 1/4 line altogether? Or maybe just revamping it with new sculpts?

I'm a bit sad since I like LS's dolls. I've admired Lotus for a while, but I don't think I can justify any more doll purchases right now.

 

Thanks for reporting that! I went and ordered the 1/6 guy I've been wanting for ages. It was so hard to just pick one, though; there are about six dolls on that list I'd love to bring home. I particularly love Lingz. But it's Christmas and I'm super lucky I can even afford one doll right now. I hope there will be more 1/4 dolls. I don't know the sculptor's name but I love their work and I can't wait to see what comes next.
