Thank you, that's still really helpful! I'm not sure about the face sculpts. I like them but character wise...i need someone to be a conceivable cousin for my Mnf shushu. Maybe I'm overthinking.

 

Faceups can go a long way toward creating a family resemblance.

 

Do you know if any of their colors could match Fairyland white? Mine is ten years old and quite yellowed though.

Do you think it could match with yellowed Fairyland beauty white?

 

Unless you intend to blush, I doubt it.
The Loongsouls I have in white have more a touch of very light rosé in their near paper white. I got one shot of my white BaiLing in front of a pure white wall and a pure white wig on top: Wendy_Moni_08
Especially if you look at it his ears, the tiny notch of pink becomes noticable.

She is gorgeous I'd seen they had a few centaurs but I must have missed their mermaids!

@Araeyla - I don't know if it helps, but I don't think cousins need to be super similar in appearance. I'm sure whoever you pick will look perfect with your ShuShu!

Feeling pretty excited right now, as I'm planning my next doll, a Momo! I've had a Vampire Emily for a long while, and I wanted to get her a daughter, and I think Momo is the best fit.

Her name will be Persephone, and she's basically a miniature version of her mother, Vesper. Except that she's a happy, sunshine baby and hasn't yet grown into her mother's elegance and poise. (I think I may try to mod Momo's mouth to give her some teeny fangs, too. Just like her mom.)

Wondering what the average wait is for a 1/4 Loongsoul doll is these days? I ordered a Wanwan the end of November from Alice Collections so have about reached the 4 month mark.

 

I bought my first doll since I left the hobby years ago.

I got the nuan nuan girl. I was looking through alice collections an fell in love with her.

Though its been about a month now so i have been shopping around, watching box openings an getting back into the doll thing.

I also now see.... Wait times are bad with loongsoul... I feel slight regret lol i am so impatient! I hope its not 6months... This is gonna kill me... I was hoping to have her by the end of may.

Also what size eyes look best in nuan nuan? It doesn't even say what size eyes she comes with.
I am guessing 16mm or 14mm.

Does anyone have pics of her in various eye sizes? Esp 14mm vs 12mm?

 

When I got my boy (fullset) it took 10 months for him to get to me. This was two years ago now I believe so I don't know how the waits have changed since.

 

Munakid and LuckyXIII, I got some good news yesterday from Alice Collections. They said my order has shipped or is ready to ship and they will be able to provide a shipping number on Monday. It will be 4 months since I ordered my Wanwan on the 1st of April. I will be sure and let you know when she arrives.

I have the dolly fever! Lol I want dolls to play with! I haven't seen or touched a doll in 3yrs... I miss them...

Lol only trouble is... They will be nekkid/bald/blank XD if my budget goes into another doll instead of wig/clothes...

I'm at the 4 months mark of my order - blank nuannuan girl. I've been told that the retailer estimates her to come in april. Which would be around 5 months and given chinese newyears and all that, I'd say it's a good estimate to plan 4-5 months.

 

Maybe i will be lucky and get her by 4month mark for my birthday in june.

I also got a blank nuan nuan! =3 look forward to seeing your girl in April. (Esp if you do a box opening video or photo shoot!)

I‘m definitely getting a NuaNuan this April, but it might not be the new ine. I got one 2nd hand the other day on top xD also white skin, but I think she has the big boobs. Going to sand them down either way with that one to a smaller size xD
Would be fun if both made it, but I don’t think so .

That said, I don’t do videos, but I can take pics and make a box opening thread :3

Loongsouls 1/4 are super pretty, I've bought one before but sold it, I still have a 1/6 left for loongsoul, but when it compares with my othe 1/6, loongsouls ones are just way to fat, but cuteeee

I'm surprised to hear LoongSoul are getting dolls out a bit quicker now. My girl Llúcia took forever a few years back~ She was a fullset mermaid though, speaking of; I rearranged some of my doll shelves and she now has a place all to herself Although she'll be joined by an Asleep Eidolon merman sometime this year.

 

She is so pretty! That's a great set up.

Is Wanwan sold out now? I couldn't get the money together to order her last year, and I'm afraid I missed out.

@thesalyrose I'm afraid so. She's listed as sold out on the loongsoul page. Best way to snatch her is probably to check for stock and/or hound the mp. I believe there was one around recently.

 

They're still selling her body, though, right? If I can't find a Wanwan, I'd at least like to have that gorgeous body for one of my floating heads.

 

@thessalyrosr Yepp, body is not limited. You can combine it woth any of their regular heads too. Like NuanNuan or William or Momo and so on.

Llúcia's new eyes finally came in from LegendDoll the other day and I really like them on her.

 

I asked for a small update on my girl... I ordered march 1st. They said probably won't get any updates till July.

I didn't think to check here first, but its good to know what the estimated wait time is. I just ordered a Ghost Jing, I just fell in love instantly. I'll be checking back often as I wait. Love seeing everyone's pictures.

I am so sad.... So i got an email from AC today that they got my girl... But on the wrong body so will have to send her back to loongsoul to have them change her body...

It's been almost 6months since i ordered now it may be several more months

 

@munakchild I'm so sorry to hear about the mix up.

I know what that's like; had a similar situation with my OT DollChateau Larry. I'd ordered him with a full face up/body blushing and when he arrived to me he was completely blank. So I then had to send him back to the dealer who sent him back to the company. I'd already waited close to 7 months for him and then had to wait another 4/5 months again to get him all complete. [Even then he arrived without his antennas which I then had to wait for again.]

Hopefully you'll get your girl sooner rather than later! I know I was over the moon excited and relieved once I finally got my Larry after all the fuss was over

Did they compensate you at all for making so many mistakes and making you wait so long?

 

I was pretty devastated and more than a little angry to say the least. They didn't, unfortunately. I probably could have been more forthright and asked for some kind of compensation but I was honestly just happy enough to get my doll in one piece at the end of it all

Hi everyone. This is my first major post in a forum so forgive me ahead of time. I have a Loongsoul Eloise that tipped over and broke a wing at the connector piece. Does anyone know if I can get a replacement from Loongsoul?

 

@Shortkarma Did you buy it directly from them or via a retailer?

Can't promise you can get replacement, but I'd just ask via whoever you purchased it, explaining the problem, ideally with a picture. Worst they can do is say no, but they have sent replacement parts (against payment) in the past before, but I'm uncertain how they handle limited pieces.

If they don't, depending on what and where and how it broke, you can likely either fix it by gluing or perhaps using some apoxie or similar.

 

Unfortunately I bought her secondhand, although I have the coa. I suppose I could try emailing Loongsoul directly.
I’ve tried several glues and they just haven’t been able to support the weight of the wing.

Well after the long 6month wait alice collections finally got my doll back with her correct body! They shipped her out last Wednesday! I am hoping she will come soon. The tracking hasn't updated at all since last wednesday when it says it left Shanghai.
Usually ny packages from alice arrive or update alot sooner.

I am really hoping the package didn't get lost and arrives soon or next week.

I am a lil worried about weather though... I ordered her blank expecting her to be here early summer and was going to do her faceup myself. But it's becoming fall and where i live it tends to be cold and damp most of the year.

So i got my girl in the mail finally earlier this week! (She seemed to have gotten lost in the mail there for a while but eventually she made it!)
I was getting very nervous there for a while.
Her box was in quiet rough shape... But she herself seems unharmed.

I did a box opening video sort of (i was still bit sick so did it without showing myself and wasnt very talkative or clear minded)
But once i edit that i will share.

She however is nude/blank still... I was hoping to do her faceup shortly after she arrived but had originally planned for her to arrive in the summer... Weather where I am is very poor the rest of the season for faceups. It's very cold, windy, and humid here now and i am unsure when/if i will get the chance to do it now... And i do NOT want to wait till next summer @.@...

it's suppose to be sunny and lil warmer this weekend so i am crossing my fingers that i get the chance to work on her.

I haven't even attempted to bond with her as it still feels stressful and I'm annoyed at the whole process.

 

Hey guys! I wanted to get some outfits commissioned for my girl before she actually gets here but that means I need super detailed measurements and I just don’t have the body to do so.

I bought a Loongsoul 42.5cm girl body with a small bust -
Doll Parts, Loong Soul - BJD Dolls, Accessories - Alice's Collections
If possible I would appreciate measurements using this helpful chart from beyond wonderland -COMMISSION - Beyond Wonderland
Measurements in cm are preferred!

I’m willing to draw a bust for the first person to post these measurements if there happens to be more than one person who happens to do so since I know taking detailed measurements is a long process. Thank you so much to anyone who can help me!

I got her axe prop raws in the mail today!!! They are a perfect fit! I'm so glad, I was afraid they might be to big or small or some other kind of mess up ^^°

Hope to get to work on them (some sanding still needs to be done and then it's time for paint - when the weather lets me *grmbl*) soon -^3^- Gotta customize them to fit with her outfit and both need a leather string from that ring at the end, for the extra 'swing' when she get's ready to throw them instead of using them for close combat

@Chelokotik Your Nani single-handedly made me want a wanwan!! Her glances are so judgmental and fussy, I love it. I'm so upset I missed the limited re-release (i think that was wanwan they offered..), but I hadn't made up my mind by then... but thank you for taking so many pictures of her!
