It took about a year and a half to get this boy home. I paid him off on layaway with BJDivas and then there were shipping disruptions due to covid restrictions so they had to hold on to him for me until USPS opened shipping to Australia again. Anyway he finally made it to Australia and after paying his ranson at customs he is home. I was so worried about parts getting damaged, but he was wrapped really well and arrived in perfect condition. He took up two huge boxes and it was a bit of a workout putting him together, but he is in one (very large) piece at last.
Oh my, he is absolutely divine! Those parts are absolutely stunning I am so glad they all arrived in one piece for you.
Thank you! I got really nervous when I saw some other people said their ones got damaged in the post. I am so happy to have him
im not surprised tbh seeing how delicate some of those pieces are. I bet it’s such a good piece of mind having him home after all that time. I will definitely be praying they do a re-release or something similar, I can’t stop staring at him, absolute perfection!
He's gorgeous, that's a beautiful sculpt and I'm glad everything arrived safely. But I'm dying at the Husky in the background of the last picture.
All I can say is wow!! He looks stunning I love how the light bounces off his different contours! I'm glad he came to you in perfect condition, especially after such a long wait!
OOOH he is very pretty in black. much prettier then on the LS site. how did you get his tail fluff on at the end of the tail? I have him in white skin and too scared to put pressure on the tail to get my tail fluff on. I would love to have him in black and brown too. he is beautiful
Thank you! That is Jason my husky. He is 10 years old and my constant companion. Thank you! The company did the gold blushing which makes the details stand out. It was quite a nervous wait for him to get here. Jason is my second husky. When I started collecting bjds (2011) I had Nanook and he was always lying in the kitchen near the sliding door when I did my box openings. I think it is now a tradition to have a husky in at least one pic when I get a new doll. Thank you! He is huge and really heavy! He is 75cm without his horns and 85cm with them. Thank you! Jase is watching me and not impressed that I am not paying my full attention to him Wouldn't it be amazing to have him in all three colours? The brown and white look amazing too. The black is like a really dark gray irl. As for that tail is is really tightly strung as you would know. What I did was use a strong boot lace (around the s hook) to pull the hook out as far as I could and pushed one of the bits of wood (that where through his ankle elastics) through the elastic loops so it could not go back in. I then removed the big S hook and attached the smaller hook to the fluff first and then the elastic. Next I got my partner to gently pull the bit of wood out while I held the two pieces (fluff and tail) apart so they would not snap back to hard. I then moved them back together gently. It really helps to have that extra hand to help as it took all my strength to hold the pieces apart. Thank you! I am glad you like him.
Keep an eye out on the marketplace in case someone sells theirs. I know BJDivas have one in stock, but the price is pretty high.
Wow, he's beyond stunning! I love that despite the fact he's entirely black, he's still got so many shades to him and how the light interacts with his shapes. I always love getting to see this scuplt - it's probably a good thing I wasn't around for his release, I doubt I could afford him Congrats though!
Thank you! I am glad you like him. The light gold blush the company did works really well to show details like scales etc... He is also not totally black, but more a very dark gray when in brighter light which I think helps details show up too.
The photo of his foot in your palm REALLY drives home just how big he is. What an absolute stunner! Congrats on having him home finally!
Wooooah, what a man! I was really hoping to see owner photos of this gorgeous doll. I fell in love with him when he was released. He looks so stunning and huge! All those special parts are very pretty and detailed, I'm glad to see photos of them. Congrats on getting this gorgeous new doll!
Thank you! He is large and with the added tail and wings he is really heavy! Thank you! I am glad you like him. I am so happy I got him
Wow, he looks gorgeous in black resin. I love how wonderful he looks with his horns and tail. Congrats!!
Glad you like him. When I saw the preview I knew I had to get him. Glad you like him. Jason (my husky) is not scared, just annoyed I am not paying attention to him. and insanely heavy! Thank you Thank you! I am really happy with him. the tail is quite amazing irl. Glad you like him That is the difficult part. I can't sew and clothes are not going to be easy to find. I have made a really bad leather skirt/wrap thingy to cover things up a bit. Not that showing off that body Is a bad thing
Woah! He looks absolutely amazing. The size of those feet is crazy. Love the colours ❤️ Also hello to another fellow Australian!
Thank you! His feet are really huge! I am in Melbourne and there are quite a few collectors here Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! He sure is unique and stands out among my other guys. Thank you! My husky wonders why I am interested in lump of resin when I could be paying him more attention. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! He is really heavy too. Thank you!
