Looking for some avice on SD boy head!

    1. Hey! I've dabbled in sculpting in the past, but was never satisfied with the results.
      Then I went to college and we did a little sculpting seminar and it seems I improved with some advice. c: So now I'm finally making my dream boy... er, man.

      I know he needs ears and a head cap (I destroyed his original one...). ^ ^

      But is there anything that seems uneven? (I checked in photoshop and it looked good!)
      Anything weird that stands out.

      I've been working on him every night (6pm-3am) for the past 7 days so I'm afraid I might get narrow-sighted and overlook something weird!

      The line down the right side isn't an indent, it's just a newer layer of sculpey.

    2. He's very pretty =) love the shape of the head, nose, eyes and principally his eyebrows - they give him a really nice expression =)

      But maybe the chin and lower lip are too forward? they give him sorta " >: < i'm so mad at you right now". No problem with that though, if it was what you meant - it's kinda cute <3

    3. Thanks Liu484! You really inspired me to keep working!

      I did want him to look grumpy but I think he is TOO grumpy right now. X3 So I will take your advice and try to bring his lips and chin back a little. His bottom lip particularly is very big and pouty. Sanding that should help I think.

    4. he looks a little frowny, although that could be the lighting on the mouth. i dunno. it just appears that is mouth is very downturned. i LOVE the nose and eye shape, though.

    5. hey everduk what i can see on the pics seems to be well done =) but have you checked him from underneath aswell to see if he's also perfectly 3d there?
      like liu says, he seems to look a bit annoyed(lip and eyebrows) but it's an interesting expression.
      btw, what do you mean with you checked it on photoshop? as i don't have photoshop on my computer i wonder: does it have a system to check symmetry ?
