    1. Hi everyone my name is Kathy!

      Occupation: Currently a NEET trying to apply into medschool!
      Hopefully during my whitecoat ceremony I will bring my doll in a white coat too! LOL
      My hobbies: drawing, sewing, lolita fashion, high fashion in general, watching anime and some streams! I have a humongous lolita fashion collection of about 60-80 main pieces! I wear lolita everyday!

      How long in BJD Hobby: 2 weeks!
      Reason why I like BJDs: I love lolita fashion and I saw that some people in the lolita community had dolls, but what actually got me started was one of my closest friends in the fashion! He bought a snow miku dollfie and I thought she was adorable. The reason why I got into the hobby was also because I wanted to make my dolls some matching clothes and let them wear it to tea parties with me (and possibly get brunch with my friend with our BJDs haha)!
      Im happy I actually made a new friend last week in the fashion and BJD community!:D
      (I repeat... lolita has nothing to do with the book by nabokov, please do not assume that. It is just a victoria/rococo influenced fashion, if you have more questions about it though feel free to ask me)

      My first doll: Peakswood FOC Rosemii Blossom in Fantabulousland in Pink Punch!

      My second doll: Peakswood FOC Rosemii as Alice in Twistedland in Gray!

      My favorite doll was Rosemii Blossom after really browsing through lots of dolls.
      I bought Rosemii Blossom two weeks ago and my second doll in gray skin I bought last week!
      I think ive fallen in love with the Peakswood's designs even though I know Volks is the bigger company! But I certainly love clothing from VOLKS, maybe in the future ill love them more, but I just really am obsessed with how sultry and dark peakswoods designs are!

      Future goals:
      Hoping to get Goldie from peakswood in the future!!!
      I want to make my own doll out of paperclay or resin in the future and I plan on sewing lots of clothes for them
      Planning on buying lots of VOLKS x Baby the Stars Shine Bright lolita clothes for them!
      Ive been stalking lots of auction sites and mandarake :) keeping my eyes peeled!

    6. Hi Kathy, your dolls are gorgeous, I hadn't heard of peakswood but I'll have to check them out! I'm into lolita fashion too, I've recently gained a new kitten and I'm too scared he'll ruin my dresses if I wear them, so I think I'll be living vicariously through my dolls for a while. Unluckily for him I've only recieved my MSD boy so he may be a test subject until my girls arrive. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create :D

      Yes peakswood is going to be my alltime favorite so far!

    9. I do wear it! Not always, but sometimes. I prefer gothic or steampunk Lolita. By the way your selfies are very cute!

    11. I'd been interested in BJDs when I was younger but bought my first a couple of months ago now. I've been into Lolita for 2 or 3 years now, and my style sits somewhere between classic and sweet. I thought I was going to enjoy gothic style when I started but those prints call to me...:sweat

    18. I wear mostly classic, but more and more pink and sweet things are creeping into my wardrobe recently. Mysterious!

      I haven't matched with my doll (yet), but I keep getting tempted by some of the lolita-esque clothes Volks puts out. The Autumn Classical series keeps calling my name, and those outfits remind me so much of some of the more plain pieces Innocent World releases, so I'm sure at some point I'll match our outfits.

    19. Another lolita here! haha look we're all coming out of the woodwork -- that's what happens when you post a lovely coord photo. I totally want to make clothes to match my dolls too, but so far none of my dolls are the kind of characters to wear the fashion!

      Did you know that there are collaboration pieces between lolita brands and doll companies? Mostly btssb and Volks. Can you imagine having real brand for your doll? That's the dream.

    22. I am excited to see what you make in the future. I discovered dolls around the same time I discovered Lolita fashion too. I started with anime model kits. I started seeing articles about dolls around the same time Lolita magazines appeared in the same section as the model magazines.

    26. I don’t know anything about Lolita or fashion but you look beautiful and you have a very nice personality i think your goals are great and I want to see them specially the matching clothing because i like when the owner and doll are co ordinated its very cool and interesting.

      I think its super neat that you sew it means you can get your dream outfits easier

      Do your doll family have names? I think you should add them to doll database or profiles because i would love to see what you came with them

      But once I make names, I'll be sure to make doll profiles for them, thank you for the suggestion ❤️
      i hope I can achieve perfectly coordinated looks! My next idea is to sew this dress since I have alot of extra fabric left from making a human sized hat

      I love the color combination and the dress it looks like the French fashion like Marie Antoinette but younger and modernized

      The hat looks like it should have been with the dress you posted so i think you did excellent even the lace looks similar

      I am actually really excited that you joined because i love this looks and i love your enthusiasm and focus so i am eager to see it done with your creativity

    29. Thank you so much, it took forever to color coordinate, the colors are very much alike in real life. It was a pillow case as fabric haha I got creative because fabric stores were not selling the exact color fabric. And I tea dyed the lace.
      i am superrr pumped for this doll hobby! I been doing lots of research once I bought my doll.
      I also plan on doing a faceup on my blank doll im getting this week, here's hoping I dont mess up haha!
      I also wanted to do a faceup on my friends dollfie dream blank as well, he had an extra blank head. Itll be good practice!
      I really researched into everything and watched lots of videos, ill be sure to write my progress on DoA
