Little Monica Honey Harmony:D

Double-post, but he's finally here!

I LOVE him! I'm also wowed by the poseability - especially the hip joint that lets him sit with his legs drawn up (none of my other 4 resins can do that, although one is a centaur so that's only natural). The only drawback is his neck barely moves - I know a lot of dolls don't look up that well, but he's the worst looker-upper I've had yet. Everything else is perfect though. He even came with the exact eye colour I wanted.
I already know he's probably not gonna be my last doll from Little Monica.

 

He looks so dapper in his suit! And I love the pink wig.

LM did such a great job on their faceups

About the neck, taking a look inside his head, I'm wondering if the reason for the reduced moveability is that the fact that its an O-hook instead of an S-hook? I havent tried it yet as I dont have spares lying around, but I'm wonder if changing it to an S hook will help...
Anyway I cut and styled his wig a bit. I'm not 100% sure if pink is his colour, especially because of his darker faceup, so I will probably change his look when I'm able to. I also want to change his eyes cos i'm not really fond of acrylics in resin dolls, these are just the ones he came with.

I also ordered him some boots and fist hands from Little Monica about a month ago so I should have those soon.

 

I think it has to do with how the head itself is sculpted. My girls have S hooks. Im going to try hot glue sueding the socket.
What color wig were you thinking of changing to?

 

That's a bummer... I really wish he could look up a little more. Do tell the result of the sueding!
I am considering making him a black cat or a dark brown/reddish fox, because I think his face would suit both, and I have both sets of magnetic ears that came with other dolls that I don't use. When I have time I'll play around in photoshop adjusting colours and see what works.

 

I forgot to report back here, but my Miyo ended up becoming a fox. I'm not 100% sure on this wig either though - I think it needs to be longer (and it bugs me that his human ears show a bit)

Hi! I have a little monica jerry (I need to take some pics of him one day) and he has a very limited range with his head. Like he is always looking down and i can't adjust it except to the right or left. Has anyone else experienced similar with this size little monica?

 

Does the honey harmony line come with an S hook or an O hook for the head?
