Maybe it was already asked, but was wondering if you know whatever or not Lillycat msd heads can fit the old Lune body?

 

@Demiurgo What I remembered from the pictures I saw that a msd head would look a really pin head on Lune body. The sd size Lillycat head usually wears 8~9inch wigs which are usually too big on msd heads.

 

@Helmi somehow I hoped they could fit the Lune body XD

Ah, so the heads are 8-9? I thought they were smaller XD

 

@Demiurgo Yup! Some can fit on 7~8 inch wig tho but it has to have a stretchy wig cap and even then there is trouble it staying on the head. But definitely bigger than regular msd head and especially Lillycat msd heads.

 

@Demiurgo I did a hybrid with a lune body, and used a fairyland sd sized head... the msd size is really too small

Hi, everyone! I preemptively ordered a wig for my Deavon and the wigmaker needs some measurements and I was wondering if someone could help me out!

1 head circumference (circle,girth) from the hairline to the bottom of the neck.
2- circumference (circle,girth) from the hairline to the middle of the nape.
3 - length from the hairline to the bottom of the nape.
4 - length from one ear to another ear through top of the head.
5 Width of the forehead.

As well as a required picture which I hope you can see. I'm an artist and wouldn't mind drawing something for you as payment if you wouldn't mind helping me out! Hooray, congratulations! I didn't realize Lillycat had released a large version of Amy. Is she on the Lune body (like Lyse and the original Ellana) or the newer Plum body?

Hi, I recently got a lillycat Elanna in pink tan secondhand. I'm wondering what are the differences between the regular and plum body? Does anyone have a comparison picture?
I'm so happy to have her. I was shaking when I was unwrapping her from the bubble wrap. Lol.

Hi there ! I am getting a Lillycat Ninon soon, and I would love some advices on where to find her clothes, and wigs.
I'm pretty new in BJDs but had some pullips so I already know a few wigs websites: Leeke, Crobidoll, Luts, Formydoll.... haven't found quiet what I wanted. I'm looking for a wig without bangs and there are a LOTS of wigs with them on these websites.
For clothes, I'm a bit lost about what size should I be looking for ? I'm looking for casual clothes mostly, but any advice is welcomed !

I thought the same thing, and now I'm casually looking for one. I really only like Ellana, though I've seen some Lyse's that were also lovely. Her face is a bit....too odd for me, though. I see me with a whole herd of Ellana's, I really want a grey, but am looking at a dark tan as she's the only one out there right now. I see them as my unicorn girls, honestly. There is really something different and amazing about them, and I am looking forward to having them in my collection.

 

Hello! Does anyone know of any bjd doll shoes brands that will fit the flat foot version of Lillycat Lyse? I looked on Etsy and was not able to find any on there. Thank you for your help.

 

I too would love to know where to get heels for my girl. She came with the molded heels, but I would love to have her in heels and nylons.

 

I had rRabit shoes on which had small heel and high heeled shoes from ebay. Both of those were up to ankle so the standing with them wasn't issue.

 

Ordered Lilas, about 40 cm tall, just the other day, now thinking of what she is going to wear.
There is a trousers tutorial on DoA, but does anyone have a basic pattern for a top or something? Her body is of a different shape to other bjds(((

There were smaller dolls than her. She is of the FID size a bit over 40cm, 42 or 43, i do not remember, she will come in august or September.
Do you know if they are posing well?

I am new to DoA, so sometimes have troubles finding information.

 

It doesn't help that these dolls have basically two names Lillycat which is the artist's nickname, but also the brand name sort of and Cerisedoll which is the brand name, but at this point is used much less and is not as prominent as Lillycat. And yeah I have definitely posted about dolls in the wrong size thread! Because it's not super clear, but if you look to the top of the page you will see the path and then discern if you are in large mini or tiny discussion areas. I always have to double check, but its not really a big deal.

 

Moderators have sent me here, so all complains are misaddressed.

From May 11th to May 24th, Rachelle is holding a new préorder for Ellana on the Plum body, in two new colours, dark purple and dark turquoise!

Who's going to order her?

Ellana has been my grail for so many years now, I'm finally getting her! My only concern is, I can't decide on a colour

 

Ugh, I can't decide either. I want her 1:4 Ellana release later this year, but I also want a spindly SD-sized Ellana... It's difficult!!

Which one are you leaning towards? I like both so much, but I thiiiiink I'm leaning more toward the violet. Is the blue resin pretty stable? I know some of the earlier releases weren't and tend to look pretty green now.

 

No matter how hard I try, I can't bring myself to like the smaller versions as much as I like SD Ellana. They lack something that I can only find in the bigger version, although I'm not an SD person ! Hence the fact that I've been resisting her for so long, but she's so rare on the Plum body, I definitely can't miss this chance to finally own her

I just placed an order for a Dark Turquoise Ellana, and I couldn't be happier!!

I've not heard much about Lillycat dolls changing colour, except perhaps the light blue which indeed turned a bit green, but this turquoise is already quite vivid, and quite green, so I'm not worrying too much. That's part of the reason why I chose turquoise, because dark purple is quite pale, and I fear it will look grey with yellowing.

 

Congratulations!! I would love all the Ellanas, regardless of size, even though I am also a mini person! I'm glad you were able to pick a color so quickly. I've seen elsewhere how a lot of people are picking the violet. I love gray dolls, too, so if she turned that shade, I would be okay as well. Realistically, I see myself waffling until the day before the pre-order to decide. I still haven't made any head way on which color lol!

 

Hello! I am new to this thread but super excited to join. I just order Ellana on the dark purple skin. She's so unique I just had to get her! I opt for face up so I can enjoy her for a bit before I sent her out to get redone with my character vision.

 

Anyone ever been able to get hold of leggings for Ellana? I can find zilch for those or patterns online.

 

I'm also looking at Ellana! I'd prefer her in her SD size, but was hoping for a sandy colored one. But purple is so tempting. Aaah, decisions ! ☺️

I’ve wanted a lillycat for years, just always seems to miss the preorders. Well not anymore! I got in just in time to order an Ellana last week.

I was lucky to also order Ellana in dark purple, such a gorgeous colour!

I've also got one in the dark purple incoming and I'm a bit nervous - I want to get started on looking for wigs and clothes but am afraid of doing so before I'm 100% sure about the color! :0 I'd hate to order stuff and then have it clash

 

I get that completely. I’m not even 100% sure on her eye size (I’m guessing small, but I seem to like my eyes on the smaller side, so how small is a mystery)

 

12 mm if we are talking about the new dark purple Ellana that has been recently on pre-order.

 

That’s helpful! I have a few of those (and 10’s if I decide I like smaller, which happens a lot...) I’ve got until at least September or October, depending on whether their time estimate is in days or business days, so I’m going to fight the urge to hoard eyes while I wait.
