nice post. I love the second photo so much, the detailed shadow one. when i take portrait photos i usually tend to use a smaller aperture, max 2.8. but i will try to use a wider one and see how it comes out.

Well, I may invest in a go-pro with my next paycheck but if not I'll have to experiment with my crappy digital when I can finally dig it out of storage. Thanks for the tutorial; can't wait to try it.
