I'd never heard of this artist before, but I looked at her website and her sculpts are so cute I really like the Sunny Lina 40cm one a lot; I feel like I don't see feminine sculpts with more hooded eye shapes like this that often.

Seems like everything is sold out at the moment but hopefully I can buy one of her sculpts in the future!

I wonder what the possibility of finding a Sunny Lina on the secondhand market someday would be?

 

I’ve seen LeMoon’s dolls online and I absolutely love them!! They do sell out fast though so I haven’t had the opportunity to buy one yet. I really like the sculpt named “Eat” but I don’t know if that one is for sale or not.

 

There are currently no dolls on sale on their website. I suggest you follow Lemoon on Twitter where they post when the next head is going to be released ahead of time, or try looking for Eat on the marketplace. ^^ The artist is currently preparing for a release of two new heads, but who knows, maybe they will re-release Eat someday.

 

You can always ask if there might be a re-release, but you should probably check if they are okay answering questions about re-release. I think some companies don't answer specific questions for example some don't answer questions like what so and so companies body will match with this particular head or will this resin color match this body. There are some where you can ask lots of questions and will answer. From what I recall Lemoon was good at answering things and is really nice.

I personally had a really good experience. I considered the experience nice compare to other experiences I had with communicating with others on email, q&a, etc. One company hasn't even responded to me, but luckily I didn't buy directly from them. It's understandable that companies can't respond to all emails or dm because they are busy, so I chose to buy from someone else rather than continously email or dm.

I didn't know her heads weren't as popular in the West. Her sculpts are so beautiful. I wish I found her sooner to buy more heads. I thought her head sculpts would be popular in the West. Her heads remind me sort of kpop aesthetics, a soft face and handsome features.

 

DAY was a re-release of a, I think, 2020 head, and I don't see any differences between the releases. ^^ So it's possible.
I really hope Perial gets released again one day. I missed the pre-order, and he seems to be quite popular too... Fingers crossed.

 

I love their sculpts. I have two, Eat and Lye. I'm patiently waiting for them to release Lina in SD size.

Yes, Eat was the first sculpt that caught my attention. I watched their Instagram like a hawk so I could snatch one when the pre-order opened.
I hope so too. I was tempted by the MSD release but I don't usually bond with smaller dolls and they said there's a SD release in the future so... Fingers crossed!

 

Glad to see the interest in Sunny Lina, because I also recently saw her and would like to own one in SD size. I tried to search for owner pictures, but sadly I couldn't find many, so it would be nice if more people had one.

Well, I don't have a Twitter account, but thanks! But I have a question. On the site it says that paying with PayPal is not possible, so those who bought directly from the artist, how did you pay?

 

I looked on the site it says they take "EXIMBAY" for credit cards. I looked up what that was, its a tool for overseas payments. I think you would make the payment through them at checkout, doesn't look like its something you sign up for (at least ahead of time).

 

Thank you! I also looked up Eximbay, but I thought it would be a bit extreme to make an account just to buy a doll head. But if you used PayPal, maybe it means that they just haven't updated their information.

 

Yeah they probably just haven't updated their information. Or maybe they just don't want their Asia/Korea customers using Paypal and its different options for overseas.

But anyways, LeMoon said they would do another order for D.Rus in the future hopefully its an open pre-order and everyone can get an order in. He is so similar to Cloudy L. and Perial maybe they thought he wouldn't be as popular. For me he looks as his eyes are a bit more open than Cloudy L. and less pouty than Perial with wider lips so he was perf for a character I'm shelling. I wonder if we will even see any on the second hand market who knows how few were made.

 

I currently own a Lemoon eat, and have a Lim on the way to me!

I purchase them via a chinese proxy who would purchase via group orders, then have things shipped out via a forwarder to my country.

 

Ohhhh I really missed previous releases! I love all the sculpts!

 

I kept meaning to post this here but, my new Lemoon Jium head arrived sometime last week! He's in white skin and I'm thinking that I'll be putting him on the Volks SD10 boy body! He's so adorable and honestly, it's good having a doll with a head size that's not massive again lol!

I got him today and he's gorgeous. Grin definitely has a lot of potential. I'm a little sad I won't be able to get him a faceup or body for a long while xD Need to stick him on my NS dolls and see who matches. He's pretty light.

 

I got my package today along with Redollent's body! The match is very good~

I'm desperate trying to find an artist who is open and can do a very similar style to Grin in the promo photos. He was the definition of perfection to me and I really want to find someone who can do it like that. I feel like these heads have very specific features that need to be emphasized for them to reach their potential.

 

I'm not sure if Rou is taking commissions atm or not but if they open overseas commissions maybe this style will work?
They are located in South Korea and I think they've opened overseas commissions in the past so asking them may not hurt?

I've been waiting for SD Lina/Sunny Lina release for so long and now they're almost up for pre-order, I found out LeMoon doesn't accept international orders anymore? I'm trying to find a proxy to help out but I'm sad... I've been wanting them in SD since the first announcement

 

I usually find some lemoon sculpts on twitter. Granted it’s Korean second hand and you have to have a bit of Korean. The tag for it is

I've just seen this info, and I've been waiting for Sunny Lina too. Have you found a way to get it?

 

Someone recommended Paysable so I put in the order through them but the pre-order was so short, I don't know if they were able to put in the order since they're closed on Sundays. I'll cross my fingers and wait for the confirmation. If not, I'll just have to find once secondhand... It was such a bummer

 

I also started looking for a Korean buying agent, but it was already late. I hope at least you'll be able to get one. Which colour did you choose? From what I've seen, white seems to be popular among the Korean owners, so I can just hope to find one in normal skin.
