Lee-el : 90cm Dolls

I'm really excited about this news! I can't wait to see more pictures, and especially the body, how it is sculpted. Just sad that there's no girl!

I'm curious on the price, as well. Considering Lusions are 10cm shorter than them, and they are usually upwards of $1300USD, I really wonder what these guys will be o.o

They seem like they will be having other sizes as well, but are pushing their most unique first. The back shots of the others are pretty nice looking, especially the bums...terrible for pants, but I just love anice one >.>; I already have a DSAM32 from DollShe, honestly those boys are already quite big enough for me, and I am 5'10' haha. Can't wait to see the, and I hope they will be supplying a good amount of clothes for you all to sample lol

hot damn! I want a large girl to work with... ^^ and wouldnt the 1300 price be a full set? I imagine a blank doll not outfit would be much less... but OMG the shipping ><.... anyhow, I am confused, I see so many different measurments ... what is the scale based on.... 1/3 or 1/2 of WHAT? ... because a doll that says its 1/3 and is 70cm is not the same as an 80 or 90cm claiming 1/3.
So I have decided to work from barbie scale which 1/6 is based on a 6 foot real life... so in that case a 90cm should be 1/2.... right O_o? this has been a dilema for me lol...

 

Looks like the price posted on them so far is 990.

I really thought my collection was finally finished but I LOVE tall dolls! Then again I still need to see more to see just how much I might drool over these.

Some super tall mature females are definitely needed too! My Loong Soul girl is the tallest good female. I like female Mecha Angel faces, but I dont' like their bodies so much. Would be great to have another good option in this height range.

They said they would reveal more on the 3rd.

 

These look really good so far. I wish they were as cheap as Angel of Dream's 90cms though.

 

It seems their heads are not for me but I'm totally looking forward to seeing that body!! I have ios 80cm doll and I feel it's very giant and long, though it's not so beefy like some idealian or iple eid.. But female 90cm doll with beautiful head would be lovely, i could even imagine gray skin or some other crazy fantasy colors.. prices would be crazy too then i'm sure haha


Why any company doesn't make just 100cm dolls haha, not always 70,80,90.. that would be the king size! I know that one 170cm but uhm.. human sized, too hard to handle lol.

 

XD Totally agreed Adalwolf!hehe I kinda feel like 100cm or so would be ideal. I wish I could make all my dolls that height. Dollmore's Lusion doll is the only one I know in that height range but I don't like child-like dolls at all. Their Elysia head is pretty and not as childish as the other 2 faces, but even if she was fully clothed, there are things about the body I don't like. Like the wrists and ankles being so thick.

I could be in trouble if more doll makers make 100cm dolls that I like.

 

I'm curious to see the girls as well. I tried their website and it is saying exceeding traffic limits. I guess I'll check back in a few days, all depends on the price and the look of the bodies.

Agreed with Eleysia I love her, but almost $3000 with shipping and all eek..will be nice to see some other companies doing these larger dolls.

 

I love Alzads outfit. To bad they don't make it for ID 72 size.

This tan guy has really cool outfit!! wow!! and their body looks quite nice. Let's see their future heads, i'm not very impressed now but it's better xD

Gorgeous bodies, still a little pricey for me but we'll see when the girls come out I may be tempted, especially with that wonderful tan color. I wonder if these will be a available at all times or just special editions? According to the site right now it says all of them are sold out.

 

Ok, pretty. But where are the posing pics? The sitting, the showing exactly how the joints work photos? Would love more close face photos so we can get a good look sans hair and shadows. And Holy #$*# on the price of the clothes and that doesn't even include shoes. Love to know the weight of the doll. Might have to get a stroller to lug this one around. My IDs and IH big guys are heavy enough. Can ya tell I'm in a state of shock?? That chant of "want BIG dolly" ringing through the back of my head isn't helping. Oh Santa, I know what I want for Christmas....

I agree. Lots of info is missing.. Posing pictures, blank heads and which resin they use? urethane or french? I expect urethane if there's no mention anything about french, but sometimes I've guessed wrong.. it does look urethane though, better!

Holy the prices just went up?? They were 1,567 for Alzad this morning, now he is 1,634.

I still have my fingers crossed that they will make kick-butt clothing for the 70cm range size.

 

Same thoughts here but please without rising prices like you said XD I noticed that too.. Well, too expensive for me atm, extremely.. but yes they are big and gorgeous.. nevermind.

 

If these guys only had double-jointed legs!.. I won't even have a second thought about buying them.

I just wonder.. Weighing >4.5kg including wig and clothes, won't the body be bulky on double-jointed knees or it totally depends on stringing and sueding?

I wouldn't say those heads are impressive, but they're not bad at all. As the "first heads", I think they're "neutral" enougth to please a lot of people.
I do like that body and it's really nice to see huge dolls other than AOD's (because I'm not really a fan of those), now people have another option for taller man.

The whole store looks promising, I really hope they'll release more heads for the big boys, and also girls to interact with them.
Also, I'm pretty curious about how ther smaller lines will look like. Accoarding to what I see from these big guys, I'm pretty convinced I'm gonna like them a lot!

About that, I think (as I could see from the pics) the joints have some kind of "lock" that keeps the legs streight, so the doll can stand better without kicking and falling down. If they are like some other SDs I have, the "joint lock" also locks when the leg is bent, so it can keep the position better.

Count me in for the comparison of Lee-el and AoD. Although I'll ask the company about their plans on double-jointed knees.
Love the sculptured veins on lower body! I very much look forward to see Lee-el's ladies..

 

Whew, I think I can breathe a sigh of relief on these guys. I'm picky even with the dolls that I have. The proportions are too off for me. I like 'em a little more realistic. Heads are too small, legs are too long and lack detail. The limbs don't have the definition that the torso has, which I find odd. I like my boys muscular, so that lack of definition in the limbs makes him too soft for me. The veins are really nice! But another odd detail when muscular definition is lacking.

I like that the hands and feet are proportionate though. Iplehouse's hands and feet are disproportionately huge while Mecha Angels and IOS's 80's feet are so teensy for their height.

Still in trouble if they come up with good tall girl sculpts though!

Compared to the few other 90cm dolls in existence, these guys look great!

 

Shame on the price. Way too much for me. Especially when I can get a Mecha Angel or IOS for several hundred dollars less. Those last ten centimetres aren't worth it.

 

I guess when there will be companies with 90cm lines in the future, prices start to get lower.. They're quite rare atm.. but i agree :P

OMG, yes! I would love it if more companies did these big gurl/guys! It would also make it easier to find clothes for them. I wish to see more big ones in this style but I would also like more child-like such as Lusion.

 

I wonder if they are going to do an immature 60cm to go along with these.

 

though there are many clild like SDs around, that would be great if the company made some of those, so they'd actually match their bigger dolls.

These boys are so very nice. AND THE CLOTHING, man please make it for 70 ish sized dolls, even if its 75cm it will still work on my ID72 lol.

 

I like the color of the fair skin, it seems so smooth and soft. The body is well built too, but the proportions are too odd for me (the head seems too small and the legs too long).
I agree with Nihmo, I can (and will) get an IOS doll with several hundred dollars less

 

Exactly what I said! hehe The thing about the head and legs.

I know I'm super picky but it bugs me that there are still no dolls in the 80-90 range that have perfect proportions and anatomy. I love my IOS 80, but he's got tiny feet compared to the rest of him and the finish on some parts, the thighs in particular, is really bad. He also has incorrect musculature, but that's fairly common in a lot of dolls. But imo he's the best sculpt and most reasonably priced large doll at the moment.

Mecha Angels have beautiful faces, but the anatomy is reaaallly bad with the body stretched out oddly in weird places. The worst part to me is that the thighs are wider from the front view than they are from the side view.

I totally forgot about the 85cm Usil from Lumedoll till now. I love his face, but don't like the overall shape of the frame of his body and he's not as muscularly detailed as I tend to like. He's another expensive one too at nearly $1,300.

That's why I wish a Chinese company would make some big dolls... not many make dolls as realistic as Korean ones, but they at least proportion well and all the ones I've received have a perfectly smooth finish and none have ever had seams. Plus they are far lower in price. Better quality in everything but the actual sculpt for less money. Wish there was a medium between the two, but I guess you can't have everything.

I loved IOS at first sight because they offer a fantastic doll with a reasonable price (700$ for an 80cm one is fantasticly good for me). Since I came into this world I've been searching for a "big boy" to start my collection and I was really divided (I wanted the herculean body, such muscles... *ç*) but IOS (especially Lacrimosa, which I hope to get as soon as it will be re-released) just has a special place in my heart
I'm not saying these new big dolls are ugly, on the contrary I think they're pretty awesome (I'd like that tone on the IOS infact) but they're.. too much for me, too tall and too pricey xD

 

I got a chance to see the LEEEL doll.
Oh, I have never seen such a realistic and gorgeous doll body!
Those muscles looks so natural.

I was wondering if it would be possible to put Iplehouse EID Head on this body.
So I put my Kiyomine head(Iplehouse EID Evan Special real skin) on the LEEEL Livan body(Normal skin).
The body skin color is very different from the head color, so I changed the body skin color.
Hmmm...the head is a little small, but not bad.

I'm in trouble if they make not-so-soft-looking boy faces XD I love grumpy or sharp evilish features so I still keep only dreaming and wishlisting IOS boys too. But someday i will dare to buy one Leeel if I ever got that much money once XD hope they will sell all dolls as basic without face-ups or clothes and with layaway!!

Very nice! If an Iple head looks that good on the body, the scale shouldn't be a problem at all. That isn't that different from how the Iple heads look on the IOS body. If they offer long enough layaways, there might be one of these guys joining my gang in the future.

 

they look fab posing, as mentioned above, nice n natural the heads (for me) seems a little too small for the body/out of proportion but they are looking good but that tan is a lovely colour especially on that body ...
