I was shown this human sized shoe pattern by a friend and attempted it in BJD scale. There's also a part two for how to close the heel. So far I've only been able to create it in 1/3 scale but I'm trying to figure out how to make it in 1/4. It's a good option for simple shoe making! Overall I'm happy with the successful results I've managed so far. All I used was thin upholstery leather, a leather needle, fabric scissors, a pen, and braiding cord. Anyways here's my results:
Those are pretty as well as cool! Thank you for sharing the pattern and your results -- the picture is really inspirational.
Very nice, I've tried making some using less cuts in the leather but it didn't turn out well, so I'm going to try this. Thanks!
If you click the link, it shows you how to draft a pattern with your foot. I just did that but with my doll. ^^
I've tried to make similar shoes for my 1/4 doll but was a total fail. I think I'll try again sometime thou yours look good
