Shopping Leather Boots

I think Freedomteller uses real leather.

SartoriaJ may, may not...? I thought they did but I can’t see any products that look like real leather to me.

Probably worth a message to them at least.

 

I got some real leather boots from Platform 9 3/4 via a pre-order on SpaceStudio BJD.
Shoes

 

Luts does sell leather shoes, but the info is not in any listing and you must contact them on their QnA board asking about specific pairs. Different colors can be different materials. I had no luck with lighter colored shoes, but many of the dark ones were leather.

 

Here're my go to list for leather shoes.

- Blue Fairy : No.1 of all time in this criteria, the style usually classic and plain, but real leather and quality is the point here.

- Soom : Their shoes are a bit harder to get but also made by genuine leather and have decent quality.

- Fairyland : Offer some leather shoes with their full set, I doubt it will fit any other doll though

- Little Monica(Defunct) / Daydream /and Lina Chouchou : These 3 Have some leather shoes available from time to time and I own some of them.

- SoylentGreen : Small japanese artist shop with wonderful leather work, his products are a bit hard to get though.

**There're also other small artist I found in doll convention here in japan that offer hand-made artisan quality shoes, but the price are out of my range so I didn't keep their contact (Will need some time to dig'em up if you need) ... Their price are however ... higher than my shoes ... That's insane

Fun fact : Volks did ONCE made leather shoes, but they change it and not doing anymore. I have a pair of their leather shoes from those ancient era

 

Dollmore uses cow leather for shoes and boots. They specify when that's the case on individual items.

From my experience Blue fairy shoes fit well with Volks msd, Volks sdc, DOC, soom little gem, Lina chouchou and most of the doll with similar feet size (Mainly, the one that can wear Volks msd shoes can wear Blue fairy TF shoes)

It will be a bit too big for minifee, charmdoll, rosette, myou, ringdoll and other smaller size feet doll though.

 

I'm taking back my suggestion of asking LUTS to identify their shoe materials. I asked a couple months ago and they refused to look into it and told me every pair I asked for was artificial leather. Maybe you'll have more luck than me.

 

Yep, I have a couple pairs of THIS from volks too.

Genuine leather, and have no issue with standing by themselves.

I'm looking forward to see more variations of this series.
