Aesthetics Leandra's new faceup

Jul 24, 2016

    1. It's been years since I last did Leandra's face, and it was wearing off of her nose; since I had to clean her up anyway I took the faceup off as well. I was so scared I wouldn't do it right a second time; worried I would end up making her look too different. I feel like I managed to do a good job on this, if not better than her first. She's still her, too!

I like to keep her as "natural" as possible; this time with a bit more makeup than her last faceup- subtle violet and black eye shadow, and slightly darker lips, I think I'm getting better at lip lining. Even though I forgot to soften the ends to blend better. lol

Feel free to give me constructive crit, of course; I feel like I'm still learning and will always welcome honest opinions.

And of course; since I'm talking about her old faceup as well, a comparison photo:

    2. It's great that you have managed to give her the same look, I prefer the new 2nd face-up as the lips are more plump & juicy looking the darker colour works really well. Also I like the eyeshadow detail on the 2nd one, all in all I think that the new face-up is something to be incredibly proud of. Thanks for sharing.

    3. I love the natural look in face ups, yours is really nice.

    4. That's some impressive consistency. I personally prefer the feathered and softer eyebrows on the old one, and like the lips on the new one. This could be personal taste more than anything and all in all you've done a great natural face-up. ^^

    5. It's great that you were able to give her the same look and expression in the new faceup. That can be hard to do! Her eyebrows are warm orangey toned. I personally would like to see them in a cooler tone, so they would be more unified with the cool tones of the lips and eye shadow. I like the natural looking lips. :)

    6. Oh I am; I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off! Guess now I know. ^_^

      Thank you! :3

      Thank you so much!

Thank you! I actually made the eyebrows to match her wig color so she would have hair color consistency; though I may add some brown to neutral them out a little; never too late for touch-ups. ^_^

Thanks everyone for the feedback! ♥

    7. I really love how you did the lips! Adding the darker and lighter colors in contrast does so much! I also love how you painted her eyebrows! They look so soft and natural and this time you moved them slightly away from the bridge of the nose which makes her look so beautiful. My only suggestion would be maybe consider lining the top of her eyes with black or brown (depending on if you are going for a natural look) That way it would help for the eyelashes to blend in more since they stick out a little right now, but that's only my opinion. Overall she looks great, super cute!

    8. The lips and brows definitely look much nicer on the new one! o: It's subtle but very nice and visible improvement.

    9. I think it's a nice improvement :0
But I think the grooves on the lips look a little too prominent- maybe consider using a lighter colour to add detail?

    10. I'm new to the hobby and have only done one face up - I found eyebrows to be the hardest parts and you've done a great job on the new one!

    11. Those lips are incredible. I love how the eyebrows look reminiscent of the old ones. I definitely am in favor of the new faceup. The new eyebrows compliment the nose nicely :)

    12. Yeah, you did marvelous lips in my mind!

I have got the same problem btw, I have got a doll with face up that I want to re-do, but am so scared that the new face up will be not that good that the old one...
