Ldoll Festival 5 - October 18-19 2014 - floor map available

Thanks for the answer unisieppari! Gosh those travel bags are super cute but sadly they don't come in SD size, and I'd really need something big enough to be able to hold an SD and an MSD still in their packaging I think I'll just have to buy one of those huge travel bags at a local store. I was originally going to take my huge suitcase to the convention, but I figured it'd take up way too much room when trying to maneuver around the venue.

 

I bought a doll last year and they asked if I wanted to leave it at the stand until the end of the day. This was from a dealer, but I know that a lot of the artists will offer the same. They will simply put a "sold" sign with your doll. I can't say that every single seller does it, but I know a lot do

Another thing I'm curious about - generally how busy does it get before the convention opens? is there a queuing order or do they let people in all at once? Would you recommend showing up early and waiting at the doors, or is it not worth it?

 

laurenk418, the sellers and staff get in first so they have time to organize the tables etc, and after that everyone else. If there is some certain doll(s) you want to purchase I really recommend that you get up early and go wait outside the doors, there will be line.

Okay, thanks for clarifying! Since I have the pre sale tickets when the doors open at 9:30am, should I start lining up at 7-8am? Or would it be more like 5-6am?

 

laurenk418 5-6AM is probably a bit early for queueing... ;-) But have an early start in the day if there is some special doll you want, people ARE lining up early, especially on Saturday.

Okay, I think I'll aim to be lining up at 7:30-8am then. I'm not planning on it, but I wonder how many people are aiming to get their hands on the grey skin Amber?

 

The grey amber is a prize in the raffle, so there's no reason to come early just for that one :P

All the raffle prizes are announced here. Wonderful! ^___^ How lovely all the manufacturers have given so many superfabulous gifts to the festival!!! >w< I'm going to try my luck with the raffles!

I also think that Soom put in their FB site a photo of... lilac Amber too...? The grey Amber was Dark Spirit, lilac Amber seems to be "Pure Spirit" so that's a different doll then. Maybe it is at their booth for sale?

 

Only one more week, I´m so excited! I can't wait to see everyone again

 

Oh I hadn't noticed there were two different ones. You're right, the one looks more lilac. There's no info on that one though, except that it's a Ldoll exclusive. Maybe you have to be at Ldoll to be able to order it. The grey one is definitely for the raffle though.
