Ldoll Festival 3 - BJD convention - France - October 6/7 2012

lelahel - I've been waiting for this thread. I definately will come (I'm planning to share a sales table with a friend) to the third edition of LDoll, the first two were so much fun.

 

When will the tickets be on sale? I really wnat to go for sure this year, as I missed out previously Hopefully this year is bigger and better.

 

We will be there, too.

 

I'll be there. My boyfriend are french, and we will go t France to see him mother... and go to LDoll.

 

I'll be there and share a table again with a friend. ^^ Great to see all new fabulous people there!

Aw, this shouldn't worry you!!
There's lots of people who'd be really happy to meet you and see one of your dolls Ldoll is a marketplace but it's also a big social event with a café area, and believe me not everyone comes in a group or knows anybody. Plus we really have many people from all over Europe, so there are tons of people speaking English :3

 

This has to be the BEST convention I'll never get to go too!!! Someone needs to run a shopping service! Seriously! Or international lottery like Volks!

I can't wait for pictures anyway!!

 

I missed out on the 2nd edition -- I'll be sure to come to the 3rd. Looking forward to it!!!

Great, I loved the first two conventions and will come to the third edition, too!

 

The ever coveted Enaibi doll!! Not that I could afford it... But I would saw off a limb for Satine!

And a Dust of Dolls doll... Any of the 26 cm ones would be awesome! But again, scraping together the cash! Even with 6 months advance warning... blerg...

 

yes, I know there are so many dolls I'd love, but saving up is so difficult currently. Anyway, if you're still interested by October drop me a line, I'm willing to offer shopping services for those interested.

Oh man I so wish I could go! Maybe I could use Sharkyra's kind shopping service offer. There are just so many wonderful dolls though, how could I pick which one to bring home?

 

I'm definitely coming again too this year! Last year was so much fun and we met so many nice people Plus, the convention is super well organised, the staff is very friendly and the whole atmosphere makes you feel so welcome. I can't wait until october!

I'd like to know more about the LDoll Festival, please. What kinds of dolls do they have?

You're going to be a very busy girl this year. Is LDoll shaping up as a OOAK show, trending toward BJD, or will it be filled with fashion dolls like the Paris event--any idea?

jillamyre, LDoll is not like the Paris show, because LDoll is BJD only.

There are usually a couple of professional sellers (for example Leeke, Peak's Woods, Migidoll, Sseiren, etc.) and doll shops and there are lots of private sellers/exhibitors, too.
Usually there are also contests in which every participant can take part, there are workshops to attend, there are lotteries and all kind of such stuff.

 

Just a question, when will the contests be posted?

 

Gosh I wish I could GO! I want to buy an Enaibi doll too!

 

Is there a list anywhere of the BJD makers who will be attending and which dolls they'll be selling?

 

I think the list of the sellers will only be up some time in late June/July or even later as sellers can still register till the end of August I think.

 

The themes seem interesting. I think I'm going to participate this year again ^___^

 

If nothing to help it happens, I will be there this year as well. I had a great time in the two previous editions of the festival. The themes for the contests seem also really interesting. I will try to participate for a third time now and will order my tickets to the convention as soon as they are available.

Will you give us an estimated date for the release of the pre-sale tickets anytime soon? I would like to buy them before booking flight and room just like I did for the two previous editions of the festival.

 

I'm eagerly waiting for the updated list of exhibitors, I want to begin planning about what I'm going to buy!

Does anyone know if black and white photos are allowed in the photo contest??

 

Good question. Right now I do not remember if there were black and white photos in the previous contests and I would also like to know if they are allowed. Although I got almost everything ready - I booked room at last recently -, I am still working on my plans to participate in some of the contests - I hope to be on time - and I am really curious about which exhibitors will be there this year.

 

I'm going to go to Ldoll for the first time. I already have got the flight tickets, I'm so happy!I would like to go as an exhibitor but I'm not sure if it will be possible this year.

I really wish i could go, it looks and sounds like so much fun, but no place to stay or (probably) enough money...

 

I've wanted to go the last two years but I have not been able to go for work. So this is going to be my first year!! I'm going with a group of friends, I'm sure we're going to have great

Kayren-Twist, I'll be behind a booth there, all exhibitors (non proffessional) will have a badge with their nick on it. I don't think it is a bad idea to have a badge with your name/nick on it so people will know who you are! Fantastic you will be there! I'm glad I'm not the only one being in big trouble with Bluefairy being there. xD

I'll probably be hanging around the Think!Pink stand if I'm not bouncing around. They're friends of mine.

It's a good thing I already decided that I'm allowed to get one doll, and I think it'll be a Bluefairy MSD boy. I'm totally bringing my face-up stuff to the hotel :'D
