My pink Happy arrived (Monster Kids Thailand ver. Happy), she is soooo pink! My pink Sophie hasn't been shipped yet so I was surprised by her color, I love it.

Edited to add: it is now confirmed that Happy is, with Sophie and Jia, my favorite LY sculpt right now. Never thought Miel and Lea would lose their place. In fact I love almost all LY, but Happy is just adorable Love her lips.

Congratulations! She's such a sweet cutie. Cilia are very interesting

 

I love her. So far every, and I mean every release of Sophie has tempted me, and I regret to write that I couldn't resist most of them. I wonder how cute she would look in light tan resin.

What I really love about Sophie is that she looks sad sometimes, or more cheerful, depending on the face-up. She is a bit like Miel, I think, who can look sad and happy depending on the face-up (Miel can look angry too, not sure about Sophie).

She is lovely.

I can't stand the waiting! Is someone else still waiting for the Master of Dragon dolls? I can't understand why Lati can't ship my dolls when everybody else seems to have received them long ago.

 

One of my friends is still waiting for her Human Miel and my Owl Haru arrived 3 months ago...

I bought a wig from FMD. I love it, the quality is great and so soft but the colours are changed, they're different from the web page XD it was for Mako, my Sophie, but it fits better on Hobbs.

I had a question about Lati releases. So sorry if it's already been asked before, I couldn't find it anywhere. But does Lati release all their special/limited dolls at the same times each year on a repetitive schedule? Also with the non basic skin tones, have they released more than one sculpt (say the more popular sculpts?) in the non basic skin tones more than once?

My motive in asking is that I totally missed out on the Halloween brown tan Jia and I know Jia has already been released in both the dark tan and normal tan. I'm guessing? that she's become one of the more popular sculpts so I'm debating whether or not to wait a little and see if Lati releases her again in the dark tan resin or if that would be highly improbable and I should just try to find the Halloween brown tan Jia second hand?

with Lati you never know what will happen next , each time a new date , dolls , sizes and the color of dolls
almost always in the release there is 5 dolls from the yellow line and one from the white line , but again you can't be sure of this , for example , the release of "Snow White" completely mixed this up , and so if the doll is popular They will be doing her each release again and again or it may never happen . Between the releases they offer basic dolls for sale (Only n/s color) , also when they go to the exhibition they prepare a mini release, 2-3 dolls , after the show they can be ordered online(only available with f/s) alsoYou can buy them directly at the exhibition , and not have to wait 10 months

 

Ahh thanks for that. I was hoping that it was at set times during the year so at least I would know when to expect the next one although I doubted I would be so lucky as for them to release another brown tan Jia. I do wonder how far in advance they plan out their dolls.. Thanks again!

we don't look far away , we can only guess : ))))) Now we are all waiting for a summer release , but no one knows when it happens ! check up more often here , Lati site , Lati Facebook page or forum and you will know when a new release will come ! : ))

@spih Congratulations on the arrival of your two Master of Dragon dolls! Their fullsets are amazing, I think this Haru's faceup is my favorite of all time, it's just so unique.

I have been a bit inactive but in my absence not only did one little one arrive back from Lati after a dolly mixup, but Happy returned too with her new faceup! I barely recognized her, she looks so different. San✌ gave both fashion advice upon arrival.

I don't know why I am so excited since I have so many dolls lol, I don't need more. I have to tell this myself everyday and every single hour

And I would like to say that all these dolls on pictures here are amazingly beautiful (as well as the pictures). Congrats to everyone.

 

They are really cute. I have too many LY dolls (can't tell how many, I just checked the number now, lol) but I kinda of regret not buying Miel and light tan Haru from this release, only bought dark tan Haru and I love him (her) to death but this face-up they made is truly gorgeous. Love their outfits too.

Sorry for posting again about those two links, but I think the next release will be "Secret Garden" and will feature Jia, Lea, "G. Yuri" , Joy, Cookie and G. Belle.

I am excited because this is the first time I discover something on Lati website. I really fell in love with mystic G. Belle and the Panda Sophie in tan resin.

Haha, it's ok, nobody paid attention because of so many beautiful dolls pictures here, I understand! I can't wait to see Cookie and G. Yuri. I am afraid of Jia, lol, love her.

 

After a longer break I came here again when I found out about new Lati's release. As always I am very exited to see new dolls but I would be glad if I will not need any new dolls. I know there are a lot of dolls from Lati that have peeling faceup, and one week ago I have noticed that my grey Sunny has a white spot next to her nose. It looks almost like a tear and I even could live with that, but I am afraid it could get worse, so I wrote to Lati. Today I got a very kind reply, they offered to fix her and to cover all costs. That really made my day.

That's great that they will fix your doll. I would not be able to do that since I would have to pay customs fees all over again, and they are really high in my country. Good also that they will now maybe be more careful with the materials they are using to make the face-ups. By the way, she is adorable!

 

Thank you! I think the situation with custom fees is similar in my country too. I already sent a Lati Yellow head to Lati to fix, and I was really afraid problems with customs. But everything was fine because Lati sent the head back in a smaller box, marked a small value and wrote "doll parts". In any case I saved screenshot of our conversation with Lati about fixing a doll, so I will be able to show it to customs if they will ask to pay fees. So you should not afraid to send your doll back to Lati to fix, but I hope you will never need that.

 

I've been inactive for some time, but I'm so excited about Lati's new release, though I doubt I need any of the new dolls.

Smilga, that's sad to hear your Sunny has sealant problems. But that's good to know Lati will fix her and she won't have tears any more

I think I am going to die of anticipation waiting on the full details for this Secret Garden release. Especially Jia, it's probably too much to expect her to be available in the brown tan..but a girl can hope!

I finally received TODAY my Miel from Master of Dragons.... ONE YEAR AFTER.... She´s gorgeous, but really? A year?

She is really beautiful! Congrats. Yes no news from Secret Garden, only the doll fair (?) in Beijing where they are going to sell Mystic S. Belle in tan skin (Panda). I hope they make this doll available for us, poor customers who live far away I am not a very big fan of S. Belle but I love her mystic version.

I love Miel so much! This is one of the most adorable Miel versions. She's such a versatile mold. I'm thinking of getting one of my tan Miel with a face-up like this!

How many people have gotten their Master of Dragon dolls so far? And are any still waiting on theirs?

I'm participating in a split for some Master of Dragon Haru items but the split leader has stopped responding to messages (I have opened a paging thread of course and am doing what I can to get in touch with her)

 

I am still waiting for my doll in Master of Dragon but its lati white though.

 

My tiny Master of Dragon baby dragon finally arrived! (I won it as a gift for ordering by June the 30th). I got other dolls from the release a bit earlier, though I suspect that Lati would have held the whole order until the dragon was ready if I had not written them twice and asked if they had forgot my order ;-)

Thuban has a baby brother!


Now the little guy needs to be painted. I only painted the eyes black for now so that he can see.
