My B and the B dolls arrived in The Netherlands on the 22nd of august tracking has not updated since. Even with the weekend in between it usually does with in two days it's been 5 days now. I know it will turn out alright and they will show up soon but it is making me a bit anxious checking tracking every few seconds.

 

Love all of your cute kids! You are making me want to get a Benny The only color you're missing is blue LOL. I still need lilac and dark gray - someday. It's hard to think of ordering from them directly again because of the wait times, but I know they will come up with something I can't ignore. I do have some points ---- Oh wait, after looking again, we are both missing green and dark tan. It never ends

i just love how emotive you can make a Lati face? There have been several dolls that would have suited my dolly concept from other brands, but I just love the amount of expression that Lati has in their faces!

 

Thanks guys! Yeah I did have snow queen Miel but I found the color hard to put wigs and clothes that I liked on. They are just too addicting and now that you've pointed out the colors I'm missing I want them! Maybe if they did a slightly darker blue and green I'd like them more.

 

Oh and I would like to ask everyone's opinions! I'm looking for an 'older brother' for my Lati Sophie, who do you think has a (SLIGHTLY!) older sculpt that can be passed as a boy? :P I think Haru is adorable as a boy, but I think Sophie tends to look a little older than Haru

 

I think Miel or Momo would work well... they're both really cute as boy sculpts, and I think they look a little older than Sophie.

FluffleNuff Completely agree with you about how expressive Latis are! Plus the company faceups are just so wonderful whereas I feel some other companies require you to send your bebe to another artist to get a lovely faceup. I like thepeachpeddler's sculpt suggestions for an older brother, Momo and Miel are great sculpts for this. I like Miel better because his sculpt has a softer expression but Momo would make a cool, tough older brother. Not sure if you were aiming to put this brother on a SP body but both of those sculpts look great on it.

Miel makes a great boy. I also really like Lea as a boy, and I'm currently waiting for my basic Lea to ship to me from Lati so I can get my Lea boy all put together. I had hoped that maybe a blank basic would ship sooner than the waits for the LE releases, but I was wrong. I also think Coco and Ruki and Pero make great boys who look a bit older as well. I'd personally love a Kuku boy but I think he'd end up looking more the same age as Sophie.

I just got a shipping notice for my Lady Pot Sissi, yay! I'm so excited, my first Lati is on its way to me! :-D Thanks to those who have shared photos, I'll be sure to do that, too. The fun thing is that I'm not sure if my Sissi has white skin or normal skin; I asked for a change to normal skin after I made my order on the Lati Q&A board, but I couldn't read Lati's reply. We'll see. :-)

My Ms Potts and Belle will be delivered today. After 6 days of no tracking update it did today which is weird but I don't mind anymore more so happy I will see them soon.

 

I'm getting a basic Lea with Fun Fun faceup I can't wait! I'm so impatient- I can't imagine waiting 8 months from the company!

Congrats to all those who have new Yellows on their way home! I recently adopted a tan Miel that I need to take some pics of. I love her!

Well, that's true--and a lot cheaper, too! But, at least with a real baby, you don't lose interest in it within the nine months! I have noticed that when a doll takes too long to arrive, the thrill of it is gone for me some times. I guess I just can't stand the anticipation!

 

Lati did such an amazing job on her face up it's just gorgeous.

 

Congrats on her, Lillyroos! She's amazing! I really regret that I didn't order her when I had the chance. Now I can at least enjoy your pictures.

Lillyroos Wow, she's perfection!! I think the Sissi sculpt is so pretty - she looks elegant - and her fullset is one of the best I've seen. Can't wait for my Gems of Heaven Sissi now!!

I forgot to tell you all that I started a fun little mini survey for Lati Yellow a few days ago! It's just to figure out the community's favorite sculpts, least favorites, and favorite collection. Once enough results are in, I'll post them here, on Flickr, and on Facebook. And I also never shared my newest addition, Sumie (Cookie), I took a photo of her next to Story (Lami) several days ago. You can see the head difference quite a bit here. Lami to me has always had an average head size in comparison to other Lati sculpts, but next to Cookie her head looks a bit larger. I think it's cute though, adds to Cookie's sad, delicate look. So excited to have a Cookie in my dolly household for the first time, she's so adorable.

too true. i think lati should let luts take over, then maybe we'd get the great shipping sped of luts, and tans available all the time.....

Wintryabyss: Congratulations on Sumie! She is adorable. She and Story look great together. Their skin tones look like they are the same color! I also find Cookie's head is one of the smallest though oddly one of my Cookie's heads is slightly smaller than my other Cookie dolls' heads! Like Lillyroos, I too am wondering what the results of your survey will be. If I had to guess I would say the most popular sculpt is Lea or Miel. I unfortunately can't decide one for myself though. I have too many favorite sculpts to list! Lol!

Lillyross: Congratulations again on your little ones! I cannot get enough of looking at your new girls! I wish Jia were available in tan too! Maybe in another preorder, but hopefully not too soon! I also think pink face ups would look good on the tan dolls too. My Aladdin OE Coco has a pink-ish face up. I think it's hot pink, but it does still have orange undertones. I did not notice how pink it was until I looked at it next to Aladdin Miel who has just the orange or peach color. I agree that a light pink face up like your Sissi's would be beautiful. However its possible light pink may show up better on white and normal skin and get toned down by the tan skin. Thus if Lati made a tan Sissi with the same face up as your white skin Sissi it may not be as nice. The white skin may be like a blank canvas. Lol.

I think you hit the nail on the head, so to speak! I love your Miel! She's so cute! I still haven't taken any pics of my new tan Miel--ugh!!!

 

Dollique Thank you so much. I keep looking at them all the time too. I thought Sissi's white skin was just not for me because I love Lati tan so much but now I'm not sure any more she is so beautiful. Yes I hope Lati will take their time and ship all the dolls from all the releases first before doing an other event.
My Aladin Coco has peach/orange face up it's a really dark peachy orange but still orange lol not pink at all. I agree Lati should not use the same pink colors on a darker tan doll as B and the B Sissi but some Lati tan are so light it might even look lovely on them. No matter what shade pink they use I wish so much for a Lati doll with pink face up Lati will know what shade to use to make it beautiful. My tan Miel has pink custom face up and I love her soo much she looks stunning. I wish Lati would mix it up a little they have been using all kinds of peachy shades face up for so long a difference would be nice. Or they could let us choose the color then everyone would be happy. The lips of my BC Lea and Olympos Sunny are reddish I'm happy about that but I would still love to see a Lati with pink face up .

 

Hi everybody! My B&B Sissi is here, and she's a cutie! She did come with normal skin, which is pretty yellow, but I'm happy with her. She is so beautiful! One question, though - how do you attach the little hat? It didn't come with a pin, and in these photos it's just loose on her head.

 

roslyn She's the first normal skin Ms Pot I have seen she is beautiful. My hat also did not come with anything to attach it to her head. But you can just sew a peach of ribbon or thread underneath the hat and tie it to her hair it will stay in place. You can also use a hair clip on the back of her head that will also do it.

 

All your Sissis are sooooo beautiful!

Wintryabyss I took your survey and I'm actually really glad you're doing that. I'm new to Lati and the first sculpt that really intrigued me was Lea. I have a feeling Lea will be one of the most popular I'm ver interested to see the results because I have yet to see a Lati in person (my Lea should be here tomorrow!!!!!) so I have been wondering if there are some sculpts others really love and I haven't really noticed yet. I'm sure some sculpts photograph better than others as well...

Hello this is Lati.

Above all, we profoundly apologise for the late delivery of “The Beauty and The Beast”
All our delivery staffs have been working even on weekends since few weeks ago to catch up the delay.
During National Holiday off our staffs are taking extra work so as to ship out customers’ order as many as possible.
(*Except for the delivery, other transactions will start on 11th September)
Considering the delivery situation at this moment it seems to be able to catch up most orders approximately by the third week in Sep.
We feel really sorry again for our customers who have been waiting for too long showing generous understanding.

As soon as “The Beauty and The Beast” is done “The Chocolate Fairies” will start to be shipped out.
Before the delivery for “The Chocolate Fairies”, we would like to ask our customer to do us your favour.
We have been recently noticed of breaching the contract from our partner, who had produced the wigs for Lati’s White Line dolls, due to some problems in their factory
Consequently, we have urgently contacted few companies and finally set up new business with one of them.
However, the wigs for “White Mint” and “Caramel Biscuit” among the Chocolate Fairies will be stored in the middle of October.

For the customers who have purchased “White Mint” and “Caramel Biscuit”,
Other dolls and optional items will be delivered first, then the wigs will be shipped in October.
Fortunately, the wigs for “Dark Crunch” have been stored so that they will be shipped with their wigs.

We are deeply sorry about this inconvenience.
It was unpredictable accident to us.
We will be very grateful if you could consider this situation with kind understanding.

We have disappointed you so far, but will do our best to improve our delivery service.

I know this is an awful picture (taken with my iPhone) but I'm too impatient to wait for my camera battery to charge. I received my very first BJD today! A Lati Yellow basic Lea with fun fun faceup I love her so much! I made the dress for her but I haven't finished it yet LOL! I still need to add some trim to it!

I think they might ship the gems of heaven dolls late december or januari since it's already september. I hope you will see her this year though. Fingers crossed.

i've lost track of the realeases that are still outstanding. it sounds like they are planning to get both beauty and the beast and the chocolate fairies (minus their wigs) out in september. how many releases did they do after the chocolate fairies?

 

They had the Gems of Heaven (Sissi in three resin shades) and the Legend of Lati edition. I think that's it?

 

Currently we are waiting for dolls of 4 different releases...

Aside from all of the LE releases, we're also waiting on at least one basic ordering period, as rkold and myself have yet to receive shipping notices for our basic dolls ordered at the beginning of February.
