I wonder if Lati makes their own eyes or they buy it from other company?
I've bought some from ebay, Luts and now I have Mako eyes...But I still want the "following" eyes.

 

Lilliroos, thank you, I think they did, too! I was actually wondering if her faceup would be more orangey, but it's a very sweet pink.

Feli-chen, you're right, they do go well with him, haha. He's so cute!

I finally find out that it's Dollflower eyes, which I was looking for.... but I see that the beginners can't participate in purchase at DOA.
It's a pity I study English, but I don't know Korean at all

 

My first doll was LittleFee Ante Elf Full Package (White Sylph) and by the way she is still with me. She is very nice. Then I've bougtt Leah tan & Pipi tan, then Pukifee Ante tan & Vanilla tan..I do love them...
But one day I saw Lati Yellow and it was love at first sight. My Lati all are tan or tanned. I adore them and I can not pass by the Cabinet without looking at them.
My husband say it's an addiction but I'm sure it's a magic

 

I think if I remember correctly Dollflower only offer eyes for sale once a year and they only offer select sizes for order at any one time. The next Pre-order some time this Summer will be 20 mm, 14 mm and 12 mm. I would recommend this thread on Dollflowers.

They are really nice eyes, but they make the wait for a LaTi look like nothing. I waited more than 9 months for my last Dollflower order.

Littlefees are super cute, but they're the same size as Yo SDs. LaTi Yellow are the same size as Pukifees. Pukifees are really cute, but I prefer LaTis.

 

I don't think there will be another order until Summer time at the earliest. ^_^;

Honestly, they're nice eyes, but I prefer high end glass like Silver or Hitomiya. The question is will my Silver eyes be finished first or will I receive my Lulu head/Monster House order first. I'm thinking it is going to be the eyes ^_^;

 

Dollflower eyes are gorgeous! I hope that you're able to join the latest pre-order..whenever that will be. And everyone's photos as always are gorgeous too, so cool seeing how different the same sculpts look just based off of giving the little Latis different styles.

I ordered a wig from Lati 2 months ago and today they e-mailed me saying it's out of stock (Obviously didn't say so on the site when I bought it)...like thanks for telling me 2 months later? I've had my newest girl sitting here, waiting for that wig for two months now only to find out she's not going to get it. I had a secondary wig I contemplated, and it's sold out on its respective site now for good. Seriously thanks, Lati..

Lati really needs to address their wig issues; I remember there being a time where no wig was out of stock forever, they'd always go back up for sale again in a few months. They used to regularly put out clothes too for all sizes. Now it seems like Lati has zero intention of re-stocking any of those items. I've read of instances that even people who ordered the wigs that came with their basic Lati Yellow versions having never received the wig in the box without notification. They contacted Lati about it and the response was like: "Oh btw, it's out of stock, sorry. Want a refund?" Just unacceptable and such a shame too. Feeling slightly disappointed overall. >.<

 

Did anyone start getting the beauty and beast collection yet? I have ordered the candle holder haru and have not heard anything TIA

 

Chinadoll - I ordered from both Monster House and BatB. I have not gotten my MH order yet and I know some people are (or were recently) still waiting on things from Olympos (items mostly I believe). I don't expect them to ship BatB for several more months at their current pace.

 

I have a Monster House Coco on order and I've asked them a few times what's the hold up and they have literally said, "No particular reason besides alot of orders."

Ooh! I do think he would be lovely tanned. I wonder if I should have been patient and waited for a tanned release (which I'm pretty sure lati would do since they've realised where the demand is). I love all your Latis, wish I could see them in real life.

Lilanie, are you still waiting? Lati sent my doll yesterday! In a month I should be getting her Customs here are not only too expensive, it takes ages for them to release the parcel.

I feel really bad for all the waiting Olympos folk. I've been kind of appeased after getting my basic Sunny at last, but give it a few weeks and I know I'll be really impatient again with waiting for BatB to start shipping. *sigh* Just wondering, am I the only one here who ordered Mrs. Potts Sissi? Most people seem to have gotten Haru and Belle. Maybe I have really strange taste, though I did love both of those dolls as well.

not strange taste. i liked mrs potts too, but could only afford the one and the chance to get a tan white belle hadnt come round in a long time, who knew when it would happen again?

Be-Life That's such a long time. EMS is usually so fast it gets to The Netherland within 2 or 3 days. But then our customs holds it for a week or two if your unlucky but never a month that's so bad. I do hope you get lucky this time and get it sooner.

Lilanie That's so crazy. Waiting for my Monster House Coco is driving me a bit nuts but for you it's worse. I know you don't like to ask. But I would this time even if it is just to set your mind at ease.

Ayla160 I Ordered Ms Potts and Belle. I was lucky I could afford both at that time and they look so cute together. If I only could afford one I would have ordered just Ms Potts I really love her look she is so cute. Why do you have a bad taste? Your not sure about your decision?

Well, sometimes it takes less time, but the worst is not knowing how much I'll pay for it. Sometimes it's 60 dollars, sometimes 140 dollars (yes, it has happened once). Well, at least they sent her. Can't wait to see my cutie

Chinabun - oh my gosh how precious I'm pretty happy to see owners pics of MH coming in (except for the fact that they still haven't shipped out some Olympos babies). It helps knowing they're sending something out. Weirdly enough, I feel like time has flown even though I ordered my Sophie back in September I guess being busy with school the past few months has helped.

There is the link again where people discuss how to order Dollflowers. They're made of urethane and are nice eyes, I just like other eyes just as much or more and I don't like the super long wait times.

Speaking of which, Lilanie, I'm so sorry you're still waiting on your centaur. I think you should definitely ask LaTi again, perhaps your email/post got lost when they were doing Gems of Heaven dolls and answering questions on those. It doesn't excuse how long you've waited, but I can easily imagine something getting lost in all the questions about a release.

BTW anyone have any ideas when it is 30-35 business days for the January Basic Order? I'm wondering when I will be able to get points for that one. (On top of the 15% points I'm owed on my Monster House order...)

 

This is what I'm worried about too, I ordered the body paint as well and I really like the faceup Noa has, so I hope I can keep her as is, I definitely don't want to rush them, but boy it is a bit disheartening seeing so many other dolls go home and still waiting for Olympos *sigh* It just makes me glad I didn't cave and order B&B Haru... I keep trying to force myself to think that anyway, gosh they are so addictive!! haha

She is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the purple hair with her grey resin, magic! BIG Congrats!!

 

I'm officially moving in under a month now, I haven't really lived in my apartment since December but it's still my primary mailing address. I need to email Lati and let them know if my MH Kuroo doll doesn't ship soon it needs to be sent to my actual current address, I feel a bit ridiculous that I have to do this for a doll I ordered over six months ago

I know how you feel Lil Spark, I was sooo debating on which sculpt to go for and actually ended up going for Coco and Kuroo in the release - but when I saw this girl for sale in the marketplace, I just needed her like I need air to breathe Her proper wig arrived today and its pink :p Ill have to take a few new shots but here is a tease:

I had such a hard time deciding between purple Coco, green Kuroo and dark grey Lea... In the end I had to get the purple Coco because I still regret that I didn't get purple Haru. At least I have my grey Sophie that I love to pieces and hopefully there will be another Lea and another dark grey doll for me one day

My Gumdrops pre-order arrived yesterday! I wasn't sure who would be getting the 14mm eyes in my order but Seabiscuit ended up the recipient...Looove the faint aqua color with her purple theme..*__* They're so sparkly and really pick up the light so well. The iris is quite a bit smaller than the ED iris though (I always go for the bigger eye size for my dolls >.<) but I'm used to it now and love it.

Despite my elation, Seabiscuit doesn't look like she's loving it...forever grumpy!

Those are lovely eyes! I just got my Ruki on Thursday so I will need to order her some eyes asap; the 14mm pink stocks they sent are giant. I forgot about Gumdrops I may have to look into those.

Now ... can you tell me how long it took for you to get them? I'm hearing 8 months. Is that a typical Lati producing/shipping time?

 

Usually the wait time is about 5 months however Lati have got seriously behind with orders and some orders are taking considerably longer, up to 9 months I think. But it's very hit and miss. I received my Olympos Sissi on New Year's Eve yet some people are still waiting for Olympos dolls.

 

I'm starting to think that may be it! Some combo of the painting and the centaur body. I don't think I've seen any with the blushing yet. I ordered the outfit too, silly me. It seems like the bigger the order, the longer it usually takes

 

So sorry everyone is still waiting. Hopefully Lati will get into a groove and start getting these orders out.

 

I'm actually a bit worried about the longevity of Lati, they are seriously behind now and I hope they can cope. I don't understand why they don't get more staff and step up production, but if it's due to financial reasons, that in itself is worrying.

 

I know that LatiDoll outsources their blushing to some other individual who picks it up and blushes the parts. I found this out from my very late Bat Child order with the blushed parts when I demanded an explanation..it's all based off of when the blush person comes by to blush and they often hold things up. They may finish blushing a bunch of parts then not get back around to blushing more parts for another month etc, it just depends on that person(s) who they outsource to.

 

all the more reason for them to offer the limited edition dolls blank then. since there are a lot of us who order them just to get the unique skin tones and don't want/wipe the face ups anyway. that would let them get the dolls out quicker since they wouldn't have to get as many painted!

 

Agreed although they're not even getting naked, faceupless basics out in a timely manner.

 

I just got 15% delay points for my Basic Yellow Benny who I have ordered in mid Jan. At least Lati is giving out points without arguing.

I have to admit that despite all the delay and waiting times, Lati is still my favourite doll company, being in the hobby now for 5 years .

 

I've been collecting Lati about the same time as you and I am a huge Lati fan, but I'm not buying from them again until I'm sure my money is safe and the dolls will be sent out within a reasonable time frame. I just feel uneasy, about the delays, the change of ownership etc etc. And I'm lucky in that I have some Latidolls I love already and don't *need* more (of course I always *want* more )

 

Does that mean we can already ask for 15% points for the Beauty and the Beast order? I placed my order in december last year.

I got a nice surprise today. Lati had told me that they'd ship my missing trident + grab hand and nektar goblet (for my Olympos Haru) once they ship my Monster House Laches. However, today, I received a package with the missing items and a free wig! I guess they changed their minds about letting me wait until my Monster Laches ships out

 

I ordered my BATB Haru on January 3rd, and if I'm doing the math right, I have to wait until May 26th to ask for my 15% points. The limiteds have a longer wait time than the basics (even though I didn't order any outfits or accessories. LOL! ) .

 

It was exactly the same for me but in reverse! Couldn't afford both, and I already have a Belle (though not tan), so I opted for Sissi. WISH I could have ordered both, of course! I can't wait to hear from you guys about the new white bodies.

They look adorable together, it's great that you were able to get both! No, no, I'm still completely sure about her. I fell in love with Mrs. Potts the moment I saw her and still love her now. I was just joking about having bad taste because I was thinking no one liked her but me--everyone just seemed to be talking about Belle and Haru. I'm glad to see more Mrs. Potts love, since I think she IS sooo beautiful!

That's right, I forget about that category of their wigs! Thanks for reminding me! I guess I just always seem to REALLY love the ones that aren't available in the right sizes, and I think only about those, haha. Except for the Lati white sized ones--I adore many of them, but they always seem to be out of stock. Of course.

Chinabun, I love love love love Fifty, and I love that shot of her with the black and white background and white dog! It all makes her wonderful purple wig stand out even more.


I have a question about points, though. What are the actual rules? How much time needs to pass (is it in working days?) before what percentages apply? Also, are there different amounts of time/percentages for limited and basics?

 

Ayla160 I thought there was a notice explaining the points system, but I can't seem to find it. To my knowledge, basics are supposed to be shipped out in 35 days, limited editions in 65 days (working days for both). Once this time has passed they are eligible for points. Depending on how long the delay is, it is either 5%, 10%, or 15% - I can't remember off the top of my head how long it is when the amount changes. In any case, you usually have to ask Lati for points, so I would suggest either waiting until the doll ships, or you are for sure past the 15% mark to ask, so you get the full amount of points you are able to get.

My Wizard of Oz Bayer, Saja, got a new friend yesterday. I love her to death, but she's been very reticent about telling me exactly who she is. Marzi (the Pipos Ringo) arriving helped a little - Saja can talk to animals!
