Here's my little one! My laptop charger broke so its only phone pics for the moment. I think she's on the version 2 body. The only thing I'm not loving about her is the eyes. They're a light pink but I think they're too light. I'll probably replace them with darker pink ones.

 

She's adorable! I got the Alice version and it's already shipped, but it might arrive much later because of customs here... Did she come inside a yellow Lati box?

 

She came inside a light blue one. It had the lati symbol on top.

 

Klein, your Alice is soooo adorable! Congratulations! I love her even more now! She looks great in your photos! Is she paper white or a little bit yellowish? She looks yellowish to me in all photos. The new Lati's NS is very pale now and is a little bit yellow.

They've actually been really nice about it. I didn't push them unnecessarily but I asked them about the possibility of receiving my doll in April and if they were too backlogged I could wait. They said they'd already started shipping out to their local customers in Korea and would need 2 weeks to prepare mine but I got the shipping notice 3 days later.

 

Lil Spark Congratulations. Lol I had the same reaction Lilanie had. It's so sad but so funny at the same time.

I really wud love a lati yellow doll but the things I've heard about the waiting really puts me off!! They are the cutest little dolls but I guess I'll have to look for a second hand or wait the extreme lengths....

 

Well the Dollheart website says she's white skin so that would be right, she's lovely!

 

Just wanted to share a photo of a cherry tree and my grey Sophie. I think she is my favourite doll.

I hate the "preparing items" too! It's so deceiving. In reality we really are in limbo not knowing what the status is

Lilanie, wow, I've never received an email from Lati before they ship my dolls. In fact one time Lati sent my order, my post office never notified me and after a few weeks my post office shipped my dolls back. I only found out by randomly going on the Lati website and checking the status of my order to learn that they had shipped it 4 weeks ago! An email would be lovely!

 

Lilanie: I never even knew Lati sent emails! They have my email address and I even gave them my phone number but I've never been contacted by them. Even when I ask them a question on the Q&A board I have to go to the website to view their reply. I'm curios too why some people get emails and others don't. An email would have definitely saved them postage on having to resend my dolls since I never knew to expect them or look out for them the time my post office sent them back.

Sorry for the double post. I tried to edit my last post by adding the photo, but I wasn't able to.

I finally took some of the little ones out of their boxes to photograph!

I only have one Lati Yellow which I bought from here and would love another, but the waiting period puts me off. I am just too impatient to wait more than 3 months for a doll.

I also never get an email. Yes it's strange why some do and others don't get an email.

I'm feeling depressed... waiting nine months for a doll is not helping me. I ordered Sunny (Olympos) on July 17th, last year. Nine months later, and nothing. I think I never waited this much for a Lati doll. I want my Monster Coco also

Lati should begin to sell limited in numbers and prepare them before they sell them, like the dollheart dolls seem to have been done. Otherwise this will be going to get a little complicated in the future, I think.

 

9 months... Wow... I can't even imagine how Long I will have to wait for my dark tan Sissi even though she was limited my number...

 

OH MY GOODNESS, MY BASIC SUNNY HAS SHIPPED!!! I'm just so excited! I don't know about anyone else, but after seeing that "preparing items" everyone is talking about for so long, I start to think that it's never going to change--it's just going to say that forever, haha. (Sorta funny, sorta not, I guess.) I ordered her Nov. 1 and just finally broke down and sent an email, just in case, asking if they had any idea when she might ship. Lati thanked me for my "warm words" and said they'd rather not give me a time period so that I wouldn't be even more disappointed in them--but not to worry, everything was in order. BUT, then they shipped her a few days later! Soooo happy!!! I can't wait for her!! I'm sorry for all those still waiting, though. I know it's so hard, and sometimes it's harder hearing about others getting their dolls.

Feli-chen, Olivier is adorable. This is a huge compliment, because I never find myself wanting boy dolls--but I would love an Olivier. ^_^

PinkPanther, love Belka's hair and expression, haha. She just makes me smile.

 

It would be easier to wait 8-9 months if everyone had to wait that long. But some people get their dolls after 5 months and other have to wait 3-4 months longer for the same doll, no matter when the dolls were ordered. That's what makes the wait extra hard...

 

Be-Life I'm so sorry to hear that. I understand you being so frustrated I would be to. I waited 7 months I can't believe you are still waiting. Please ask Lati.

Lil Spark and Lillyroos, yes, nine months is too much I asked Lati, and they said they'll send Sunny next week. I hope they do, by the time she arrives, and with customs being so slow here, I think I'll receive her more than ten months after purchasing her. I'm always very patient but I can't say I'm not a bit disappointed. Hope I fall in love with her when she arrives.

 

Do any of you have a favourite fishing ground? aka spot where to buy second hand lati lady's? I need more Lea's in my life and the DoA marketplace is a bit... short on them XD

 

Spring is here!!! Though it is still a bit on the cool side, little Bella went out to play this morning and found a sweet baby bunny who offered to share his flower parasol with her! And his little sister who just wanted a cuddle![/URL][/IMG]

I'm so sorry to hear that. My friend told me a trick -- to add another translated message to your original email, in Korean, because according to her someone else will read the messages in English. And always to email instead of using the Q&A board. I don't see a direct link between that and getting the doll but I follow that advice since with such long wait-times, I'm willing to try a lot of things...

 

Wow Riverrun, I love to see the first pics of Jason/Mani! He's gorgeous!! What a cutie face I hope you'll post lots of pics.

Concerning the waiting times, I'm now waiting since 4 month for my Basic LY Benny with face-up. I wonder how much longer the wait will be. But Lati is not the only company with long waiting times. I am still waiting on a Fairyland Pukifee Ante since 5 month.

 

hi! I'm looking to get some new eyes for my Bat Children Noa I got recently (not the mystic/dreamy eyed version). Her default eyes are cute but HUGE. What size eyes do you prefer in Noa? Bonus points for pics! Thank you for humoring me and answering my noobish question.

 

i hope with the new owner everything will run smoothly with my orders, I have added some order on top of my old orders and hope they won't mix up and send me wrong stuff, I am kind of worried ....maybe I go to Q&A board to verify they get everything correctly

 

I've given up on Lati - I've asked them for all my money back on all outstanding orders and they replied saying they will let me know their decision soon. At this point I will just overpay on second hand dolls!

 

I got use to the waiting by now, I have been buying lati since they started the company , service changed soo much but I am just addicted to lati. I tried to stop buying but that did not happen. I tried buying other tiny bjd from other co. but always end up selling and back to lati again. right now I don't care how long just don't get my orders mix up and wrong. knock on wood.

 

I've sold my Noa some time ago, but I still have a pic of her wearing 12mm ED Enchanted Eyes. Hope this helps.

carmarilla - I use 14mm Enchanted Doll for Suki, my Noa. Story (Lami) next to her is wearing 12mm ED and you can see that her eye height is a bit smaller than Suki's. The 14mm glass eyes that Lati uses are giant, fish-looking eyes and really aren't a fair indication of what 14mm is in comparison to other eyes brands with this same measurement in my opinion.

I think that either 14mm or 12mm will be perfect for Noa depending on what type of look you're going for.

Hey, does anyone know if Leekeworld's 6/6.5 inch wigs will fit a lati yellow? Are they too loose or can it work? Thanks in advance!

 

Way too big, I'm afraid. They all seem to fit pretty well in most 5/6 sized wigs that I've tried.

 

Skippy - I can say with certainty that it will be way too big. My leekeworld 6-6.5 wig swims on my latis' heads! No way to make it work unfortunately. You need 5/6 size wigs.

They are the AM-020 in 12 mm.

Skippy&#8203;&#8203; ~ As the others said already, 6 inch wigs are too big. However, if you like the leeke style wigs for other sizes than 5/6 better, you could check out denverdoll.com. They sell a few leeke wigs in 5/6 size in special styles and limited colors. I've ordered from them twice and they are great to deal with.

I got my Sunny yesterday!!! I'm so happy, especially since tracking showed that she was in customs in Illinois (I live in Ohio), and I didn't think I'd be getting her till after the weekend. I love her, I really do. Everyone was right--I love my Tiny Delf Gretel, too, but as soon as I saw Sunny I thought, "I need another Lati Yellow!" Thank goodness I have a BATB Sissi ordered. Anyway, this is Lettie, short for Charlotte. I was planning on ordering her a new wig, same color as this one but different style, but I rather like this one on her. Her cheeks and lips don't look quite as dark as this in reality, but I couldn't edit better because my computer keeps screwing up.

Skippy, I wish Leeke made smaller wigs! They're so beautiful and often exactly what I'm looking for--except in the wrong side.

 

Ayla - I know! @___@ especially like some of their limited colors. But it is definitely better for my wallet if I can't have everything I want haha!
