Wow, a third Lati White tread! I am sure it will go fast after Lati upgraded Lati White body. I am waiting for four Lati Whites to join my doll family, and here are my both girls:

It is good to see this thread moving! My girls would like to say hi to the new thread.
I am also waiting... I have always loved my Briar (the "big" girl below) and just couldn't resist when lati re-released Bayer and mystic bayer over christmas. So two new girls will join our family sometime later this year - yay!

Oh how lovely to have thread number three open! I know that My Lati White Maisie (Tan Laches) would be very happy to see this as she was one of the original lati white's from 2007!! Her former owner, Maisiedoates would have been thrilled to see all these lovely new Lati White's that have become available.
Smilga, I am green with envy (good envy!) that you have four incoming Lati Whites. I can't wait to see your family of lovelies.

Alexisbears, I was wondering if you had ordered any of the new Bayers. I think that a tiny mystic bayer will be great company for Briar, she does look a bit lonely on her own! And an open eyed Bayer will be lovely too.
auntbear, I don't think you are alone in neglecting the wigs and eyes. I have done that too and am only just realising what a difference it makes to a doll to have the right look. I am also trying to stock up on some new wigs and have just splurged on new eyes too.

So many little cuties! I'm waiting for my Bayer to arrive and in the meantime am enjoying seeing all the cute pics

 

I fixed my Belle's yellow resin! I really wanted to hybrid her onto this Felix body, so I dyed her for just the tiniest bit in RIT Fuchsia

That's a really awesome match! I never would have thought to use fuchsia. I can't wait to see her all made up.

 

what a great match, and the new color is sooo pretty! now i'm tempted to dye belles big sister sophie, i've always hated the new lati normal color. did you just use straight fuchsia?

 

Well, I am out on moping! I was feeling really bummed to miss out on little tan mystic bayer, but I have realised that if I sit about feeling disapointed to miss tiny tan belle THEN tiny tan mystic bayer who was just perfection, I will miss out on awesome spam and a chance to work out and enjoy my little dark tan haru.

I am LOVING the pics in this thread. So many gorgeous girls, all styled so differently. It is amazing how different they all look when they're the same sculpt!! I hope Lati see how much we love these tinies and keep 'em coming!

 

did you know that the doll peddlar still has some preorders available? i know the shipping to australia would be worse than from lati, but if you just missed ordering, there is still a chance....

 

Thankyou But no - too broke this time. Two of my pets have been REALLY sick, and I have had to go to the vet every 2 days for the last couple of weeks. All my doll funds for a while disappeared into tests, medicine and so on. I was bummed when I realised it would put a definite end to my hopes to adopt a Bayer, buuuuuut really that just ended up feeling like a childish, silly thing to get bummed about haha.

I snapped up a dark tan Belle from the Doll Peddlar who said they were shipping from Lati. That was before Christmas. I emailed recently and they said they were still awaiting shipment. I don't think they've dealt with Lati long enough to realise that when Lati say they're shipping 'next week' they really mean 'sometime in the next few months' She'll get here eventually, which is good enough for me.

It's an American dye, luckily for me a lot of Ebay sellers have started importing it as it used to be really hard to get in the UK. It's fairly trustworthy for dyeing dolls

 

yeah i looked at the tan benny and they have it marked as in on april 15th i almost laughed out loud at that

babytarragon i think you might have missed my question, did you just use fuchsia by itself or did you mix colors? i think i might try that on my sophie next spring when i redo her face. the color you got was much prettier than the lati normal!

 

Ah sorry, I did miss your question. It's simply the fuchsia dye, no other colours added. And only 1 and a 1/2 teaspoons of powder dye in a small pan

yes but unfortunately they didn't follow their regular schedule of having the basics available after a limited event though it looks like they might be making tan belle a basic? she is listed there, just listed as sold out not restocking....

 

oh, I missed this! yes, we are in the same boat then LOL at first I was thinking the same thing about not counting on any quick deliveries from Lati. But when i mailed Judy she seemed under the impression that Lati had "found" some extra Dark Tan Belles and were shipping them to her. So i thought (and hoped) they would arrive soon. Alas, we knew better didn't we. Now she's saying Lati has said end of January/early February. Le Sigh. Still am just happy i got one

Auntbear, I found it peculiar that there were no special size for sale. I assume when/if those basics get opened up for ordering they will be too? Interesting about the tan Belle

maybe. they haven't had specials open for a long time even when they opened the new basics. i know 'cause i've been waiting to order a special size to be a big sister to belle and sophie! there were rumors on the last thread that they might finally have the specials redone/restocked in jan or feb of this year so here's hoping!

 

Tan Belle as basic would be wonderful, but I think she is listed there because 19 brown tan Belle dolls were available on 17th October 2014. She is a basic doll but still very limited.
Yes, Lati promised to sell Lati White SP dolls this year. This promise was given to someone as personal message and also as a comment under a photo on Facebook.

Did you see the new Lati's message that was posted today? The sale of basic dolls with Lati White Sophie will start soon.

My Lati White girls got new wigs yesterday. I also made some new dresses for them. Here is my Rose:

Lofthewood, PrincessStarburst, auntbear, thank you! The wig is from Dollwig on etsy. I just love the Lati White size, but I'm afraid I might need LW SP dolls too. The Lati Whites have the cutest faces!

 

I'm loving all the pictures of these wee cuties! Am waiting on my first lati white - tan OE Bayer, very excited about finally being able to order during a release period!

 

Congratulations~ they are gorgeous dolls. I am also waiting on a tan mystic Bayer. It is rare for me to order directly from Lati. I find their long wait times annoying. But in this case the wait is worth it because I have dreamed of a mystic Bayer for so long ;-)

It's strange but she do not look like the sophie of the Peterpan release
perhaps because she is a T Sophie ?

 

Peterpan is a T Sophie as well - T for tiny, I guess, since the original Sophie is a Yellow. Its amazing what a difference different makeup makes. Also the lack of elf ears in the basic could change how the face looks. She is cute as a basic - makes me more excited for my wee one to get here! I hope she isn't too much longer, but it'll probaby be a bit yet.

 

Loofthewood, the basic Sophie really looks different than Peter Pan Sophie, but it's just the faceup that makes her look different. I think Little Angel Sweeties Bayer also looks very different than the basic Bayer.
I took a photo of my smallest dolls today. At the moment I have 5 Fairyland tiny dolls and only 2 Lati Whites, but that will change at the end of the year when I will get four more Lati Whites. Here are my smallest dolls:

I'm so excited to meet my tan Mystic Bayer (Little Angel Sweeties Marshmallow)! Too bad it will feel like years before Lati actually starts shipping... In the meantime, I'm playing around with my brand new teeny-tiny knitting needles and making way too many clothes for my single LW, Nutmeg (Belle).

cute, what size needles are you using?

 

I believe for these particular shorts, I used 5/0 (or 00000). I have a size smaller, but I haven't got the hang of them yet, as it feels like I'm trying to knit with angel hair pasta.

 

they do take some getting used to, the funny thing is that after using them for a while, knitting with more "normal" sized needles like 2mm or 2.25 starts feeling a bit awkward, and i can't knit anything heavier than sock yarn anymore,... it feels like i'm working with rope and lead pipes! btw you should come join us on the knitting thread too,

@Smilga, thank you! They are so TINY! I ordered a few needles (sizes 3/0 and 4/0) from PurseParadise at Etsy, and I also ordered a few even smaller needles (5/0 and 6/0) from HiyaHiya (North America). I'm very satisfied with the products from both places.

Ch@ssycat, thank you very much for letting me know about the needles! I have a pair of needles that are 1,35mm. I wonder if I need thinner needles to knit something for my Lati Whites. I should really start to knit again, even if I love crochetting so much! Knitting is so much faster!

is that a belle do you think? i've been waiting and waiting for a special, i was going to get a basic so i could get her blank, but if i can get a tan instead i'll get the limited and wipe her when the weather is nice. this is one event i wont miss!!!

 

Auntbear, she looks more like Cherny to me, but it might be a new sculpt. Her lips remind me LY Benny.
