Thanks guys! I was happy with his wig too as I was worried that it wouldn't suit him as well as the fur- but I actually like it more.

Itsuka yes, I agree about his "eye bags", they were previously hidden by his shading, I think- but they are quite prominent now- gives him that just-woken-up look.

Oh my. My K should be here either tomorrow or the day after or something. Really soon for sure! He's somewhere in the mail as I type this. I'm excited to work on his faceup too, since I've just got new supplies last weekend. I'll be sure to picture spam when I get him together.

There was an attempted delivery today! So he could've been home right now. I was at school though, so I'll be picking him up tomorrow. I probably won't be able to really play with him until the end of the week though since I have to restring him together first...

So I picked up Saki yesterday, but I didn't get to play with him until late tonight because of having so many things to do & having to restring him many times since the elastic kept shooting up his left leg! I haven't posted a box opening thread yet (I will tomorrow when I get home from school) since I still need to finish some other things before going to sleep. I'm going to have to restring him tighter so that he can stand well without me worrying.

He looks great! Glad you sorted the elastic problem out- I see he has a renewal body too, how is the posing? From your pic it looks like he sits at 90 degrees easily (which my M has a bit of trouble with)

Anyways, I'm going to be restringing him tonight after his quick cleaning and new coats of MSC on his body. I found that I feel paranoid with any possible staining/geting dirty quick, so that'd help me. And I'm about to do his faceup too.

As for his body, 90% of the time, I get his limbs where I want them. I just think that if I string him tighter, it'll boost that percent up higher and if I suede him. His hands and feet I think have a pretty good range of movement. And his head. Bringing him to sit at 90 degrees haven't been difficult so far either~

At first, I was really worried that his hands would be too detailed and "thick" for his face/rest of body but I'm not so worried about that now. I think he's really growing on me. He'll be getting shoes and hair next week too. ^-^

 

Hello everyone! I'm actually new to this thread even though I've had my Lati boy almost since I got into the hobby- anyway, I have a Red K boy, who's on a B&G body (because it suited his character waaaay better XD) and I'm having a devil of a time finding a wig for him! Edissen is a bit of an oddball, and I want a cute slightly foofy wig that's not too crazy. (His current one is a dollmore msd cut, and I just don't think it suits him that well...) any suggestions for wigs styles (preferably short) and sizes? (I know some wigs come up small but others come up big.)

I’ve also just finished his 2nd faceup because I hated the first one I gave him. It suits Saki’s character so much better than the first! I don’t know what I was thinking for the other one (but then that was my first and a lot of things went wrong so.… ). Saki isn’t also supposed to have moles! They were an accident. I didn’t realize some paint was on my pinky until I lifted it. I kind of like them though. Maybe they’ll stay with Saki since I think it adds to his character.

He’s still hairless! I’m hoping to pick up shoes and hair for him this Saturday.

I've finally worked out my M's interesting (!) hip joint, and can now get him to sort-of slouch- it's not a Dollshe slouch, but we like it



He's wearing Dollheart's Winter Walk, and it fits surprisingly well- a little tight in the thigh & short in the leg, but the long boots hide this.

I actually can't remember specifically where I found this, but it was on ebay, and it wasn't specifically listed as a bjd wig. I found though, that the cap is a bit deeper, so it fits on his head much better even if it is a size 7. Antina's doll supply supplied me with the perfect wig for my Nill head, and my M is wearing a blonde wig from Global doll wigs I think... as soon as I can I'm going to get bodies for those two, and then buy myself a fullset L ^__^ Hooray for trying to collect them all XD

I haven't gotten Saki's real wig yet.... or well this is his hair when he was in his "rebel phase". But I'm still wanting the brown wig for him some time. I want to re-do his faceup... slightly darker than the rest of his body. But when the lighting is good, there's less of a difference (not like these pics haha).

Has anyone ever asked lati why they don't offer clothing for their redline boys? With all their other sizes you can buy extra shoes and clothes separately. Red has no clothes for boys, and just a few shoes.

I love the outfits that come with their special and limited versions, and would love to see similar outfits available for purchase all the time (especially the Christmas Special Version L =3).

Anyone else have some thoughts on this?

Everyone has such cute clothes. Lati doesn't really put effort into making clothes for the red line so I'm wondering where you all got your clothes? Could I get some tips for buying clothes for my Lati K?

 

I havent had any problems yet finding shirts and jackets for my Lati red. Although different brand's sizes can vary, it seems that the majority of SD shirts fit just fine Pants however are another story. A lot of them can be too short. I found that I really like the fit of the Dollmore Model pants on my boy, they are a tad long for him but I'd much prefer longer pants than highwaters I've heard other people were successful with the Dollmore model pants as well. I agree its a shame Lati doesnt give more attention to their red line, they seldomly come out with new limited or special editions. I guess they just rather focus on their yellow line but at least the reds come with a set of clothes when you order them so they're not completly naked when they arrive home!

I find SD13 tops fit well, I just double check that they are long enough in the sleeve, as I like them to cover his wrist joint (so it doesn't look like he is wearing his little brother's shirt ). SDGr pants fit well too, as they are little longer in the leg...my boy has one pair of Dollmore Model pants, they fit in a baggy kind of way, so I ran them in up the inner leg on the sewing machine, & now they have a more 'fitted look'

I should probably put this question in the clothing thread, but as I'm already here...does anyone know if SSDF clothes may possibly fit lati boys?
